Non-Ordnance- 2 Sniper Rifles on either spawn sides, 2 shotguns on either side, two saws on either side, Rocket launch, sword and rail gun all in neutral locations.

Vehicles- Mongoose, Ghost, one for each side.


Description- An old dessert fort, located in space why not. This fort was meant for a siege, a 13 day one to be exact. Inspired by the Alamo this map offers great range and game play for slayer and extraction. All the housing, barracks, prison and what not are located toward the edge outer wall just like the original Alamo. I placed a neutral middle location to act as the "fire pit," and cover all over the place so it's not a death trap. Also i put two gauss warthogs locked into place, one in the chapel of the Alamo, and one on the outer ring to act like "cannons" for the siege. 


Map Intel- Rocket launcher located on the top of the middle teal core. Rail Gun on top of the red building or "hospital". Sword is located in the side door of the "chapel" or the brown building.

Description: This 4v4 infinity slayer map called paradise is a true paradise to fight in, with the use of the incredible location where its forged and in combination with the placed rocks and coloring of the objects, the map also looks like a tropical paradise, NOTE: cuz this has been forged for the THFE i've placed an smeef easter egg, where? im not telling but ill give u an tip: its somewhere on the side :)

i am proud to put this map on my name, not because it plays well but beacause it is unique and it doesnt looks like any other 4v4 map :)

Hey, guys. I just wanted to share my new map, Bridge Out. It is an asymmetrical, small size map,


based off of many classic Halo maps. Admittedly, this map was originally tailored for Team Doubles,


but a 4v4 Infinity Slayer match on this map is actually rather fun, and does feel quite welcoming. In


almost all of the tests performed on this map, the testers would actually refer to this map as feeling


like something out of Halo 3, specifically, Guardian, Blackout, The Pit, Foundry, and Rat's Nest. I


have gotten nothing but positive feedback on this map, which is good, considering I have put over 6


hours of building time, and over 12 hours of editing/tweaking/aesthetic implementation time into this


map. I am extremely "anal" about clean forging, and it DOES show on this map. In the rough 12


hours I have put into tweaking this map, I have made it perfect. The forging is completely clean, and


there are NO places to get stuck on (one of my largest "pet-peeves..."). The map, and gameplay


are smooth, and are VERY reminiscent of the classic Halo's, and it has it's own skybox... Kind of... The


map was also built with heavy aesthetics, and verticality in mind. There are roughly 4 "floors" on this


map, and almost everything is interconnected, to provide a different feeling of gameplay than what has


been provided in Halo 4 thus far, or at least in my opinion anyway... :) I also made sure to incorporate


risk vs. reward on this map. There are power weapons, but all are extremely balanced, and spread out.


Power weapons include: sniper rifle, spartan laser, energy sword, and sticky detonator; All are on


random ordinance drops! I would also like to thank The Halo Forge Epidemic, and 343 Industries for


giving the community a chance to showcase their work! I also want to apologize for the rather long

I started this map on December 6, 2012, and finished it on March 8, 2013. There are NO framerate,


or lighting problems.

Description: A symmetrical map that has been designed around keeping players away from the high ground. The low ground has a lot of cover and many jump up positions to reach other areas. This map is in the plaza of several larger buildings.
Map Intel: I have tried to make sure that the player will not run out of basic weapon ammo by providing an ar, br and carbine for each side. There is a neutral sticky detonator and a neutral gravity hammer with frag and plasma grenades on each side. There are also neutral pulse grenades. The many tactical jumps allow for you to traverse the map on multiple levels without the need of a jetpack. The jetpack is also debuffed by a trait zone above the map that disables movement and armour abilities and increases gravity to stop players escaping.

Budget: 3885

Includes teleporters made to look like the teleporters from halo ce, a crane which lifts a container containing a warthog, a banshee flying over the map every 90 second which I managed to do using the grav zones and much more ;)

Map Description: ONI scientists report that the black project conducted at ONI Black Site SERIN has unearthed a Precursor artifact. Black Site is an inverse symmetrical 2-sided map designed at its core for CTF. I set out from day one of this project to create a flag map that rivaled The Pit from Halo 3 in competitiveness, intensity and flow. Standoffs on Black Site never resort to camping due to the map's continous movement influence. Slayer on Black Site is competitive, fast paced, and truly leaves the better man standing.

Initial Notes:

I'd like to start out by saying that I appreciate the competition that has showed up for this contest.  I've kept an eye on the submissions over the last month and many are proof that it's going to be tough to rise above the rest.  I've seen some great looking maps that can tear away at a Forger's confidence, so thanks a lot ya' jerks!  I hope that I have what it takes to be amongst the best in the group here, and if not, I expect to gather necessary feedback to prepare me for future creations.  At the end of the day, Happy Forging!



"In order to keep an eye on the Covenant, the UNSC commissioned the construction of this isolated observatory."


- I originally sought out to create a map with central action, that played a bit open, in order to keep running into the main space a bit risky.  I think that I've achieved that goal, while still offering the chance for a last minute escape.  The other goal that I had for gameplay was to have several "Halls", for tight long shot battles, where it was less risky to travel in groups.  These halls evolved over time and changed drastically from the first pass, which I believe improved the overall experience.  If I make the cut, I'll go into more elaboration on this starting point and inspiration.


- Most importantly for me is creating theme and atmosphere in my maps.  There are some amazing Forged maps out there, based on layout alone.  I see so many of these that are a bunch of fun to play, but eventually end up blending into a general memory pile for me.  Not all of my past maps have been based on a particular theme, but my now-ongoing mission statement has evolved into always attempting to infuse a visual theme.  With this map, I focused my efforts on creating an "Observatory" that featured a large central room with two layers.  Each team's side was given a particular focus towards material handling or facility controls.  Unfortunately, the down side of adding details to a complex map becomes giving up beautiful aesthetic work for the sake of spawning, cover, zones, etc.  It broke my heart to tear out a bunch of additional aesthetic detail built into the map.  What's left is the bare bones of what was originally intended.  Ultimately, visuals must suffer for the sake of gameplay.  I'm quite sure that you'll still get the idea though.

Description: The map is a mostly symmetrical, multi-tiered arena that allows quick access to each of its 3 floors from anywhere on the map. This makes it fairly unique, as players are constantly funneled into the different floors via the level design/power weapon placement, and the map is taller than it is wide. Also, it's a lot of fun :)
