  1. First off, Halo 5 was marketed as a Competitive game. Social was never a thing, and was never going to actually be a thing. BTB and everything else were supposed to be Ranked. Warzone was no-rank restriction, but had MMR. Second, Spartan Rank (121) doesn't mean anything. A level 17 can play better than some level 145's, mind you. Your season Rank shows where your skill gap generally is. Not how it is. Third, Bungie's rank system was only player rank in Halo 2. Halo 3 had a ranking system, and was the only game (besides Halo 5) with a ranking system. Fourth, I looked up your stats. You have 400 less kills than me (In Warzone), but your medals shows that you're not very good at playing Objective nor are you very good at Slaying. Don't complain about the game when you're the problem yourself. If you came in here saying, "Man I wish my teammates helped me. Because I can't do this by myself." then yeah. We'd be on better turns. Instead, you're saying it's everyone else's fault but yours. Then you need a reality check. Get with the program. I have a friend that's not very good, but he admits he's not good and just asks for help. He gets frustrated, but I don't get mad at him because he's not saying it's our fault, he says it's his fault. But we still carry him with us, because he's not frustrating us with his frustration, he knows the problem and we're willing to help him... People would rather play with someone who's willing to learn, than someone who's ego overcomes them and demand people to play your mindset. Also, here's our medal comparison I just pulled up: Yours are top, mine are on bottom. Also, if you're confused on why I showed medals? Because medals show more than K/D and W/L... You can boost your K/D and you can boost your W/L BUT it's a little harder to boost your medals, even if you are farming.
  2. There's a thing called Team Fire. SMG's and AR's do most damage against a Banshee. Arclight's can one shot a paper Banshee, two shot anything else. Banshee flipping has a one second cool down, if you can't shoot fast enough with a hitscan weapon. Well then RIP
  3. No, this idea is as stupid as asking to add in Halo Reach's Grunt Birthday.
  4. Oh, hey Castle! Nice to be able to see you in two places at once!
  5. Ah dude, I don't even care about which games. I love almost all Easter Eggs.
  6. Except one problem Twin, you're missing one game on the SNES Classic, that's not available for Emulation, and that's Star Fox 2. Because they're releasing the unreleased game with it. But I do agree, physical carts would make it more worthy. But, that would be the same thing for the Atari Flashbacks. As for the OP, I like the idea of the release. For $80, it's pricey. But still cheaper than buying the original system, as well as the 21 games it comes with. It's not a lot, but for what the games are... It's a pretty sweet deal. All I hope is Nintendo actually keeps making them for at least a year. I'd buy it, just for Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island.
  7. Glad you liked the idea! BoomCo would be the best place to get the Assault Rifle imo. They're officially partnered with 343 Industries, and they have their very own Lawn Dart Assault Rifle!! (It's also in Halo 5 as a weapon skin)
  8. Have you done T-shirts? Get Halo Font, maybe "Her Master Chief" and "His Cortana" with an Installation/Ring in the background or something Halo-esque. (I'm sure a Graphic Design place could do this easily for you.) If all else fails, you can totally just buy him a Gun Prop of his favorite weapon?
  9. Hello everyone, as most of you know. We over at HTA are working on making UNSC Warlord a Machinima. Well, I'm here today to let you all know that we are moving in a fast progress! We already have a few scripts wrote for the first few Episodes. And we have gone over them, just to make sure they follow as close to canon as all three of the books have! Anyways, it's time to dive even deeper on where we're going with this. So far, we have confirmed these characters will be making a return in this short film: Ash Dexter Junior Moth Archangel Runner & Sarge A few of those names should at least ring a bell. As these were all created by well known forum members! Ash = Ash Dexter = Kakashi Junior = Peanut Moth = Moth Archangel = Halo6 Follower Runner = BATMAN Sarge = Yoshi With those out of the way first, we can move on to the next fun stuff! Currently, this Machinima takes place after Book 1-3... Of course, if you read the ending of Book 3... It sorta makes sense, as well as angers some people. You can read that here: http://www.343industries.org/forum/topic/42242-unsc-warlord-book-3-chapter-23/ This Machinima takes place during War of The Created, and quickly takes turn of events as our beloved ship Warlord interprets a message, saying that they're needed to send a small army along with a ship to deal with an Insurrectionist threat. Which is wear we find out about our new Villain: Tespan. Who replaces the well known previous antagonist: Lan Chorus. Tespan is unknown at first, but is quickly discovered to have two siblings. Agnes and Sisk. Both whom are a threat as well. Tespan's plans are unknown for the first bit, but as the team dives deeper; they find out the truth as to why they were sent on this mission and it's only a matter of time before time runs out. During this Machinima, we will be having our own personal soundtrack of music we picked out as well as music we have played. