  1. ~Chapter 4: The flood~ A girl walked into the room where a boy sat in a wooden, she appeared to be a teenager in the under half. She approached the boy in a distinct manner, as not to make him think he was in any trouble. “Hey bud. Whatsup?” was all she said to start a conversation. “Well, I scored an 82 in range and a 43 in combat. Have to wait until tomorrow to go for other training course.” He replied. “Oh. I got an 86 in range and 48 in combat today.” The girl said, smiling at both of their progression. “Okay.” The boy said. There was a hint of depression in his voice this time. The girl thought it may have been her. “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to. I was just trying to start a conversation was all.” The girl said. Sorrow was in her voice, but it was more sympathetic than self shame of the topic. “If you want to leave, you may wish to do so. If not, that is fine. You may do as you please, I’m just going to sit here like always and wait until the next day. I have no friends and I have no family. ONI reports say my father was just enlisted into the UNSC, but I will never be able to get to see him face to face. Ever again because of this.” The boy had tears roll down his cheeks and towards his chin. Which then dripped off of his chin and onto his lap. “Look, I’m not going to leave you. I’m your friend. Alright? I like you out of everyone here. I have feelings for you. I don’t want you to think you’re lost.” The girl said, her voice trailed off with innocence on her breath. “It’s fine. I got this, alright? Just relax off me and cool down. Procedures are in four months. I want to get this done and I can’t do it without you. Recently I’ve been having moments where I can’t remember anything. As if I had amnesia. However, I remember them later. Just boldly. I’m not sure what to say about it. I just feel kinda weird you know?” The boy said, curiously and afraid. “Relax. You’re just being overworked with what’s coming up. Let’s just get back to training at midnight and we’ll be ready to go for the tests.” The girl said in a promising voice, as if to make the boy feel less stressed or whatever was going on about him. “Alright. Well, just leave me alone. I’m going to take a nap until a few hours before then. Come back if you even bother.” The boy said, he walked the girl out of the room and shut the door. He reached up to the top and swung the latch over, and locked it. --------------------------------- The Scorpion swung its barrel around the corner. Still nothing in site. Which was odd. Michael watched their three and nine. Bek had an eye on their six. The cave seemed to go on for quite a while. Green mist was in the air, everywhere to be precise. Yellow nests were clung to the wall. They moved as if they could breathe. Bek pulled up her magnum and shot one because it started to annoy her. A few flood spores fell out and scrambled around the room. Other than that, no other flood came into contact. “Michael, do you feel as if our every movement is being watched by someone. By something?” Joseph asked through the open hatch of the Scorpion. He kept watch at the ceiling. All that was there were some stalactites covered from the flood. “Nope. I just feel as if this is going to be an awesome adventure I get to spend with my best friends.” Michael said. He swung the flashlight over to the other side of the tank, he saw nothing still. “I feel as if we’re almost there. Like. I don’t see anywhere else to go. There’s a wall in front of us, this is a dead end.” Bek said. She was right, there was no where else to go. This was a dead end. Just a giant wall covered in flood tile. Joseph looked up at the wall. She was right. There was nothing here it was just a false route. He stopped the tank. “Michael and Bek, cover me. I’m going to get on a channel with Dexter to let him know this isn’t the right area. Then see what happens next.” Joseph reached over and turned on the radio. “Dexter, come in. Dexter, can you hear me?” There was nothing. A few minutes later, “Yes. I can hear you. Sorry about that. Was tracking to see where the signal was coming from. Anyways, what’s up?” Dexter put down his BLT Sandwich he grabbed for lunch. It was the first one he’s had in a long time. Boy, was it delicious. That bacon was just so fine and good. The right amount of grease and crisp. It was heaven for him. “We reached the end of the cave. There’s nothing in here. We haven’t seen anything, not even flood. I think the routes a fault. Must have been for Lan Chorus as well. What do you suggest?” Joseph looked up at the other two, they were on the lookout like he asked. Bek had the rocket launcher strapped to her back. “Well.” Dexter took a bite out of the sandwich. “Something happened with one of the other Pelicans. So the other team is going to investigate. However, just go ahead and regroup at the desert. Should be fine there. They’ll be back