  1. This is actually...very interesting. If you put me in, have me take the form of the Spartan in my av, or Optimus Prime (Well, Edward's clearly a character from something else, so...) depending on which would be more convenient for the story.
  2. Firefight, easily. Spartan Ops always bugged me with the whole infinite lives thing. If you can't lose, what's the risk? Not much point in trying, an idiot could win every Spartan Ops mission on Legendary if they played long enough. Plus the objectives were really...bland. And the missions themselves had nearly no story contribution. The videos were good, but the missions? Nope. The only parts of Spartan Ops that were really...cool...were that cutscene where the Hunter betrayed the Grunt, and that scripted breakout scene. Meanwhile Firefight has lives, so your actions matter, and not only does it demand teamwork by sending greater numbers of enemies (unless it's Score Attack, but I also love that because it allows you a chance to prove you're better at killing Covenant than your friends are) it also gives you the same pool of lives, so you have to cover each other and think strategically as well. Spartan Ops doesn't have so much as a Score Attack-ish setup, so the only possible reason to put in any effort at all is to beat your friends' scores during the session you're playing with them in.
  3. The last one, easily. The Broadsword part was by far the most fun thing in Halo 4 for me, and the rest was the most epic battle in the whole game. Plus the music in that part was great even though in most of the game it was so...bland...that I didn't notice those parts had music at all until my fifth time playing. Funny thing is I originally liked Halo 4's soundtrack as a whole simply because I only noticed the good parts.
  4. Judging by his mouth structure...I'd give him something that requires a spoon to be eaten. And laugh. and laugh. aaaand laugh. Then I'd give him pasta, he could probably suck the noodles in through his tiny mouth.
  5. Actually, Halo CE was my first Halo, and while I am a gameplay type of person, I knew nothing of Halo besides "Armored humans vs evil aliens" before I played it. I do lack a nostalgic feel for it, probably because I haven't been into Halo for as long as most people on this site have. Every plot twist still came to me as a surprise. I actually preferred the tone of the other Halos, Halo CE (at least to me) seemed to be simply following the trend of most old games with a serious tone, that trend being...general loneliness.
  6. 1. Halo Reach - Maybe not the most "epic" story, but still well done. Plus it had by far my favorite gameplay. A good challenging campaign, intense Firefight and multiplayer, and the best weapon variety I've seen in any game...ever. I actually liked Armor Abilities too. Plus the armor system was just pure awesome. 2. Halo 2 - No multiplayer, at least not anymore, but I've always been more of a campaign/co-op guy. And this was a great campaign. Tied for Halo 3 for best soundtrack, great story, and the biggest campaign challenge in any Halo game. I still had more fun with Reach on average, so that's why the second game is...second place. 3. Halo 3 - Most people say this game was too easy, but my play style puts it as a good challenge too. Its multiplayer was fun, but (takes cover) I actually prefer Reach's. Oh, and it had an extremely good story. 4. This spot is tied. Between Halo 4...and...Halo CE. Halo 4 had a great story in my opinion but the weapon variety was a joke, I didn't like a lot of the designs, and the campaign was too easy. Enemy AI was also mentally impaired. Halo CE, on the other hand...it may have been the game that started it all, but its atrocious physics, lack of weapons and characters, and poor enemy AI put it low on the list too. Plus both of these games' multiplayer was boring. I haven't played ODST, Wars, or Spartan Assault.
  7. Truth is now running for President.

  8. At first I didn't realize it either, but trying those combos out I noticed they were in fact overpowered. My stance on this is simple. Preset loadouts are good, customizable loadouts are bad. In a standard Slayer match the only loadout difference was AAs anyway.
  9. The only problem I saw in loadouts was how an overpowered combination could very easily be made. That, and how Tactical Packages and Support Upgrades took customization way too far, changing up base player traits. However I do like the preset loadouts and Armor Abilities. Those did, in fact, take skill to use and not die horribly afterward. I hear a lot of complaining about Armor Lock but that's because most people used it was a "free shield recharge while a teammate kills him for me" button instead of a "not allow myself to die simply because he was lucky enough to get a rocket launcher or throw a grenade when I'm already fighting someone else" button.
  10. They are secretly conspiring to implant 343ibot into a robotic body and use her to achieve control of the universe. We must prepare.
  11. The Grunt Riddle topic is inactive? Never saw that coming.

  12. Cortana in Halo 3, only level in any Halo where I came near to ragequitting. Not that I'm saying every level of every Halo is easy except that one, but that was still the hardest one for me. I'm just virtually immune to ragequits.
  13. Ouch. You must really hate him. I can't see why, I mean, I recently finished AC3 and didn't have a shred of hate for the guy. Anyway, hi. I see you're another Prime. THERE WILL ONLY BE ONE-- no, no, just kidding, I'm not Sentinel.
  14. Damn it, Ranger and Edward!

  15. Does anyone else here get irritated at the sight of all the locked statuses in the past few days?

  16. This guy this guy right here just won the first point. Congratulations, ShockGazm, and thanks everyone for many weeks of fun riddles. It was great. --- ShockGazm - 1
  17. An important character in one of the games. Oh, and... wrong.
  18. You guessed right. ...when you said "I guess this will be wrong"
  19. I would say he's an important character, yeah.
  20. No, he's a Halo character. In a game no less, you don't need to check the books for this.
  21. All right. The riddle is hard, vague, and not entirely literal, but the answer is by no means obscure.
