I purchased the DLC map packs a few days ago and noticed that the game itself does not acknowledge that I have downloaded them. They show up in custom games but not for match making. I contacted Microsoft and they directed me here. Any help would be appreciated.

Why fragment the online community by selling map packs? Giving them free would ensure longevity .I bought Halo4 for 4vs4 Team Slayer and now cant access it because I dont have the maps.Im sure if you had a promotion where you gave the maps free there would be a huge increase in online matchmaking.The dlc should be singleplayer content.Halo Reach has more players because their matchmaking doesnt take entire game modes away.It simply removes the dlc maps from the playlist when someone in the lobby doesnt have that content.

I cannot believe it's legal to sell map packs you basically can't choose to play. Each map pack should have it's own playlist so you can actually play what you've paid for! I played all afternoon and NO DLC maps came up at all. The only thing new was a bunch of really crappy communtiy forge maps that look rubbish and play badly. Having to wait for an entire lobby of people with the DLC is not only very unlikely but completely unacceptable. On the off chance the DLC maps do come up, it foesnt mean it's even a game mode you would want to play either. Everybody involved in making it so you can't choose to play content you've paid for should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves. I'll join one of the numerous boosting sessions being held, get the poorly thought out achievements out of the way and ditch the Halo universe for good. 343 had a chance to turn around this same mistake made previously but have just copied it instead.

The dates for the new map packs for halo 4 have been revealed, it was seen in an advert on a German Xbox dashboard. Crimson will be released on December 10th 2012. Majestic will be released on February 25th 2013 Castle will be released on April 1st 2013. Each of this map packs will contain 3 new maps. Hi. I need some advice on which route to take to be able to play the future map packs because I don't want to waste money of course. I have two options....I am in the UK on an NTSC console and I have both an xbox live gamertag set up in Canada and one in the UK, however I play mainly on the Canadian one because I am moving back soon. Should I buy points for the UK account , download the maps, and then transfer to the Canadian account? Would that even work? Or vice versa can I just buy the maps on the Canadian account using a points card? Does anybody have experience with this? I would love to know which way works if any, thanks.

Ok, so I got the limited and according to the descriptions I should get the map packs for the War Games after redeeming my code, which I've done. I redeemed the code but still no map packs, I got everything else though. Can someone please help me out?- 1 reply