once they find out what’s wrong.” Dexter took another bite. He reached over and put the bacon he had on a tray and just put it in his mouth. “Oh, and take the tank with you too; if you can. Anyways, that’s about it. Have fun!” Dexter was off the radio. A loud scream erupted. Several loud screams erupted. “Oh no this isn’t good. We’ve been ambushed.” Joseph said as a flood combat form appeared up on the ledge in front of them. It pointed at them with it’s tentacle like fingers. Michael shot it down. Another scream erupted. “I think it’s time we punch it and get out of here!” Joseph said, he pushed on the pedals. The Scorpion moved as fast as he could push it. Flood tanks and combat forms appeared all around them. All they could do was fight their way out and hope they make it. Bek pulled up the rocket launcher and fire it at a flood carrier. It didn’t do much good, it exploded into a bunch of flood spores. Which then Michael took out for her. “Uh, I need to reload. Hold on a second.” Bek reached over and grabbed ammunition on the side of the tank. Joseph aimed the cannon at the tanks in front of them. They were basically hunters, just without their fuel rods. Their tough like hide made up for the armor. Joseph fired and killed one of them. The other started to sprint at them, he took it out too. “Ah, there we go!” Bek said, she pulled up the rocket launcher. Which was a tad bit late on her part. A flood stalker ran up and jumped at her. Pinned her on the ground. “Bek!” Joseph yelled. He turned his cannon around. It was too late. A flood spore jumped on her face and crawled into her mouth. All was heard were groans and the sound of choking. Joseph couldn’t stop now, he moved forward. Michael watched as Bek’s legs kicked and she screamed. After a few seconds, the noise stopped and the flood pursued. One of them looked like a Spartan infection form. In Bek’s armor. Michael shot it down along with the others. Joseph approached the exit where the stalactites hung from the entrance. He moved the cannon up and shot them as they just drove under. They fell down and destroyed any flood forms there. “Well, entrance is closed. Not long before more show up. Come on. Let’s go, into the Pelican!” Joseph said. He got the flight controls while Michael got the Scorpion on attached. “We might wanna go. They’re here!” Michael yelled. Flood forms of all type crawled at them from every direction. “Just a second.” Joseph got the systems online and functional. He slammed the thrusters and took off for the new waypoint. “Whew. That was a close one. Thought we weren’t going to make it.” Michael said. He crashed into the copilots seat. Tired as he was, he decided to rest. “Not all of us, just half.” Joseph said, then pushed forward. The ETA clock suggested three hours until arrival at the desert. ~End of Chapter 4~
  2. That said, there are plenty of theory comments on YouTube. I'm just saying HaloFollower isn't someone to rely on. Here's a few for show: I'm fairly certain these trailers are entirely symbolic, and not depicting of an actual event in the game at all. The fact that the statue is in both trailers (although worse for wear in Chief's) and the fact that it's essentially the same situation but flipped in both trailers, both indicate symbolism. The dialogues confirm it in my mind. The statue is symbolic of chief and his status as the savior of humanity. Chief's trailer shows a broken statue because, as they pointed out, Cortana is missing, and when you acknowledge the broken visor, cloak, and empty Cortana chip of the other E3 trailer, it seems pretty obvious that Chief is a fugitive from ONI for some reason (searching for Cortana a strong possibility) and Locke is hunting him. Locke in his dialogue here says he wants Chief's legacy to be what he was, and that somehow he has changed and Locke holds him responsible for whatever conflicts are now happening. Chief likewise acknowledges that he is but a shell of what he once was, but he holds Locke responsible for whatever is happening because he is interfering with Chiefs mission related to him being a fugitive. Thus, the truth of who is right and who is wrong is hidden in a moral grey, and I imagine both will have good and bad characteristics throughout the campaign that cause people to take sides. But I don't expect one or the other to literally kill the other the way this scene is portrayed, unless in fact the campaign does involve choices and different endings. Then there's these comments: I think the motion trackers have something to do with the meaning of the trailer. Locke's tracker doesn't pick up Chief, yet Chief's clearly picks up Locke. I'd like to think that's a subtle way of saying Locke is hunting for a traitor in the Master Chief that doesn't exist. Like.. his mission was based on a lie. Could be pulling that conclusion out of nothing but I'd like to think 343 has some form of subtlety.
