  1. There is no one here you can get in touch with nor can we personally direct you to a certain person. This is only a fan site forum for Halo. Best advice, tweet, FB post or post at halowaypoint where someone from 343 may see it and or respond. Best of luck!
  2. That explains it. Not sure how to let you down easy so......No. No fix will be issued nor is the game officially supported by 343 anymore.
  3. Actually the real reason is, why would we play it at all? It's not an editing kit, it supports no outside 3rd party content and does nothing to please or tap the potential that is literally 100x greater than 343 themselves. So in a nut shell....
  4. Is this on Xbox 360 or Xbox One? I have never encountered this issue on the 360 myself. If it's on the XB1 and there is a history of this issue, it's likely the fact that the XB1 has to suedo emulate certain aspects of code previous to current games running the new x86 code base. I am unaware of any fix, and if it's been two years....I wouldn't hold my breath for a fix.
  5. So let me get this right. Everyone is OK shelling out absoborant amount of money for PSN and XBL, not to mention micro transactions.......but Nintendo is somehow wrong for doing the same thing?!? There is no logic or realistic reasoning in forming such a stand. As for the whole gaming style of making it mobile.....HELLO!!!!! As much as we have to admit it, mobile type gaming is a growing fax. It isn't fading and it is gaining momentum. I see nothing wrong with this, and it makes it easy to game with friends in person by reducing size and making it portable friendly. On that note what is wrong with supporting physical gameplay? How many people are playing Pokemon Go? How many of us play games or use social media while actively.....being active? Again, no logical or real tangible debatable facts have been shown against it. Graphics wise Nintendo is smart here. Tehran based GPU schema based of 1k series GTX Cards. Right now, they are the king and it's nice to see a company finally use something that isn't already 3-5 years outdated. Obviously since we are getting an Nvidia GPU, the likely CPU or GPU will either be Intel or Nvidia. Since I haven't found an actual spec yet, I will estimate that since we are getting a current GPU, we will also get a current 7th gen Intel to couple with it. That already boasts more computational possibility than PS or DB. As for sound, I would probably guess either Realtek or Qualcomm Either way, sound hasn't evolved at all over the past 5-6 years so this is moot. Yes the storage sucks, but prices are so low, that expanding it won't hurt you as much. As for the connectivity, we have to wait and see. There is a lot of unreleased or talked about hardware specifics. Overall I would say I'd be more likely to buy a Nintendo over a PS or xB since Nintendo has an actual built proven library of exusivez, where as the only others are Halo, a few racing games, and a bunch of other crappy software that they literally now try to throw free at you if you buy their system. To sum that up, I'll take Metroid and Zelda over any other title any day.
  6. It's the system and the game, hence why you didn't see these issues u too now. My best guess is that the 4k option is the cause. Since there is no real way for the system to actually detect the numerous models of TV's, the system produces all variations of output resolution. Since the system is now effectively producing 3 variant cycles, it taxes the system. Even more so since the newest version of Blam! is so easily recognized as being a far inferior created engine compared to the afformentioned ones created solely on the newer arcitecture. Halo 5 was rushed. It started development on the old x64 based schema then migrated over to the x86. This was bound to happen.
  7. More likely it's the utter stupidity of modding thru JTAG or modification of game files thru Assembly, Horizon or the other myriad of tools in heavy use right now by the wide majority of Hispanic areas. No amount of begging, pleading or lying will help you. If you were indeed complete console ID banned, it was because you knowingly did something wrong. Face your punishment like everyone else.
  8. A thread revived by Ms. Rockbell..... What could go wrong?
  9. As much as I personally like to see debates and thoughts on 15+ year old titles, CE is NOT one that can even be properly discussed. CE was a 6 monthgame. The game that was supposed to bē Halo, was completely scrapped and rewritten in 6 months time. Normal engine development alone is a 3+ year venture and the netcoding end of it takes just as long in simultaneous development. Given the fact that this game was thrown together by a team of less than 10 people is astonishing in it's own right. Trying to pick it apart and compare it to successors that had proper development time is like trying to debate a stone wheel versus a Hancook tire. That being said, CE actually did multiplayer and story better than it's successors. The proof is in the still recent 500+ multiplayer base that still exists and the numerous downloads available for þe title. Also as a secondary thought, pretty graphics do not a good game make....aka Halo 4 & Halo 5 failed miserably because of the attention to detail and graphics, and less on story, replay value and good old fashion fun. Halo has to quickly evolved as a whole and in that process it lost it's own identity. It is now a basic copy & paste fps title just like CoD.
  10. I only played one game because the rest seem boring. Pokemon Go FTW!!!! What else needs to be said...it's bloody Pokemon! It's Poke-tastic!
  11. We are not 343i nor do we have any affiliation with them. We are a fan forum only. As for you'r problem, it is a widely known and understood fact that there is a cap for how many credits you can earn per day on Reach. Once 24 hours passes since you hit the cap, you can earn credits again.
  12. I'm sorry, what? Poor rendition doesn't even begin to explain this mess. I'm assuming you think that we have something to do with the developers of halo, 343Induistries. In which case you are mistaken. This is a fan forum. Welcome?
