  4. I've just lost days upon days worth of work because of idiots who run paid hosting thinking they can get away with anything. Minimum recovery fee = $50 = BS

They said mine and Twinreaper's CGI was impacting other user's but we checked the logs and there was no CGI usage, so they cancelled our account and we lost everything.

  5. Did you know that until I pointed it out, the Forum Rules had a typo which rendered the whole set of rules useless - at the beginning it said, instead of what it is now, which is: "343industries" means all of the services that 343industries.org offers on the 343industries Web Sit It said somethng like: "343indsetries" means all of the services that 343industries.org offers on the 343indstries Web Sit
  6. Don't know how I made this list since I haven't been online basically for a week since I've been on holiday But it's nice all the same
  7. Here's one for you.... Three wise men are told to stand in a straight line, one in front of the other. A hat is put on each of their heads. They are told that each of these hats was selected from a group of five hats: two black hats and three white hats. The first man, standing at the front of the line, can’t see either of the men behind him or their hats. The second man, in the middle, can see only the first man and his hat. The last man, at the rear, can see both other men and their hats. None of the men can see the hat on his own head. They are asked to deduce its color. Some time goes by as the wise men ponder the puzzle in silence. Finally the first one, at the front of the line, makes an announcement: “My hat is white.” He is correct. How did he come to this conclusion?
  8. There used to be. Well done Donut! I'm sure the forum wouldn't be the same if you weren't here! I remember when I used to ask you to render out all those clips for me, and you were always happy to help! You're a great member, so keep going
  9. That's great to hear! I was really upset to learn that you had gone down, especially after we solved our differences. I love checking your news and in the past few days it had in fact been my primary source for news. I hate people who do this. They must really have no life if their sole, malicious intention is to make others lives a misery.
  10. Thank you. Hopefully I'll be able to offer some advice when I can.
  11. Do me proud guys, continue my legacy One thing to say: When going through channel submissions, this is what I used to do and is what works very very well. "Like" posts that contain videos I want to upload. Then contact that person and ask If I have permission to upload their video to the channel. This is the most important part: you must tell them that in order for their video to be uploaded they must set their video as unlisted. They must do this. Then use a high quality YouTube video downloader to download their video in HD. Again, upload it in HD. Give an appropriate title and description and tags and in the description say who submitted it and link back to the original channel. I made some playlists, so place it in the appropriate one or make a new one if there isn't a suitable one. Then you must, on the main channel, on "featured channels," place a link back to their channel. Hope that helped! Luke
  12. John, I can use XBL To talk via Messages.

  13. Did you know that the current theme is from finalprestige.net
  14. Did you know that this site used to run off phpbb until Twam took the plunge and forked out $170 for IPboard. Thanks The original phpbb forums can be found here: http://343industries.org/forum1/
  15. It doesn't take "Code." It takes a whole install of images, new php codes, etc, as well as making sure the current mods installed (eg shoutbox) are compatible. You don't write the code for a theme unless you're creating a whole new one. Twam didn't create this theme. As I said in my previous post, it's from finalprestige.net. For the logo, he can simply overwrite the original logo, you don't actually need to change any code, unless the size is different in which case you would have to go into the imageset config file and change two numbers.
  16. Clearly you haven't had much experience with forums. That isn't HTML code. That's PHP - the script behind forums. In order to change the theme, either Twam will have to find a new style, or go within this one and change all the graphics and CSS - which is a lot of work and tricky to get right. The current skin is from FinalPrestige.net, and currently I think there's no need.