  3. HaloFollower isn't such a good source for lore. Just going to put that out there.
  4. Not buying it. I've probably already got a bounty placed on my head. Yer all fools anyways.
  5. Maybe the use of 3 hosts is to subsequent their AFK and work it out.
  6. Yes. A 25 page PM that's completely 100% professional business. (Runs out to be 500 Posts and then some total)
  7. Why put Spyro up there? Why not Cynder? She's so much better than him! Jokes aside, congratulations everyone that didn't make it. You're not on the hit-list unlike us. HUZZAH!!!
  8. I'll have you know the General is more superior than Yoshi and should be voted as the next president.
  9. You need a post count of 5. However, if you're going to chat to join a clan. That's not the best of ideas. Head over to the Clan Recruitment/Advertising section if you wish to so join one.
  10. That sounds like your Xbox's problem. Not the disc. You said "My game itself has a loud noise." So you might wanna check out your Xbox and not your disc. Or both.
  11. I said this once. I'll say it again. So it came to my attention, I decided to put everything together and find out why Chief went what you all call, "Rogue." Why is Locke getting involved with a squadron with three others? Well the answer is simple, yet complicated to put together. Master Chief is not looking for Cortana in H5, he's looking for better things first. Locke is after him, he wants it. Chief wants to get something so Legendary, that it's simple. He want's Reckonz... He went off on his own to obtain the armor, something the UNSC or ONI have yet to do on their own. They have simulations in War Games where it's obtainable, but that's just simulation. Chief thinks he has found it. What appeared in this trailer to what everyone thought was a War Sphinx or something Forerunner? That was the Guardian who held the sacred Recon armor Chief wanted so badly for himself. He found it first, before anyone else. Which is where Locke comes in. Locke wants it, too. His job is to stop the Chief. Which it looks like he has failed. Chief has found it and stored the armor in a backpack. Which you can see him carrying in the teasers and other trailers. Locke throws down his DMR, because he needs room on his back to carry the Backpack. Whereas chief didn't. Because he was taller and had more leg room. The whole plot of H5G is about getting that Recon back for themselves. They both want it. That's what it's all about, the legendary Recon armor. With a flaming helmet. Stay tuned for more.

    Halo Wars 2?

Caboose, the flood have not been discovered yet. Captain Cutter encountered them before. However, they don't know what they're capable unlike the UNSC. So the return of the flood is possible.

    Halo Wars 2?

Nothing yet, although Spirit of Fire is still there. I believe they were mentioned in the books to be confirmed alive. Well, everyone except Forge. Also, it's Current Gen. Not Next Gen. If it's for retail, it's current.
  14. Just throwing this out there. 8-player campaign.
  15. Idk. Why would Buck be wearing ODST armor? If you watched the scenes, alongside Locke is four other spartans. All in the same armor has him. Their visors are different. Yet, Buck is on Locke's team. So that is definitely not Buck, unless if it's a reference to the fact Buck was an ODST before becoming a Spartan.
  16. Do you think there's a reason to why those spots are whited out? Because if that's just a poster, then why's it matter?
  17. Then to be thrown out of the city by your close friends and family into a desert? Thus having them taking your JET-Board? Yeah, no thanks. I don't wanna die.

