  1. I am pretty sure the AR doesn't kill in a full clip, hence them buffing it. Either that, or every bullet needs to connect in the clip to get the kill. Not really sure which one it is.
  2. You forgot de-scoping upon being shot.
  3. Yeah, this is a very big issue that does deserve more attention. I believe the reason it has seen more light is more people play Halo 4 by themselves then with friends on splitscreen. The forge maps coming into circulation is THE reason I finally put the game down and play Halo 3 now. They are just unplayable when the framrate decides to big out. I was happy with Infinity Slayer with the generic maps, but now that forge maps got put in (and it was one of the last playlists to get forge maps) I can't even play that cuz everyone always vote forge maps. I am with you on this. 343 needs to work on optimizing splitscreen multiplayer rather than patting themselves on the back and popping champaign open for implementing things that should have been in the game at launch.
  4. Far be it for me to go and and say people are not allowed to have their own opinions. That I won't argue. I would like to understand why they have said opinions, or what they have against people of opposing opinions, which appears to be the case here.
  5. Bacon, if you were any more biased you could work for a cable new network. How is that possibly the best answer when it doesn't even answer the original question of the OP? What don't you like about competition? It ensures that the best of the best are at the top. On an economic level, it prevents monopolization of recources and provides us with a variety of high quality, cheaper products. There is nothing wrong with competition as I said, it is human nature. The only ones that don't like it are the ones that aren't even competing which in that case their perspective is more or less irrelevant. You can't be ambivalent or indifferent to something and expect to understand it. That is the fallacy here.
  6. Yeah, the message is that you are better than them. That is what the ranks are about. Competition. Competition is a part of human nature, and the foundation of western political and societal structure. That is why there is such a big fuss over ranks. Why, you would have to be communist to not like competition.
  7. I thought I was the only one that played Sins of a Solar Empire. I never got around to nodding it. Probably would have made me play more.
  8. Mark Rubin is funny."Yeah, we are risky and innovative here at Inifinity Ward. We don't play by the rules like a loose cannon cop that is out of control!" Even if it is a "new" CoD game, I will be hardpressed to think it won't be unlike the last few games. Not to say I won't be waiting to see how this all plays out, but still ...
  9. Ulysses wasn't a sidekick, he was an antagonist because he was trying to kill the courier. My favorite duderahginist is definitely A tie between Atton Rand and Kreia from Knights of the Old Republic II, The Sith Lords. They had a good dynamic as far as companions go in relation to themselves and the exile. Khem Val, the servant of Tulak Hord, also makes a very good sidekick for the Sith Inquisitor in The Old Republic. His raw strength and power balances out the strengths and weaknesses of the Inquisitor, especially if you roll a Sorcerer. I thought I would like Ashara Zavaros, but she is just so annoying and you can't even turn her to the darkside.
  10. Anyone got pics of Super Saiyan God?
  11. People that play Grifbal care about KD?
  12. Move along folks, nothing to see but trolling here.
  13. No, there are definitely new maps. That is pretty much why stopped menfrom playing cuz Infinity Slayer was the only "forge map free" playlist. Now that laggy forge maps like simplex, shutout, and opus are in the playlist I am pretty much done with this game.
  14. I never get that map to come up in the game. Lucky. I always get Snowbound(which annoys me), Construct, Narrows, The Pit, High Ground, and Guardian. I can't get enough Construct though.

    4SK BR

Who cares if you can take out a Promethean Knight? That isn't multiplayer. Geeze. Logic.
  16. They should have just had ranked and social playlists, I don't what was would've been so hard about that.
  17. You guys haven't played much Halo...
  18. They try to throw me in JIPs so often I don't even bother backing out anymore. Like literally every other game game is a JIP.
  19. Lol, all your favorite playlists basically require an prganized team to be successful. That is why I don't play those playlists. Not bause I don't enjoy them, but because I can't dedicate the time to play with an organized team. Hence, I search solo and play individual playlists.
  20. BR is better than the DMR because it is easier to maneuver in and out of the single shots from the DMR than it is of the burst fire of the BR. Odds are no matter how good your stage is you will catch a couple of bullets in a BRs burst, and thus give you the minute edge you need to win a majority of those 1v1s on smaller maps. In that respect, BR wins a lot vs the DMR in closer ranges.

    4SK BR

4sk BR and all that other amazing stuff is coming June 3rd, apparently.
  22. Good to see you are making videos back. If your fans are dedicated to you it is only right to show them the same amour of devotion as well. I feel like CSR is almost as bad as SR. I play like, 4 games of Big Team Slater and I hit 27. That would be impossible in Halo 3. If you go onto Halotracker there are soooooo many 50s in Rumble Pit. Seems like the number has lost a lot of meaning. Btw, is it me or all your videos on abandon?

    Tips

Bumper Jumper is the same through the last three Halo games as well. Strafing, as the guy above me said me said is quite important, though not nearly as important as older games. I will advise against Ghandi hopping though, it is a relic. With the amount of aim assist and with hit boxes as large as they are, the extra amount of focus it takes to perform it is not worth the minimal amount of mobility you are getting out of it. I never see people do it and when I do find an idiot that does, they are just as easily 5-shot as anyone else. Strafing is more effective with the last minute jump shot at the end. Another thing, turn vibration on your controller off. It takes a minute to get used to, but I feel it does make aim slightly better because your controller isn't shakin your hands as you fight someone. Also, always keep grenades. Grenades pretty much make or break 1v1s if you can bank them well. Play players that you know are better than you. If you get a lobby where you just got destroyed, stay in and don't back out like a little ****. That experience will help you develop as a player.
  24. Lol, anyone (that plays infinity slayer) notice that the only games you ever JIP in are Abandon and Complex? I swear, 90% of my games on those maps come from JIPs. I think 343 should just do the decent thing and take those maps out of rotation. It is so glaringly obvious that they are horrendously unpopular.
  25. Halo isn't dead exactly, just severely beaten like an old lion being bested by a younger male for dominance in his pride. In this case, the younger male is CoD. CoD won't last either though; soon it'll go the way of Halo and not break past a population of 100K due to it being an outdated model for FPSs. Thing is, Cod doesn't change just like Halo wasn't for the longest time. That is why people shifted to COD, because it offered gamers people wanted. That complacency will work against it in the long run, however. I have a feeling that Destiny, if done right, could take the throne on the top of the FPS food chain. It seems like it will combine the best aspects of competitive online gaming along with MMORPG aspects such as social interaction, character customization and development, open world exploration, and compelling story--things we could only dream of being present in a competitive shooter until now.. These are what FPS fans of the next generation want, the only reason we aren't there yet is because we are not ready for it, both with the hardware we have (360s and PS3s) and the gaming culture we currently live in. Once these new systems launch and we see what real gaming entertainment is like, CoD will be a thing of the past just like Halo is now.
