  2. I don't understand your reasoning or justification behind this comment. Microsoft doesn't hold any grudge against Europeans. They will go with whoever is going to make them money.
  3. All I'm going to say is that you are correct Director if someone can snipe a driver out of the Warthog frequently using the DMR or sniper rifle... but I don't think that that is a skill that very many people have (props to you for being able to do that). Still even if I don't see why the driver cannot powerslide out of the way and find cover making the driver a very hard target along the way. I don't necessarily think that they should nerf the Gauss Hog. Personally I think that it is such a dominant power vehicle that it should be placed in a neutral position... That way it would take teamwork to secure and would likely be blown up in the beginning of the match. With the way they have designed the map I am not sure if that is a possible change.
  4. From what I've heard more people are complained about the complete opposite happening... Which leads me to conclude that people have differing levels of luck with their ordinance drops and the game doesn't favor any specific team. I have to ask though... Why do you consider Sticky Detonator to be one of the worst Ordinance drops? I love it when I get a Sticky Detonator.
  5. LOL Who would keep the shoutbox all nice and clean from curse words and trolls.
  6. Essentially what I got from that is that there are small drawbacks to the Gauss but it's ridiculous advantages render them relatively minor. and I also don't necessarily think that the Gauss requires much skill to use at long range. If your target is inside any portion of the circular reticule then you'll end up with a kill. The Binary rifle tends to be far less powerful at all but the shortest of ranges. The idea of taking someones shields down while they are in the Warthog is rendered void by the fact that any half decent driver would just swivel quickly and drive away or at an angle that makes it hard upon the shooter. Any half decent gunner would also likely kill the shooter with the cannon before they can get the fifth shot off. I'm fairly sure that it did receive a nerf in Halo 4 due to it being way too OP in previous Halo's. Unfortunately it wasn't nearly enough.
  7. DMR Boltshot Jet Pack Mobility Stability The mobility that results from Jet Pack combined with mobility is stupidly powerful. The DMR is the best precision weapon IMO and the boltshot is a great CQB compliment to the long range DMR. Stability helps with DMR battles.
  8. Am I the only one who liked Halo 2 the best? I prefer Halo 3 but that's not to say that I don't thoroughly enjoy Halo 4.
  9. With a half decent gunner the DMR can probably only place 2-3 shots on the warthog without getting it's brains blown out when the Hog gunner immediately turns around to wherever he's getting shot from. Say what you want but it is a vehicle with absolutely no real flaws. It has perfect accuracy, unlimited range, one shot one hit against any infantry, wrecks vehicles, incredibly mobile, and a decent rate of fire. I think the problem with your solution is that if your teammates aren't complete garbage then it is going to be hard to arrange any attack plan considering you are going to have a Gauss Hog that will pelt their entire team in 5 seconds not to mention having to squeeze through the other people to even get close enough to attempt a plasma pistol or plasma grenade. While power weapons can wreck the Gauss Hog (really only Spartan Laser and Rockets though) they are not reliable ordinance drops and may take a considerable amount of time to get. If you get the rockets then you still have to get relatively close due to the Gauss being able to quickly wheel itself out of the way. And yes the enemies may be terrible... but I don't think that a vehicle should be capable of being this dominate against even bad players anyway. It's a hard thing to do. I think that if they increased the Rate of Fire any reasonable amount then it would make it far easier for enemies to flood the area without getting pelted by Gauss Cannon fire. It would make the Warthog more accessible for Sticky Grenades. Out of 1371 posts exactly 2 have been concerning the Gauss Hog. It's a serious discussion because this vehicle is way too dominate. Stop being so mad. There's no reason for that. TBH though if anybody thinks that the Boltshot is overpowered then I don't see how they can think that the Gauss isn't. The reason that I am actually posting here is because I have considerable experience as a Gauss Hog driver and I honestly think that it should be nerfed. It doesn't appear to be much of a problem nowadays because most drivers are idiots... but, as you've heard from people on this site, if a good driver goes in it... then 30 kill streak, 40 kill streak, 25 kill streak. The amount and frequency with which people are getting massive kill streaks with this vehicle points to it being OP. Say what you want but I don't think that a similarly skilled tank driver could have gotten even 1/3 the number or kills as this Gauss driver against the same (or maybe even worse) enemies.
  10. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7QPnj43CUd8 No vehicle should be able to rack up a 58 kill streak this easily and this quickly. A bad driver in the Gauss Hog could very well have a Killing Frenzy all lined up but a good driver can very commonly rack up killstreaks of 25+. All it takes is a driver who is willing to sit back by the warthog spawn and there is no reliable counter to the Gauss Hog.
  11. If you could sum up Zelda's reign as MoM in one smilie, then it would probably be...
  12. They aren't that equal. As a matter of fact the DMR is statistically superior to the BR in every scenario except for SWAT on close range maps.
  13. Say what you want but this is more impressive than somebody doing the same thing in the Gauss Hog. The tank is at least somewhat susceptible to EMP's from the Plasma Pistol and long distance Plasma Grenade tosses all of which it has a hard time moving out of the way of. The Gauss Hog doesn't suffer from any of these problems.
  14. Much congratulations on the new position. *makes sure no one is listening* Pst -- Rig all the contests so I will win them all.
  15. Adults capitalize their I's and use the correct form of "their" in THEIR sentences... Anyways I'm done. Say what you want but I'm not going to respond.
  16. No I'm not upset at all. However, your complete disregard for basic grammar and punctuation techniques is slightly unnerving.
  17. If you hate the game so much then why have you wasted over 200 posts worth of your time posting on these forums about the game. As a matter of fact here you go... XCOM Forums Made it easy for you to leave so we don't have to hear your constant comments bashing the game
  18. The only time I have had bad spawns with is SWAT Complex and Adrift CTF. What your talking about though is what normal SWAT is supposed to play like. You have to be on your tip-toes right off the bat in SWAT because all it takes is one shot to kill someone.
  19. Added... I think I got pretty close on your color xD
  20. My biggest problem with the ending was how weak and unsatisfying that final boss battle was. An opponent as powerful and dominate as the Didact should not be offed with a simple easy quick time event. He could have posed a serious challenge in battle for the Chief and it would have been an epic fight. But alas, it was not meant to be. (Maybe in Halo 5) I'm fine with how they left things between Chief and Cortana because I know that Cortana will be returning soon enough. Chief may get some simple replacement AI for the time being but there is obviously no way that 343i would off Cortana for good. While some members of this site may be fine with it because of it's storytelling value the vast majority of Halo fans would be utterly pissed off by such a move. So you shouldn't be very worried about the future of the franchise yet. If 343i has learned anything from Bungie's legacy they may even leave Spartan Ops and Internet riddles and puzzles detailing her survival a couple years before Halo 5 release. xD
  21. Beowulf 0_o He brings a literary connection to the table...
  22. They were removed because 343i decided that they wanted War Games to work out with the story that they had planned. In essence matchmaking is now a combat simulation that takes place aboard the infinity. Apparently it wouldn't work with the story to have elites in there because there would be no reason for that in the combat simulation. I do not think that it was the best idea. Many people liked playing as elites and though some people may say that they like the fluent and complete story experience present in Halo 4 the vast majority of people (probably 99.9%) don't really care very much.