  19. Game Reviews with Fishy Edition 1 Super Mario Sunshine Gameplay: 8/10 The gameplay was fun and doing so was quite a task. Each individual area had a total of up to 8 episodes for each "World" each containing a shines upon completion. However, there are a total of 10 shines per World. Some even have 11 shines. 1-2 of these are "Secret shines" which require you to replay missions that are a lot harder than previously or they're just randomly placed. The other shines require you to get 100 coins in said world. Just have to be careful not to get hurt and lose some! Campaign: 9/10 The campaign has a bunch of recurring characters throughout the Mario franchise, all on an Island known as Delfino Island. Some of these characters you find in the game are Petey Piranha and Gooper Blooper. Both bosses of their kind. Petey Prianha requires you to give him water poisoning, by filling him up with 25 gallons of water, then elbow dropping him in the stomach. The island itself is surrounded in Piantas and Nokis. (Nokis are a bit creepy with conversations.) However, the campaign features a mysterious enemy. Mario. Yes, Mario is our enemy in this game. However, when Mario goes to court. He is found guilty. This is very confusing at the time since Mario is being accused for what Mario did. Which it turns out 20 shines later, that this other "Mario" is actually Bowser Jr. he's here to kidnap Mama Peach. This is his first appearance in the entire franchise, and by doing so he has already proved to be more cunning than his father. Bowser. Your goal is to at least gather 7 shines from each individual world. From Bianco Hills to Sirena Beach. It's an endless play, and each level is harder than the last. With the 7th shine being you face Bowser Jr. every time. The game is quickly ended by a final battle of Mario versus Bowser and Bowser Jr. However, Mario wins. As usual. The game ends and Delfino Plaza has sunlight again. If you wish, you may go get all 120 shines! Leaving the plaza in a hot heat wave that's noticeable to the player. Customization: 8/10 There's really only 2 customization options. However, that's a lot for its time. The first one requires you to get 30 shines, and you can wear sunglasses. However, it doesn't do much at the time. Once the burning sunlight gets in, the sunglasses remove the heat wave that is emitted from the ground and dims the screen a little more. The second is a tropical shirt. Only obtainable by defeating Bowser. (Completing Campaign) It's a basic Hawaiian shirt, but implemented with Shines as decal. This shirt is only used as aesthetics. Quality: 8/10 For being on Nintendo Gamecube, the graphics are impressive and aren't an eyesore to today's generation. However, 480p isn't the best. It's still something to look at. Audio is amazing, music fits perfectly with the surroundings and encounters. Sound FX are also well done. However, everything is great, except the graphics. However, that doesn't impact the overall gameplay. Voice acting was well done too, for every character. Princess Peach and Bowser Jr. both were hands down best of all though. Mode: 9/10 The game is single player, however I prefer it that way. Multiplayer would look really weird, unless you mind playing as il Piantissimo. Oh how I would not like that. The dudes literally dressed up as a Pianta, and they all believe he's one of them! He's literally wearing a mask that looks like their head and gloves. Wearing a white muscle shirt. The characters in this game are really stupid. Therefore, single player is perfect. There's no limit on how many people can fit on the couch and watch you. So whoever's watching is good enough. Just make sure to punch them when they mock you for failing over and over. Glitches/Bugs: 5/10 This game literally has 77 glitches and bugs combined. Though, a few of them are actually fun to do. I mean, who doesn't like it when Yoshi messes up and instead of spitting juice, he's spitting Pianta's? However, most glitches are extremely rare to encounter, they exist. Some of the glitches are completely unnoticeable too, but they're just a programming failure. Like running with the R button held down, seems find to you but you're not supposed to be able to do that. Overall on a 60 point scale, I give the game 47 points. However, I highly recommend it for those of you who wish to play games for a storyline. This game needs to go in your category. That's all I have for this month guys. Thanks for reading!
  20. So I decided to play some old fashioned pong yesterday. (Just got it) The game is terrible. Not only does my joystick have a really touchy senititvity. But the paddle thing isn't even up to a centimeter long! I mean, come on! The balls bigger than my paddle. Which isn't a good thing. 2/10 Giving it 2 stars because I rage quit and walked away and came back to see I was beating the AI without having to do anything. So helped my win/loss ratio.
