Voting -Try to determine the # of mafians voting (Take into account the absent players) -Try to determine the voting pattern of the mafians (using people you originally suspected will work nicely) -The mafians tend to vote the person with the most votes when the voting round ends. One mafian will straggle behind on another player indefinitely. -Many voting rounds are decided by the second wave of votes and revotes, meaning that the original person likely won't be killed. Most people are unsure about their first vote; mafians won't have this problem -- as you can notice -- so they'll be the ones creating 'arguments'. -Mafians fall into 3 categories: disinterested, play-it-safe, and highly involved. They're more polarized than the legions of pro-townians. -The mafians that are highly involved will make asinine claims with self-assurance. Pro-townians will make asinine claims because of a misunderstanding. -Mafians will be unusually friendly early in the game, so that's the best time to catch them. They have to make a conscious effort to tune this down. -Never say Never.

The newcomers joining was the only reason the mafians won, because the mafians got another mafian; the newcomers wouldn't have made a drastic difference with the voting since double-lynchings were impossible. The extra mafians threw off the remaining protownians -- possibly saving Self Destruct's life -- making it possible for 2 mafians to secure victory with an added note that Rhuuntington would die anyways. Case in point, the extra mafian's area of influence made the mafia greater than the sum of its parts: synergy.

(As far as I remember) When the newcomers came in there were 12 players including 3 mafians alive. 3 mafians to 9 protownians. When two newcomers joined, we then had 4 mafians and 10 protownians (because one of the protownians was chosen to be a mafian). Compare the ratios: 1/3 & 2/5 - One is 33% while the other is 40%. However you want to interpret this is up to you.

nah. I thought him being innocent was in my favor. It was only my job to keep myself from getting lynched before him, but the game became boring once he died.