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-jiINmrec4&list=PLs-vuNcKcf7WR-If0SLQsqxpakQWTi3Mn All of our music is licensed for use, which greatly helps with our process of making it happen. As well as we have one of our following members, @ helping us with video editing and what not. Making sure this video gives you the full effect of what's going on. H6WBC has also mentioned to us about how he found a way to make some visor effects and what not for this Machinima. Which will be great, and soon revealed in time! Continuing on with this subject, we would also like to copy and pasta our latest announcement on the Machinima: -We will be beginning around the middle of July. -We need about 10 voice actors for major roles and anything for side roles. -There is 15 Episodes, 2 of them already have been wrote. The next three are currently be worked on. -If anybody could help body act that would be amazing. Especially since we're planning on most episodes consisting 12+ players. -Preferably at least one female voice actors for our one lead female role. We also encourage anyone to get anyone to help. We have confidence in the Machinima, If anyone is interested, get a hold of me on here, Twitter, or via Xbox at "Fyshy Fishy" Thank You! ~HTA Board~ Of course, we understand for those who do not wish too. It's highly understood. But the point of this is to inform you fellers back at home that care! We're pushing hard for this, and hoping it works out fantastically. We don't care about how bad a voice actor you are, as long as you can adjust the emotion in the voice for the part! Continiuing on... We will be publicly announcing recording sessions and such and what not. As well as throwing out a few more videos to tease users with as well as give insight on what to expect. Thank you everyone for reading this, ~HTA Board: Drizzy_Dan, Yoshi1176, VinWarrior, Halo6WillBeCool, Fishy, Halo6 Follower, Adv Jones, HaruspexOfHell, Self Destruct, Sparky, and Ardent Prayer~ P.S. 10. Welcome there! Glad to see another Halo fan, hopefully you stick around and hangout for a few beers or seven!
  11. Yeah, it's just as if we got so desperate, we asked the Scottish for aid.
  12. 360 Anniversary Version had the save-checkpoints... Lol But out of everything, that's probably not the best reason to get rid of it.
  13. Well it could, but Halo has taken a CoD turn as many other games have. I don't think it's a matter of "What can they do to be better/return" as much as people just stopped caring. Don't get me wrong, people still play CoD, but the population has dropped enormously since the older games. Hell, you can leave and join back into the same lobby 5 minutes later, I've done that countless times. Battlefield was always a so-so game with not many players but not a low population. However, Battlefield 1 comes around. Pfft, cool and all but didn't bring attention. And for Halo, it's pretty much the same. Halo 5 was a great start in a good direction, Multiplayer gameplay was great and the mechanics were great. Haters hated, and caused many people to make it a norm. Ex: Spartan Charge, it's not as bad as it sounds but since others complain, you will too... Halo 5 was the best step towards a great Multiplayer. Just stupid decisions by devs that impacted what was already available in place. But that didn't stop people from playing though. Facing smurfs or playing with BR's instead of Magnums didn't cause a huge impact enough for people to quit the game, just the things they used to love to play. Campaign was a bad step, but lets be honest. A lot of players have yet to even finish the Campaign, the Campaign completion progress says less than 30% at this moment. So Campaign means NOTHING. As bad as most people find it, Multiplayer still holds the higher fanbase than Campaign. Which is where the nerds care anyways. Other than that, Halo 5 was in a great direction in the majority... But just like Battlefield and CoD, no matter how much they change or what they do. Players are dying off. Whether it be people are moving to PC or people are growing up or are done playing. Halo doesn't have much to do with its player base or impact really, it's something else and I'm not sure what.
  14. In the upcoming Machinima of UNSC Warlord: Rise of Tespan. We will be bringing back some of your favorite characters, but we are actually unsure of which ones. So for you Warlord readers, or people who are interested... Which characters would you like to make an appearance? https://twitter.com/HTeamAssemble/status/846526558223450112
  15. Not sure what this 3rd time a charm is... But it sounds dandy. Welcome to the forums! Glad to see another CoD player.
