  1. Does anyone still play MarioKart Wii online? I would love to play with you guys! Post your friendcodes here. I will post mine shortly. Lets go racing! "Do a barrel roll!"
  2. Nintendo's Wi-Fi service will be no more after May 20th. This news was announced in an Australian press release and was later confirmed by a Nintendo representative to be worldwide termination of the service. Although you will no longer be able to race world wide in Mario Kart, or see someone's village who is far away in Animal Crossing, Nintendo will still allow access to both the Wii's Shop Channel and the DSi Shop. So you will still be able to purchase and download digital titles following May 20. Nintendo also released, on their Australian website, a list of Nintendo published games that will no longer have online access enabled. Also note that 3DS and Wii U games will be unaffected by this. So was it time for Nintendo to close the door on the Wii and DS's Wi-fi services? Will this encourage you to now buy a Wii U or a 3DS? Leave your thoughts in the comments below. SOURCE: IGN

MCV reports that Microsoft's console is regularly outselling all its rivals and will overtake Nintendo's Wii in a matter of days, according to Chart-Track. Despite this, the Xbox 360 isn't the UK's best-selling console of all time just yet, that title is still held by the PlayStation 2 which has shifted over 10 million units since it was launched back in 2000.

  7. Source-NeoSeeker Starting on March 22, the UK can look forward to the availability of the Wii Mini Previously exclusive to Canada, the Wii Mini drops the console's online capabilities in favor or a tiny, relatively inexpensive alternative to the 2013's wave of next-gen consoles. In addition, Nintendo is adding four new games to its affordable Nintendo Select lineup: Super Paper Mario, Mario Party 8, Mario Power Tennis and Wii Sports Resort. Did I mention the Wii Mini was red? It also has a black matte top and loads discs from the top. Oh, and it will come with a red Wiimote Plus and nunchuck. Umm, it doesn't have online capabilities. I said that already? Ah, well. I believe it's only $99 in Canada.

  9. I'm kind of in a tie with World Of Warcraft and Halo 2.
  10. The current video game console generation is entering is nearing its end, and with that inevitability with the unceasing rumors of what each company's next hardware will be capable of, Nintendo has already shown its hand by unveling the Wii U, and now some 'tasty tidbits' (XD) are beginning to surface regarding the next Xbox from Microsoft. Nicknamed the Xbox 720, some new, well-sourced rumors have suggested that it will be six times as powerful as the current Xbox. :unworthy: The Xbox 360 is no slouch, and still hosts some of the most popular games, but the hardware is approaching its 6th birthday and some serious advancements have been made in the world of graphic processing in the last half decade. The new Xbox will reportedly run on a derivative of the AMD's 6670 graphics chip, which supports 1080p HD, 3D, and linking to multiple external displays. Compared to the Wii U, the Xbox 720 should be roughly 20% more powerful, though the stats of the two systems are said to be close enough that their audiences may not even notice a difference. Like Microsoft, Sony has yet to officially reveal anything about its followup to the Playstation 3, but based on their console release history, a new machine is surely in the works. Where the PlayStation 4 will stack up in comparison to the new systems by Nintendo and Microsoft is anyone's guess.
