out of curiosity, what alien allies are you talking about? I would doubt anyone who would say that the Sangheili are still allied with the humans. And before anybody says anything about Thursday War (which I haven't read yet), or that's just Storm Covenant, think about how humans work for a moment. We were at war with a genocidal alien conglomerate which wants to wipe out all of humanity, suddenly after about thirty years or so, one faction decides to switch sides. And then four years later a part of that faction decides to rejoin that conglomerate. I would highly doubt that there is a single human in the galaxy that would be comfortable around an elite.

There's an idea Sierra, maybe if you defeat a hunter (under certain conditions) you can hijack the hunter and charge it around like a cyclops from God of War and the finish of the sequence would be shoving a grenade into an unfriendly place. Of course something that awesome would have to be one off, it would have to be the mother of all hunters. If you ran into that over and over it would be tedious and lose meaning. Perhaps a cut-scene or something.

The first thing I'm doing when I get home with the game? I'm going to bed, I have to work in the morning. But seriously, I plan on just sticking with the campaign for a week or so, my Gold has expired and I don't have the money to renew quite yet.

I'm not sure why they singled out tower bridge, stone henge makes since in a certain way, if they were going to link a whole bunch of ancient places together (I personally would have thrown in some Maya ruins considering the "2012 doomsday")

this is not an invalid argument. Mi¢ro$oft is kind of known for their blatant money grab techniques. And their exclusive game properties are nearly a license to print money. However, with that being said, they must know that gamers (the Halo fanbase in particular) are a bit unforgiving when it comes to bad games. And they will lose far more money than they make if they start skimping on their end. I'm looking forward to Halo 4 because I'm curious on what happens next. What is happening with the covenant, who and what are the protheans and what are there intentions with the galaxy. But what I'm most excited about is the fact that there is NO FLOOD!!!! I know my opinion differs from others on this point, but the games where I don't have to face those ******* zombies where the best ones.

I personally hope 343 is more creative than to just repeat the ending of previous games. With that being said, An interesting scenario would be an aerial escape with a banshee through a huge cavernous area. I can imagine giant stalactites and columns collapsing around you as you fly out. Of course when he gets to his destination Chief crashes just short of his destination in the ending cut scene. Preferably just under the cliff and then climb up and look behind him to see the magnificent desolation that he left behind.

I was under the impression that the Spartain Ops were the replacement for invasion. I am dissapointed that they chose to replace both invasion AND firefight with one play mode that we will have to pay a subscription for eventually.

here's an idea, planet griffball. the ball is on the "South Pole" (bottom of the sphere) and the goal is on the "North Pole" (top of the sphere). the goal would have to be a free goal so it didn't matter which team got to the top. to make it really interesting you could make it a free for all with no teams. the first person to get to the goal scores.

Can't say I'm a big fan of the name, at first I thought it would be a rippoff of COD, but I've never heard of a game that had weekly relese episodes. I just hope you can go back and play old episodes.
