  1. HMV UK doing a in-store only deal on the Locus and avatar suit. Read below for more details From: http://www.littleenglishhaloblog.com/ By: FlawlessCowboy HMV are offering the Locus Helmet and Spartan IV Avatar Suit with pre-orders of Halo 4. It's interesting that the leaflet suggests it's the Helmet that comes with the pre-order and not just the skin. This promotion isn't mentioned anywhere on HMV's website so might just be an in-store deal. Big thanks to Dust and Echoes for the tip!
  2. Another price cut has been made on the Xbox One. On Amazon UK the Xbox One bundled with a digital copy of Titanfall is now down to £349, the same price as the PS4. The price has dropped a huge £50 in just over a month when Microsoft originally cut the cost from its original price of £429 down to £399 for the launch of Titanfall. But customers can now get their hands on an Xbox One with the game for £30 cheaper which now works out at £80 cheaper than what it was for the console alone at launch back in November. This may leave some Xbox One users a bit unhappy since they have paid more for a console at launch when it would then go down in price dramatically only within months. This is the very reason why it's better to wait rather than buying at launch if you don't want miss out on cheaper deals. So what do you think about the latest price cut, would you pick up the Xbox One for £349 if you haven't already? Source: Amazon

  5. Source-IGN The Xbox 360 is the best-selling console of this generation in the UK, with 8.4 million sold. MCV reports that Microsoft's console is regularly outselling all its rivals and will overtake Nintendo's Wii in a matter of days, according to Chart-Track. Despite this, the Xbox 360 isn't the UK's best-selling console of all time just yet, that title is still held by the PlayStation 2 which has shifted over 10 million units since it was launched back in 2000.

  8. Hello all, I'm a 'casual' gamer who enjoys playing team based modes. Most of my RL friends have given up this FPS lark so I'm often playing solo or wishing I was when teamed up with tweenies with mics. If there's anyone else who plays UK evening time who'd like to party up and grab flags, fondle balls etc then let me know. I'm pretty easy going however the ability to put together a sentence including real words would be a welcome novelty.
  9. Hi. I need some advice on which route to take to be able to play the future map packs because I don't want to waste money of course. I have two options....I am in the UK on an NTSC console and I have both an xbox live gamertag set up in Canada and one in the UK, however I play mainly on the Canadian one because I am moving back soon. Should I buy points for the UK account , download the maps, and then transfer to the Canadian account? Would that even work? Or vice versa can I just buy the maps on the Canadian account using a points card? Does anybody have experience with this? I would love to know which way works if any, thanks.

  15. LittleEnglishBlog has found this "Game Fuel" Mountain Dew in his local corner-shop. I can't wait to try some of this! Looks good, if anyone has any information about other locations available besides the UK bring it forward. Read below fore more details From: http://www.littleenglishhaloblog.com/ By: FlawlessCowboy I just found this on sale in my local corner shop: Unlike the green bottles of Halo 4 branded Mountain Dew Energy that have in shops for a few weeks now, this one is actually branded "Game Fuel". Tastes like regular Mountain Dew Energy, but with a hint of cherry. It's good! Still can't enter the Halo 4 competition until the 24th September though.

  18. Why i ask is by the looks of it MLG it will slowly be pushed aside and looked at a main stream within the US and not Europe going forward! Here in the Uk & Europe there are many competitive leagues making it big within time that H4 comes out and i was wondering what they plan on doing. One of them being Multiplay which is a HUGE game festival here in the Uk and the other one being EGL ( European Gaming League ) which they due to have a few events this year. Thought Instead of having a MLG playlist they could look at bringing a competitive playlist out run similar to the way they run MLG if not better..... not saying i dont want MLG there at all but seeing there's more competitive sites nowadays and the community speaks out to them if they want changes anyway, which of course is reviewed them implemented if agreed but just thinking of other ways 343 and H4 could do to make it fair on others.... again just an opinion thats all so what do you think? and why....
