Having the ranking of a player visible only to that player is a good idea because it will reduce the abuse that Halo 3's ranking system took with boosters, de-rankers, etc.

This system won't be manipulated/boosted nearly as much as Halo 3's.

I actually fell down that elevator shaft once on accident playing co-op with a friend. He started the elevator and when I tried to jump down onto it, I fell right through.

I'll definitely play the campaign on Heroic first thing, then complete Spartan Ops missions before they become unavailable. That is, if each episode goes away after some time...

He's right. Look at Forge in Halo: Reach and see even there how many things are adjustable and changeable in Halo gameplay. ... And that's just what the developers let us change. There will be PLENTY of different ways to play Halo in Halo 4. I think 343 knows what a huge, diverse fan base that they have to please.

Maybe if I get bored enough this Summer I can pick up the Halo books instead of the games. Might even make reading possible during Summer...

What great value! It's like I won't have time to play anything else! This is the best problem one could hope to have: So much content in one game that you can't play other games.

That's Wall-E! Did someone seriously spend time putting Wall-E's face onto a gun? Sad. Don't get too worried about this.

People need to remember that very few multiplayer game types were shown at E3. If you desire a more competitive game, wait until a more "classic" version is played. Infinity Slayer is not the only game type!

I always liked the idea of having control over my shots with the DMR. Bloom works with a weapon like it.

Hey 343, I wanted to suggest making the newer Defiant achievements in Halo: Reach not map-specific. It requires a lot more luck than skill to get them. It's nigh on impossible to get a Defiant map in Infection (for "All Alone"), and it's a real pain to get a Defiant map to come up in a playlist with 1 flag CTF as an option where your team is talented enough to completely prevent the opposing team from even touching the flag (for "Don't touch that"). I already gave you my money to buy the map pack, so can I please be given the ability to get the achievements the correct way? I shouldn't have to resort to boosting. The Noble achievements aren't map specific, I think. Can we have the same for the Defiant ones?

I played the level "Cortana" in Halo 3 again today. I don't want the flood back. Ever. :wallbash:

When walking into the Control Room at the very end of the level "Assault on the Control Room" in Halo : CEA (most recent best memory), I accidentally pressed the fire button and committed suicide instead of pressing the action button to open a door... I was carrying rockets. I was not given a checkpoint after clearing out the enemies entering the area. This was on Legendary. :thumbdown:

I stopped playing it because it's a royal PITA to get a Defiant map to come up in the playlist for the "All Alone" achievement!

I have 4 Defiant achievements and one Anniversary matchmaking achievement left! My goal is to complete them before Halo 4. My GT: igobyfrank. I'm open to boosting as well as getting them legit; I would just need a really great team to get "Don't touch that"...
