  1. Good news, 343 Industries are thinking about getting the loved Halo 3: ODST and the memorable Halo: Reach to Xbox One! According to an interview with Dan Ayoub, executive produce at 343 Industries, so many people asked about the two games that it's actually gotten 343 thinking about it. Neither are in development at the moment, but it's possible for both to return. Nothing was said about Halo Wars, although a sequel may have been hinted at in the 'Phantom Dust' Trailer. Do you want to see both games make a return to next-gen? Post your thoughts down below. 2. Hmm, interesting idea. Sounds like something the Covenant would do. I doubt we'll be seeing ourselves playing as a marine or police trooper any time soon though. I see how you compare this to Halo 3: ODST, using the stealthy game play it had. I think this is a creative idea, nice work.
  3. I thought Halo Wars was a great game and I'd like to see a sequel. I con only think of three major things I'd like to see improved upon. Improved Graphics - This is not for cut-scenes, those graphics were great. The in-game graphics could be improved. Space Battles - I'm sure many of us would like to see space warfare. In the books, lots of the combat is fought in space. They could use the books as a place to start for this. New enemies - Prometheans? Or a more advanced Flood/Rebel A.I.
  4. Um, Falcon? I used to play Living Dead the most, but I vote Invasion. It had to played strategically and was a good way of getting people to work as a team. You had the chance to play as a Spartan, and an Elite. How fun is that? I loved the fact that vehicles were integrated into it, some for offence and some for defence.
  5. I like it. Lots of effort put into it and some useful hints and tips. You're completely right about avoiding a fight or leaving it. It's not necessarily being a coward, it's more like doing what's necessary to survive. 'Map Positioning, Power Weapons Control, Vehicle Control, and Pressure.' Those are really accurate in judging what you need to win a game. As long as you have these four things with skilled players, every game should be an easy win. Really accurate and helpful guide, great work Treason.
  6. I think that it's more realistic for the Chopper or Prowler to return. The Falcon seems out of date to me and unless Hornets are still used, there's no reason to bring them back out of no where. If the Brutes are going to make a return, then so should their vehicles.
  7. I voted Halo Wars because I feels as if it's a bigger game and more effort was put into it. I haven't played Halo: Spartan Assault, I've only seen gameplay. I will be getting it on Xbox One real soon, and I'm sure my vote will remain with Halo Wars. Halo Wars is a bigger game in general, it's a full game not an arcade game. It seems to be more complex than Halo: Spartan Assault and it's story seems more interesting to me. Now don't get me wrong, Halo: Spartan Assault seems like a great game, but I would vote Halo Wars over it.
  8. Great detailed list. It's lore heaven! How do Halo 3 + Halo: Reach break lore/cannon? I''m not saying that they don't, I'm just curious to see how they do.
  9. Halo: Escalation Issue 13 Announced! http://www.343indust...e-13-announced/

Is there a thread for discussing the Escalation series?

  10. Recently Dark Horse announced it's 13th issue of Halo: Escalation! It'll cost $3.99 and will be released on December 24th. Here's some of the comic's description: "Requiem has been destroyed, but the real war between Commander Sarah Palmer's Spartans and Jul 'Mdama's New Covenant is just beginning...and everything else hinges on control of one all-powerful artifact." Will you be buying Halo: Escalation Issue 13 when it's released in December? What do you think of the story so far? Make sure to hide any spoilers. 11. This is all opinion-based. I love Halo: CE and Halo 2, but more of the hype is going to Halo 2 because it's being remastered. Halo: CE was already remastered back in 2011 and it was great, but Halo 2 still hasn't. Halo: CE will be returning to Halo: MCC, but it's not as big as a deal as Halo 2: Anniversary will be. I'm sure everyone still loves Halo: CE, but it's time for Halo 2 to be remastered and that is one of the reasons many people will be buying Halo: MCC in first place.
  12. I need a Fireteam for Destiny Xbox One. Anyone?

  13. You have to give the person who won the last riddle 5 days to come up with their own, if they don't then another one must be created. Possibly by the last one to create a riddle, who in our case is The Director. It's been over 5 days so a new riddle is to be posted.
  14. I'm pretty sure it's there mainly for the 'Chief Smash!' achievement. I don't see why the Forerunners would have had a Brute Weapon, so it may not be a lore-based feature. I guess 343 just wanted to throw in some fun and create a challenging achievement to gain. The Gravity Hammer has became sort of an iconic weapon from Halo, nothing like the Energy Sword, but still easily recognisable. They may have brought it back for the fans.
  15. My copy of Destiny on Xbox One arrived today. :)

  16. I'm not one of those people that hated Spartan Ops, I actually quite liked it. A Season 2 would seem expectable and I'd like to see it continue, but that is something that the Campaign can easily dea with. Spartan Ops seems like a Halo 4.5, a bridge between Halo 4 and 5, it may only be a one time thing. I wouldn't mind seing a sequel though, but most people I know would prefer for Firefight to return and replace it.
  17. Happy Birthday for yesterday! :D Sorry for being late.

  18. Yesterday, one day after it's release, Destiny became a record breaker by raking in a whopping $632 million! Activision, the game's publisher, announced that they had exceeded 500 million US Dollars and that this "marks another blockbuster success" for their company. They were confident from the start that all the hard work they had put into Destiny would pay off. The game currently sells at $60, and special editions with higher prices are also available for purchase. Although Destiny pulled through with high numbers, there are some in the industry that still credit Halo for being the game to build on the Xbox's success. So what do you think? Will you be buying Destiny any time soon? If you already have, do you think it's as good as it was said to be? 19. My vote goes to the Battle Rifle. I prefer it's play style over the DMR. I also enjoy using it more in Campaign and Firefight, not only Multiplayer. Now don't get me wrong, the Designated Marksman Rifle is a great weapon, extremely effective, but I personally prefer the BR. The DMR isn't really the best up close and you'll get easily taken down against an enemy with a BR or AR if they're good enough. The Battle Rifle is great for close to medium range and can still do some damage at a far distance, although not as much as the DMR. Final solution: Battle Rifle.