  13. Halo players ACT entitled, there is little to no debating this. How many inflamed Reddit, Subreddit as well as other websites have we seen claims of "wanting a refund" or "give us the game we want" threads? Fact is, due to how consumerism has evolved as a business and practice, they themselves bred the now "Entitled" gaming movement as a whole. Far be it from me to claim anything other than logical and factual, but it is correct. Gamers today have been so empowered to the point in which they really do think they are entitled to refunds and gaming titles that cater to their every wish and desire. And anything that falls short in any way is unacceptable. A decade ago gamers did not have this false sense or feeling of entitlement. We got what we got, and that was it. There was no whining, flaming or endless complaining just because we were not 100% satisfied with what we boguht. Contrary to popular belief, gaming and media/entertainment in general has NO GUARANTEE! Anything you rent/buy/play is not guaranteed to function/satisfy or otherwise. You do this under your own accord. Perhaps if more people actually read a EUA and the companies actually stuck to their guns, we wouldn't have bred this Era or Entitlement. That's just my 39 years of life expereince....
  14. Nintendo is again heading in the direction that seems to be the "Lonely Left Field". Mobile gaming is a fad, a horrible, costly and step backwards fad. Banking on mobile gaming is like banking on the tablet market to replace the desktop. Doesn't work, won't work, move on. Sony is following what MS started in terms of bridging the PC/Console divide, albiet both in the wrong way. Being said, Sony has a massively larger AAA base and from what reports indicate, pulls it off leeps and bounds beyond MS. Microsoft is simply rinse repeating what they did with the 360. But this time around, they are touting Scorpio as a true next gen killer. As if to say that the hardware they currently have is tapped out, and they need a stronger system to work with, because their talent pool and quality is just that massive. If you believe that, I have a bridge in France I want to sell you. At the end of the day it all muddles down to Sony and MS bidding for your bucks on the holidayz, while simply delivering recycled services you don't need and are simply trendy, not revolutionary. If we wanna talk big about gaming and quality, let's wait until at least year 6, when the hardware is finally properly supported by next gen software. As the old saying goes, A fancy smanshy hardware rig does not produce quality, without the bleeding edge software to be powered by it. It would be like being handed a GTX 1060 in 2012. Sure it's the highest end, but is the software to utilize it fully there? In short, what are they all doing wrong? NOT moving onto true next hen extensability such as proprietary upgradable hardware. Not, diy type stuff, but bring your console in, MS sponsored spots retrofit a new cpu, ram, gpu into it, and your back gaming on a more powerfull console with less downtime, more options, and far less money spent by you, and by costly hardware manufacturing just for chasis', dvd drives, packaging, etc...
  15. Jumping the gun are we not? Frank's comments were that basedof sarcasm. Fact: Due to the new development architectures and lack of software even potentially harnessing 20% of current gen hardware is what led to the inability of maintaining high fps with split-screen. We should be waiting to hear an ACTUAL release of documented information about Halo 6 before wasting time on frivilous conjucture and possible what-ifs. Just my take...
  16. Email address linkage is the likely cuplprit. Let's be honest, everyone assumes that just because you use a VPN, mask your locale or IP, that they can "fool" Microsoft. It's a billion dollar company...they can find you whenever they want, and find your info/account/id just as easily. Moral of the story...don't do stupid stuff that will and can result in a ban.
  17. You really gotta coordinate better with me next time you jump on brah! Well said I could NOT have said it any better. While I too have some qualms with what happened, I guess things inevitably change either for the best or worst. But at the end of the day, it isn't the site or who is running it that makes it a great place, it is it's members as a collective whole family. Wish you were still here and texted me from time to time, I'm sure we both have a LOT to catch up on. Tell Derek to get his ****** arse on here once in a while too!
  18. The problem is not Live or your individual settings. The main core problem is the netcoding and scripting that was thrown in to swmi allow a functioning co-op CE experience. By default, CE was multiplayer only, ao trying to add the Live functionality of a co-op was hit or miss and pray, pray, pray to god that it works even 10℅ of the time. Not sure if it comes a relief or more disdain, but it is soley the fault of 343 and the infinite screwey planning and execution that took place.
  19. If there is a server issue you will usually find info on it at Xbox.com. If you were looking for a direct 343 answer, you won't find it here. This is a fan forum. But that being said we have a great community so you may find someone posting or shouting an answer to your question. Hope that helps?
  20. Unfortunately no, there will no longer be any support or fixes for the game. In terms of support...consider MMC another H2V. From what I can tell, the game was pieced together by amateur programmers and there are literally too many errors and bugs to even get it stable enough to call the thing a Beta.
  21. Based off of the fact that this particular permutation does NOT show a corresponding model, it is entirely possible that this permutation is a DLC based armor. Meaning that inside the mainmenu map file, the reference is there, but whatever map or external data source it is linked too, is not in our hands yet. Either that, or it's a dev only permutation and it has to be specifically assigned, or else for anyone else it shows up as a blank model. Just a theory but it is based off of how the internal engine and tags are handled. Then again who knows how different things are really layed out since we don't currently have ANY information on the game engine variant or tag related data itself.
