Hey all, we're starting to get the gears turning for the plan to make this place lively again. That's why I was elected as the site's Donald Trump so we can "Make 343i.org Great Again." With that being said, here's the first of many beneficial changes being made on-site. For his unwavering dedication to the site, I'm proud to announce Keko as our newest C-Mod. No wait... There were some good aspects to the campaign of Halo 5 but I have to disagree with you on this being the best campaign. I really think that this campaign was disappointing in gameplay and narrative. You bring up good points but the lack of character development, real danger, and the absolutely poor mishandling of Cortana has led my ultimate disdain for it.

I think it has an autosave feature for co-op checkpoints. You may not have had to get rid of the game... Not entirely sure about that though.

Halo can recover if 343 goes back to the game's roots. Call of Duty just did it and I have friends who haven't touched an Xbox since MW2 was still popular telling me they might get back into it because of this game. The community is so divided though it's a mess. A lot of people love the new evolved style of play with Sprint and Spartan Abilities and more like the classic gameplay but not by enough otherwise 343 would've done it already. They've been put in a horrible position by the community and the only way to get out is to cater to one side (which is going to hurt a lot for whichever side loses in the future). I love Halo 5 honestly but I think people would return and numbers would grow if they just took a step backward gameplay-wise and give it a great run and gun campaign.

I don't think it's ever coming back with 343's full focus being on Halo Wars 2 DLC and the next title. I think any maintenance on MCC or backwards compatible games is out of the question unfortunately

I think it's going to be a lobby system where open lobbies will appear when you choose a map and gametype and you can choose which to join.

There is no date for a public beta yet.

They can implement Team BRs if they find it to be in high demand. Right now it's just classic slayer with AR Magnum starts and default weapons on the map. I have yet to see any crouching involved in gameplay. No public list of maps and weapons yet. Not sure what the server tick rate is. In terms of matchmaking, I'm not sure if that's a thing yet. I believe matches will be hosted at first kind of like the original Gears lobbies. No to recon but yes to girlfriends. @@Church and @@TheChunkierBean can answer these better for you.

No estimated release date yet. There will be playable Elites if that counts! Campaign is possible but that is not the team's main focus. There will be no hit markers but they can do that if they wanted to. I have yet to see any powerups, just weapons so far.

The UNSC would not have had a chance going up against the full force of a unified Covenant. Not only was there the Great Schism but the Covenant was also fighting the Banished during the long war. The Infinity, big and mighty as she is, isn't even enough to destroy a former full Covenant on her own. Let's just say Master Chief's luck worked for many more than just him during the war.

Hello everyone. A couple of weeks ago, some great minds (not the greatest) in the Halo Community that are well versed in the extended universe came together to talk about said universe in general and sort of provide a podcast for listeners to catch up on the current timeline of the Halo franchise. In attendance were myself on behalf of our lovely site 343iCF, VinWarrior of Halo Team Assemble, Adv Jones with the Halo Archive, HaruspexOfHell from Progressive Halo, and Toa_Freak AKA Halo Canon. We talk about the current extended universe entries along with the games' main story lines and bring anyone who hasn't read or played up to speed.