  16. Oh boy... Definitely going to have to go with: Void Dancer Comet (Helmet), Stalker Arrow (Armor), Rex (Visor) Pepper (Primary) Blueberry (Secondary) ^^This combination has been what I wore since Stalker Arrow was released in January's terrible update last year. (The only good thing was that piece of armor tbh)
  17. Fishy

    Salient

Map made by yours truly, Fishy. Or, by my GT... Fyshy Fishy It works with a pretty alright player count... Suggested 4-10 Players (Supports 16 if you're cray cray) Images: Supported Gametypes: Strongholds Capture the Flag Assault (Oddball too) Slayer Breakout Map Link Description: Players have been dropped onto this Forerunner facility, using the Tunnels to navigate themselves onto the playing field. Not only are your Spartan Abilities needed to perfect the movement speed of this map, the weapons are as well. Nothing too powerful, and nothing too weak. there's always a flank around the map, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled and ensure the strategic movement. Map revolves around gametypes, which toggle the on/off spawns to ensure good gameplay. As well as power weapons/powerups.
  18. I want Halo 1-4 to be retcon. And Halo 5 being where the story starts
  19. Starts: May End: August HTA's Summer of No-Outside-Contact Events consists of us reaching out to users and getting them involved in their favorite games or games they just enjoy to play. Our list is currently consisted of just a few games we are considering, and some of them we have considered. Our list is not complete, but this is what it currently consists of so far: 7 Days 2 Die Aegis Wing Gears of War 4 (INSANE) Halo 2 (LEGENDARY) Halo 3 (LEGENDARY) Halo 4 (LEGENDARY) Halo: Reach (LEGENDARY) Left 4 Dead 2 *Green = Not Yet Started *Yellow = Finished/Started These are just a few things we have mind, however let me go over a few things first. These games are just the ones currently already planned. We are still considering more, and are open to options via the Community. However, keep these few things in mind before you RSVP: You will be on a live-stream, your actions are recorded and the community will see what you did. Your voice will be included, this includes your reactions and what you say. Now with that's that, let's get a few other things out there for the Community... HTA is currently working on a Minecraft "Server", for the Xbox One. We will be open to the public for the Summer for everyone to join us! Progress we've done so far: (Please note, this was all done in Survival none of it was done in Creative) Well, now to wrap-up the topic, and to get BACK on topic... We are open to options for upcoming game streams and what-not. So if anyone has a suggestion they would be willing to help, we'll take your idea and consider. Just post below your game you'd like to see get featured and (If you want) featured with! Thank you for your time! ~The HTA Team: Drizzy (343iCF) Fishy (343iCF) VinWarrior (Podtacular) Adv Jones (Halo Archive) SD (343iCF) Ardent Prayer (343iCF) BatedSuperior (343iCF) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T25Caofr7WY
  20. Third Event was pretty much this: Slayer on (Idk, a bad map. Probably Rig) Breakout on Trench Breakout on Crossfire GSD, Twam, Ardent, Robby, Sparky, Canary, and myself were all there. (Our forums) I think Auburn, Steelgreen, Blue, and like 2 guys I don't care to remember (prolly PsychoDuck) were from HaloCustoms
  21. Spawn killing in Grifball has and always will be that way. It's been that way since Halo 3. It's been that way since Halo: Reach. It's been that way since Halo 4. It's not getting fixed, so deal with it. Or figure yourself out a game plan.
  22. Alright... So I'm back at it with the remakes/improvements to my old maps. (Because I don't know why, I like rehashing my stuff like 343 does, okay? They get feedback, and that makes me strive to improve.) Anyways, you've seen the previous version of Salient. So I'm just going to post some pictures and some details. Here are the before pictures of Salient 2.0: (Salient 2.0, was a rehash/remix of the original whereas Salient 2.1 is almost an exact copy, with a few minor tweaks for better competitive gameplay performance.) And here are the After Pictures: Anyways, here's the deets: Gametypes: Slayer Strongholds CTF Assault Breakout Oddball Lobby Size Recommendation: 2v2 3v3 4v4 Map does support 8v8, but I highly suggest you don't do it unless you're a madman. Or just dgaf. Also, here's a video of me exploring the map and the new features: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sYJ7FkNgtf0&feature=youtu.be kthx
  23. "or loves a Halo with story?" I like Halo 4 and Halo 5's story. Why do you have to separate the 2? I'm not enjoying this video so far, it's terrible. They should hire a new VO imo, this one was annoying to listen too. If you don't have a good voice, and it takes over 5 minutes. Your video can't find claims to backup, a lot of the stuff he said was recycled.
