Hello 343iCF,

 

I'm here today to make my Dedicated Members thread, because I've finally reached the point where I have hit this wonderfully prestigious position. I've read quite a few other topic threads like this, where I've always though "man... I can't wait until I hit this" and now that I finally have, I can honestly say that I'm filled with joy. My time here has been great and the people overall have just been amazing. Today, on this occasion, I thought to take the time to quickly go over all the important stuff that I have gotten into while here, and give a few shout-outs to my fellow players.

 

First of all, the fact that I just got my 500th post means a lot to me. It represents (atleast in my opinion) my own little mark that I've left on this forum and I've got to say that the journey's been great. As for my shout-outs, I guess I'm going to have to name a few players who were really cool to talk with here on the forums. First, I want to thank DoctorB77. He was the first member whom I really spoke to and got to have feedback on my posts and maps, which was something I appreciated. Next, I wanted to thank the Director, whom I had a lot of fun with in the "Ask the Director" thread - and yes, after being defeated repeatedly for a while, I finally managed to nab myself a "Vitamin P" award, for which I am very grateful. Then, I want to thank both TOMLIDS and PyschoDuck for speaking with me on the forum on a few occasions and for adding me on Live, where we've gotten the chance to play for a while, which was great! Before last, I'm going to thank Ironsignia, for making me a spectacular signature and being so nice about it! Last of all, I guess I'll thank all of the people who I added on my friends list and who have been supportive throughout my Forge Maps posts; Almighty Tallest Purple, Berb, COL0NEL SANDERS, Chewin3, Erco 'Zjadee, Gangus Khan III, Oakley HiDef, REMkings, SweepsP2K, TOMLDS, adamj004, cra****111, haloman 2 and sheesh1991.

 

To do a quick follow-up on the mention of my Forge Maps, here's a list of all the links to these maps. (Please keep in mind, not all of them are posted on this forum - I only chose to share those that I think were the best). Please feel free to leave me a comment on any of them if you like the maps!

Lastly, I just wanted to let you all know that the Youtube channel that I have started with a few friends is now official "open"! We've been doing prep-work for a long time, but are finally posting our vids and hope to do so for a while. To start off we're going to be doing a Halo Reach Forge Maps Re-cap, which should include about 13 maps, so if you like what you see, please come over and subscribe to us to keep track with all of our new posts. (Each subscription really helps) In the future, we're going to be expanding our cast, and also expanding the amount of games we will be posting about (for example, on it's release, I will be posting Assassin's Creed 3 videos). Well, that should pretty much wrap everything up for me. For those of you who've seen me on the forums before, I imagine that you're not too surprised with my long posts, but for the others' who are checking me out for the first time, I apologise if I tend to overwrite, I just love sharing all of my thoughts! I look forward to seeing you all around the forums in the future, and hopefully, I will be able to secure my long-awaited title that I've had in mind. We'll just have to wait and see...

Nice work man. We came in about the same time and it seems as though we have both staying pretty well emerged in the forums here. It has been nice to have someone else come in completely new to talk to and now to have grown up in the forums.

 

I am impressed with how quickly your Youtube channel has come together and so well done. On the forge map over views I would just have one suggestion. If you made them a little bit shorter. Just showing the general basis of the map and an overview. That is my opinion. Just because some people might just want a quick here it is this is how it works. Regardless I watched the whole video. lol.

Awesome. I love when new people start youtube channels. Because youtube is a great place. It is a very hard place to get things started if you don't have to time or equipment. So be glad that you have those things and friends that are willing to go into this with you you. seriously awesome.

I must agree that it's hard to get started, and we've only done so after quite a bit of effort, but now we're ready and we can't wait to pick up the pace with everything! Please subscribe to us if you like what you've seen (we now have 4 forge maps up).
