    Sounds good to me, I'd rather have it delayed and improved. The graphics looks great, it seems like a game that's really unique to others. It's really different to anything I've seen before and I'm sure it'll get a lot of attention when released. I'm not in a rush to get it, but if it turns out to be successful, I'll consider getting it.

    Hey. I purchased the Cole Protocol but have only read the first few chapters. I haven't been reading much lately. Tobias S. Buckell seems good from what I've read so far.

    I strongly agree with these. I'm not a massive forger, but I'd definitely like to have these features. You can just delete something instead of 'undoing' it, but I see how that can be useful. The highlight option sounds really good, being able to deal with multiple pieces at once. I also like the one about rotation snap, you can be more specific on how you want something to be placed. Good ideas.

    Good observations. I also really liked FUD and it would be great to see more of it, but that's where Halo 4 kicks in. We'll have Halo: Nightfall coming out later this year as well, although it's story is completely different. The Marines are considered a sub-section of the Navy. You did a great job at spotting the ranks used and comparing them, feel free to head over to Waypoint and give 343 a little heads up for next time.

    Nice detailed post. I put the Spartan-IIIs second not third due to their more advanced augmentations, earlier and better training, and superior armour to the Spartan-Is. I respect the Spartan-Is, but in reality a Spartan-III would easily top a Spartan-I. I strongly agree with your points on the Spartan-IVs, some seem gung-ho and think they're the top. My hatred towards them has died down, but they'll never have the respect the Spartan-IIs and 3s deserve. They're not all bad, some a great soldiers and deserve plenty of respect, but they're no where near as disciplined as real Spartans should be.

    Hmm, interesting. There aren't many authors that come to mind for me, but I think that Eric Nylund was the best author out of the Halo books I've read (the first five).

    Master Chief Petty Officer John-117 all the way. This guy has suffered more, and killed more than any others in that list. He's one helluva soldier, and an even better leader. After reading the books, you realise there is so much more to John than just being a soldier in sage armour. Johnson is great, who doesn't like the Sergeant? He always manages to bring in humour in some of the worst circumstances, and he's got his little motivational speeches.

    Every leaving post a member puts up feels like an arrow to the heart. I just joined year 10 too and I know things are going to get tough, but in Sergeant Johnson's words, "Suck it up marine!". Just stay focused on whatever you need to and you'll be fine. I don't want to see you leave, and I expect you to return as soon as possible. The forum needs members like you. May the force be with you.

    As far as I'm aware, nothing major. There are improved graphics and audio, which are optional. Easter Eggs should still remain, maybe a few new ones with the newer graphics like RedStar mentioned. They did this in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary with the sneaky troll face on the first mission, so why not pull something off in Halo 2? Not sure about the Scarab Gun though. In multiplayer, some maps have been remade and there new features you can interact with. They're also pulling in the all new Gungoose.
