Overview: Suggestions/specs: Playable for a 1v1 FFA match, 1v1 or 2v2 teams (compatible for red versus blue or for a different start using green versus gold) 1v1 is strongly suggested. Play tested using standard slayer Pro and with V3 team slayer. Highly recommend playing with 110% jump height, other conditions normal. Little useful feedback was found during play-testing, but the map is ready for some final tweaks. Description: Refuge is a small symmetrically turned 1v1 or 2v2 map that focuses on tactical jumps and continuous movement. There are two floors, with each having distinct bonuses to control. Team work is key, and control of the top does not give an unfair advantage. The bottom consists of many broken sightlines, and is a great way to transverse the map and get around your opponent, but is also a very playable section, and many conflicts erupt there. The top is more open, and more combat flows here. The sniper spawns in the middle of the map, on a jump from the bottom to the top. Teams rush here at the beginning of each match to gain an early advantage. On the sides of the map are pulse grenade spawns, which are very effective at redirecting map flow temporarily and is very effective at countering the sniper. It has been 1 year since I became a member of these forums. It was on this day, one year ago, that I was welcomed into the shoutbox by 343ibot, and greeted by a variety of members. The forum was much different then, a close knit group of friends, always in the shoutbox, always ready to help each other. But a new chapter began that month. AD left, taking a personal leave of absence, and many members were sad. I remember looking at his goodbye post and going , "Whoa, who is this guy? His must have been a giant!" But that was before I knew of Twam, who really is a giant. A new wave of members joined, in search of a Halo community following Halo 4. The older members remember the names: TsicksSense, Mr. Payne, Angel of Death, and a long list of others. The forum has been changing since that day, and that summer was a great time, despite SJ, Fire, and Archangel Tyreal, and other leaving. AD came back in July, and his work has been greatly appreciated by me since then. Many members have put effort into the forums, mainly displayed by the staff, but by others as well. Staff, thank you, you have kept this forum running, and make it a great place to be a part of the Halo community. I can't give out personal shout-outs except for 2,, otherwise my keyboard would be covered in the blood from my finger. 1. They will. They just released the final of the initial 3 map packs this week. (possibly more to come in the future). In a couple of weeks, the all DLC playlists will emerge.

Actually, I don't think you will get a lot of hate. Your agruement is structured, and you recognize that it is only your opinion, and that there are other ideas out there. I agree with you on many of these points, but I believe 343i is doing a much better job than Bungie did with Reach. The ranking system in Reach was very meaningless, as it was all about time played. In Halo 4, there has been progress with the new CSR ranking (not the best, but it's something), a return of the "X" (slightly changed), and letting the community take the reigns a little (team throwdown developed by ex-MLG players, more community forge contests and playlists, mm trials of variations of the game,including a 4 shot br, and release of a decent forge world) I admit, 343i did screw up at first, but they are trying to make amends and rebuild some of the classic Halo feel.

Well, I don't use the ar that much, but when I do: magnum, frag, Jetpack, AA efficiency, and I can't remember the last thing. (I think it's something with ordinance) Ar, close-medium range combat, balls out. Frags for extra distance on grenades (I am quite deadly with grenades), jetpack to get everywhere and gain an advantage if needed, also allows for more grenade range and angles. Magnum for possible long range shots that might be necessary. AA efficiency for more jetpack usage. The ordinance thing allows me to get the jump on ordinances and gain control of them earlier. But also, try to Diversify: Mix things up a little, (in weapons, aa's or packages). You never know what the right combo is for you, another combo might appear over time. I constantly change my loadouts and play style, to learn the game as much as possible. And another thing, try using the br a little more, it is the most versatile weapon in the game. If you can use one or two loadout weapons well, you can shutdown many opponents from being factors in the game. If you can do that, or at least get a few rounds into enemies, your team mates might also do better and the game will swing in your favor.

Well, there is Team Throwdown, which is supposed to be competitive. It can be very good at times, but downs't carry the same weight as mlg did.

The third puzzle involves reasoning, and comprehension of cause and effect. There is a story of three Russian professors who were going to be executed for spreading Democratic ideas in Soviet Russia during the 30's. Stalin decided to make an example of them, by giving the professors a chance to walk free - a fair Democratic chance in a dictator run Communist country. Unknown if this actually occured, but widely believed to be from 50's Red Scare propaganda. The puzzle: Stalin has the professors lined up before him in a large room. Before him are five identical hats, except for their respective colors. Three are black, and two are white. The professors are blindfolded, and turned 90 degrees to the right. One hat is put on top of each of the men, and the remaining hats are put into a opaque bag. The professors' blindfolds are taken off. There are no mirrors or reflective objects in the room, and there are only the five hats (three on the professors and 2 in the bag. Stalin tells them that if any one of them correctly states the color of the hat on top of his own head (the man answering that is), all three of them are free to go, but if they answer incorrectly, the three men would die. The men were not allowed to talk or move or make any gestures except for when answering. No one was allowed talk to them or communicate in any way, and the room contains no hints. After a few minutes pass, the third professor correctly states the color of his hat, "my hat is black", but he did not guess. How did he know the color of his hat? Did you download them? The second half of the Spartan ops takes about an hour to download, and forge island takes about 5 minutes. Check you hard drives memory.

Try Darksiders 2, it is a great game, and if you explore and do side quests, you are greatly rewarded.
