There should be a thread that gives screen shots of the different features in this site with an explanation of how they operate. One would be a shot of the "Start a Topic" screen that would list the variety of tools that can be used. Another the "Reply to Post" screen and what the selection stand for. This would also help greatly in the "Profile" area given all the different features. It may be possible to link it to the area where new members go to start an account, kinda like a required reading option for those who want to see it.

You are right Vit, TWAM does deserve some credit. Just because he is uber smart, at least with computers, and has dedicated his life, that is to say his "life" when he is not giving the Halo world what it truly needs, to saving orphaned puppies from animal shelters, there is no reason why we should not bow to his efforts. He truly is the "Man". He brought this site to us. He does not need us lowly forum members to sign his praise, his mother does that enough at cocktail parties. This is a true story. I was orphaned as a small boy, hoped a freighter to Europe and ran into the woods. A mother bear let me suckle from her as her own. Later, as I played and froliced with my bear brothers and sisters, my bear mother came upon his family and did in fact eat herself. 8.7 million copies sold worldwide and less than 100,000 playing it months after. That is not a good example to make for it staying on. Halo 2 sold just over 8 million. The point is, it is a loved and played game by it's current fans and deserves the right to stay online for the foreseeable future. When Halo CEA arrives it will bring with it more real maps that will renew or maintain interest in the game. When Halo 4 arrives it would most likely suck the life out of both Halo 3 and Reach. I have stated before that it would be nice to have all match making versions remade for live with the new engine Halo 4 will use, but that is just a dream. It would be nice to have them all available for play and I seriously doubt it would hurt H 4's numbers. It may even bring back some of the original players of the original games. If there are more current sales numbers available I apologize. I am not trying to mislead anyone.

This is the problem, I believe, with credit system in general. Instead of playing for a skilled rank players have become addicted to chasing credits and when the max out for the day they usually see no reason to play anymore that day. BirdieJuice makes that point for me. If there was no cap or a higher cap they would rank up so fast they would again loose interest in the game because they were maxed out. There has to be a system that reflects actual skill instead of playing time. When you soundly beat a 50 in H2 or H3, and weren't highly skilled, you could assume they had bought the account or were on their big brothers. Now when you beat an Reclaimer/Forerunner into the ground you beat an someone that never learned how to play the game. This resembles the beating of a social general that had a rank that truly never compared to the real rank of general earned overall or in ranked play. There has to be a completely new system in future games or something akin to previous ones. It will show that 343ind. has listened to the majority of the Halo fans give real meaning to the ranks we achieve. Sorry for getting just a bit off topic, but....... P.S.
