  1. That was easily the most dominate performance I have ever witnessed in BTB and quite likely all of Halo.
  2. Thruster pack does need a slight distance buff as it was advertised in it's ability to quickly close the gap on an enemy but in reality is slower than sprinting. Just a few extra feet would be nice. It definitely wouldn't be upsetting any balance as the thruster pack is not used often right now due to its weakness.
  3. That's the issue me thinks. I can't imagine more than a couple.
  4. Though it's dying down a little bit it is quite a good idea.
  5. This is stupid... of course Halo 5 is going to be a Halo game. If it weren't then it wouldn't be called HALO 5.
  6. You do know that you cannot have sniper, SAW, or Scattershot in loadouts right?
  7. Well elite's work because their size and shape was close if not nearly the same as a Spartans. For this sole reason I do not think that playable Prometheans would work very well.
  8. Well they seem to be doing a fantastic job of developing Jul 'Mdama as the antagonist for Halo 5. He's evil, he's driven, he's fanatical. He could fit very well in Halo 5's storyline. Then there is also the off chance that the Didact is not fully gone yet. I kind of expect the Didact's return as I can't imagine us killing the most epic and influential Villian in ever the Halo franchise with such a trivial quick time event.
  9. Welcome to the forums
  10. I can attest to the the grenades in the doorway thing. Sometimes in Oddball I'm going to try and kill the ball carrier and the opposing team throws an unbelieveable amount of grenades to cover the entryway. I find it best to just wait until they are all done exploding by at least a good 2 seconds.
  11. Interestingly enough the Thruster Pack is far FAR more useful foing stuff that I don't think it was designed for. As an armor ability it is all right (nothing special) but if you can get good at all the trick jumps then it can be used to move about the map in a way similar to the Jetpack. Though I still find the Jetpack to be superior in this regard, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0mnIuNlMWk http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HE1yvuPwUHM

  13. If this is correct then goodbye arch and thanks for all of the great news. Keep in mind that these forums are not so easy to resist. I know I couldn't do it.
  14. You'd be surprised. If anything I think that the release of the next generation Xbox should make technological advancements sufficient enough to handle it in future Halos.
  15. It'd be pretty unobservant if you came to any conclusion that doesn't involve a long and prosperous lifespan for Halo. A very large part of the population LOVES Halo 4 and it is doing very well considering it's battling CoD and many other major titles.
  16. Valhalla was a huge fan favorite. While everyone would like to see the Pit return can you imagine playing on Guardian with the new game-play settings and mechanics. The entire map would be covered with explosions and insta-spawn would wreck any competitive atmosphere that it might have had. No not many faithful remakes could have probably been successfully done after 343i implemented their new game mechanics. We can be glad that one of the ones that would work was a popular map from the past. Even though it's not my favorite map (some members of the forum may have heard me bash it before) in the end I do enjoy the game-play on it and am glad that they remade it so faithfully for Halo 4.
  17. and the ones that do have mics tend to be ten year old kids that sound like girls (no offense 10 year olds)
  18. Well it's not super duper top ten plays of the week amazing... but how many tank drivers are capable of doing this on Exile. The tank isn't that powerful on Exile.
