The Master Chief Collection was officially announced at E3 during Microsoft's Press Conference, here are the details: The Master Chief Collection will include Halo CE, Halo 2, Halo 3, and Halo 4. The game will be accessed by a master queue that will have all the levels from every campaign unlocked from the very start. There will be specific playlists for playing different levels in a variety of different ways. The Master Chief Collection's multiplayer will run at 1080p, 60 FPS, on dedicated servers. Every map from Halo CE to Halo 4 will be included. That's over 100 multiplayer maps! Along with 4,000 Gamerscore. 4. I actually really, really like the way this design would work. I felt like the Mantis was a bit dull, but this would be a great vehicle! It could be the UNSC's attempt at using Forerunner tech (such as particle beams, incineration cannons, hardlight) in a vehicle. I would also like to add that I think it should have variants, similar to how the wharthog has variants. There could be one that replaces the incineration cannon with a small boost similar to that of the wraith, and the other would have the incineration cannon but not the boost. Great post!
  5. This is really more of a spin-off installment, it's not acting as BF5. It is, in my opinion, a filler for EA to get bring in more cash while they work on BF5. Halo did this with Spartan Assault, ODST(This one's debatable), and Halo Wars. I find nothing wrong with it. If EA wants to release more titles, under the Cops and Robbers theme, I'd be happy to buy.
  6. I really like both, but the Rocket Launcher (in Halo 4 at least) feels really powerful. The two are very similar, but if I'm not mistaken, the launcher's projectile travels more quickly than that of the Fuel Rod's. My vote goes for the Rockets.
  7. It's actually 5 hours ahead of EST Really excited about this year's E3, I can't wait to see MS's and EA's press conferences. #haloandstarwarsbattlefrontwhat
  8. I'm pretty sure as a developer, that's what you're supposed to do. If you finally get your newest game the way you wanted it, you shift focus away from it to a new title. Battlefield Hardline has been in the making for the past two years, I don't understand why you have a problem with them releasing a new game.
  9. Ben 10. I absolutely loved Ben 10, with Alien Force being my favorite installment. I have a pretty large collection of the action figures still, 70+ of the 6' in. action figures last time I counted.
  10. Really hyped for this game, I will definitely be buying come this October. As far as how quickly it's being released, I like the theme too much to not consider it. I don't really think it will held back in many regards, if any. I'm really looking forward to this title. Great Article P34nut!
  11. EA's Sports games do this because of the way that the seasons are named. The season in the NFL and FIFA are named according to the year they end in, so Madden NFL '15 will feature players and stadiums used in the 2014-2015 season. The same rule applies with FIFA.
  12. As big a fan as I am of NFL football, I find the FIFA games very fun. I've yet to buy one, but ya never know... Great reporting P34nut, big news for FIFA fans no doubt
  13. SikSlik, I absolutely love this idea! I can't wait to begin work on this with the community, absolutely great, 10/10 Slik!
  14. Put me down for #7, I should be back in town in time for it.
  15. The BR is a great weapon, very, very versatile. It's extremely deadly at close range with its rapid rate of fire, 4-shot kill, and 2-shot pummel. The DMR is perfect for long range, and before the weapon update, it could pretty much hold its own in close range as well. I'm taking the BR over the DMR because I find myself in close range battles more often than not, and any skilled BR user will make quick work of a DMR user, making the BR a more favorable choice over the DMR.

  18. I'd say Infinity. That level was extremely difficult for me to beat on Legendary, especially when you have to hold the base. Other levels have their strongpoints, but I have a really vivid memory of replaying Infinity over, and over, and over again trying to defend the base from the Forerunner enemies.

  23. Halo has just announced a new partnership with Astro Gaming! 343industries has striked up a multi-year partnership with Astro Gaming. Astro Gaming creates various forms of video game equipment, most specifically headsets. Details of what type of Halo-related material Astro will be constructing has not yet been released, but we do have an official statement from 343 industries on the deal: "Today we are announcing a new partnership with ASTRO Gaming! I had the pleasure of wearing nearly every iteration of ASTRO products since the very first Limited Edition A40 headset, so it is with great excitement, and with an ASTRO headset on my head, that I bring you this wonderful news. I know I speak for many when I say that I cannot imagine a better or more organic headset partner for our brand. I'm super pumped about the new products that are on the way, and I am quite glad that we're finally taking our relationship to the next level." Astro Gaming VP of Marketing, Aron Drayer, said this about the deal: "Few game franchises have ever pushed the boundaries of our imagination quite like Halo. With its robust online multiplayer features, compelling storyline, incredibly detailed gameplay audio and inspiring musical score -- Halo delivers at every level" This partnership will bring about numerous new Halo gaming Headsets and accessories, all which will be announced at a latter date.
