Undead
I'm not sure if this has already been talked about, but the new OXM article states that currently, "HUD Markers let you know where the power weapons are on the map. We saw prompts for a shotgun and rocket launcher." What are you views on this. I think this will make the game much more intense and fast paced.
a live dinosaur
This is perfect news. Good job on the find every piece of news like this makes me die for Halo 4.
Spyro
Personally I think this takes that feeling of finding a powerhouse weapon on the map away. If this is true I will miss that feeling very much.
Minuette
Cool find, I could never get my hand on Power weapons anyways, but I've played halo long enough to learn that power weapons have weaknesses, then I enventually win

Panda
Personally I think this takes that feeling of finding a powerhouse weapon on the map away. If this is true I will miss that feeling very much. Once you get to know the map you know where the weapons spawn anyway.
VivaLebowski
I'm non-commital on this. Map control and weapon spawns have always been such a big part of the game...this is maybe the biggest thing thats gonna change how Halo plays.
Undead
Here's the link to the article: http://halocouncil.c...otes-Break-Down Here's someone talking about a list of things in Halo 4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=0-RgSR-klWE
Fayterinho
Will make the multi-kills a bit easier to achieve at least, whilst everyone running for the power weapons you just kick back and wait for everyone to get within the vicinity of it and arm a grenade or two in there and BOOM! Overkill
DerpWithAGun
This is awesome news! I love how 343i is taking this! Because the indicator for let's say a rocket launcher shows up on your HUD EVERYONE in the game now knows where it is so that will draw all the battle and competitvness to that area where everyone will fight for that power weapon! I like this!
fzdw11
I'm up in the air on this. Like Viva said, power weapon spawns and weapon placement have been such a huge factor in the game, this is definitely going to change how the game is played. But, with the random weapon drops, maybe it will be okay. I dunno. I reserve my right to wait and see how it's going to be used.
DoctorB77
Yes. in a spark cast they said that it will give you a marker on where the drop is going to and then tell you what weapon it is and whether or not it is there. If someone takes it the icon will disappear.
Archangel Tyrael
Well it is good and bad. Keeps people from camping certain spots, while makes people rush for power weapons and hold that location. I am uncertain on how this will play out. Krinn3
I think it will be awkward at first, and some people will get frustrating. But it does seem like an idea that could very easily just integrate into the gameplay and then we'll look back at old Halo games and ask "Wait, it DOESNT tell you where the power weapons spawn?!" I think it'll just take getting used to.
