  1. 343 has not mentioned whether they will be playable in Customs and Forge. They have confirmed that they are not in matchmaking.
  2. You're missing the "It will be better than all of the other Halo games" option.
  3. You mean the Prisoner of Charum Hakor? That wasn't the last Precursor. It was a Gravemind.
  4. Their most likely place of origin is that they were created by the Precursors or some other highly evolved species. If they were created by the Precursors then they were likely created long before the war with the Forerunners. Also I believe that the picture has been confirmed to not be a Precursor.
  5. Looks to me like you need to learn a bit more about the history of the Flood. I will give you a shortened version. The Ancient Humans and Prophets (the ones that lived before the Halo rings were fired) first found the Flood in a dust form floating in containers in space. They learned that when fed to Pheru, a popular species of pet, that they would produce desirable traits. They fed the powder to Pheru for many years, but strange things began to happen. Powdered Pheru began to have strange growths and these growths, and sometimes the entire Pheru, would be consumed by other powdered Pheru. (Pheru are naturally herbivores.) Eventually the Flood evolved into the form that we fight in Halo and fought a war against the Ancient Humans and Prophets. The Ancient Humans and Prophets discovered a way to beat the Flood. they manipulated key strands of Flood DNA, infected a third of the population, and placed them in the path of the Flood. This reprogrammed the intentions of the Flood, causing it to turn on itself. The stable Flood that remained knew that they faced their ow extinction and fled the galaxy. The Flood returned 10,000 years later and began it's conquest of the galaxy, starting the war with the Forerunners.
  6. There's already a helmet that has that. It's called the Haunted Helmet. You unlock it after buying every armor piece in the game.
  7. My gamertag is TrueGhostlyotto. I have a mic.
  8. No, because dual-wielding makes it hard to balance weapons.
  9. The drop shield was confirmed to not be returning.
  10. I believe that the large vehicle is called the Mammoth.
  11. I can't tell if they're good enemies or not until i fight them. They do look fun to kill though...
  12. I think that it will change the attitude of the people who play multiplayer. Many of the players will not be happy about being forced to play as Spartans.
  13. The beam rifle is the Covenant sniper rifle from Halo 3.
  14. 1. Bloom was in all the Halo games. Reach was just the first game to let you see it. 2. If your lagging then it's not the game's fault. 3. While the armor abilities aren't perfectly balanced they are still not that hard to counter. 4. Sprint does make the game faster-paced. You can get to and from battles faster and get to the power weapons faster. If someone sprints away, then just sprint after them. 5. When someone uses a jetpack they almost always are visible to everyone on the map. Just shoot them and you'll either kill them or force them to go back down. 6. 343 didn't take AL out. 7. They thought it would be balanced because it jams your radar when someone uses active camo near you alerting you to their presence. 8. Hologram isn't useless. There are many ways to use it to your advantage. And if Halo Reach failed then why does it have so many more people playing it then Halo 3 does?
  15. There will be no public beta. This was confirmed months ago. Also MLG got to test the game as part of the private beta. I believe that deals with both of your concerns.
  16. This could be solved by having Sangheili that don't hunch over and by making them smaller so they are the same height as Spartans.
  17. It looks easy to navigate and is also pleasing to the eye. Well done, 343.
  18. A system that only ranks you based on wins/ losses does not measure skill accurately.
  19. Master Chief jumped from 2 kilometers up and then got up to stop the Covenant invasion of Earth. Even a Spartan-IV should be able to handle most 25 - 30 foot falls.
  20. Practice in custom games. It's not that hard. That is not reason enough to keep Sangheili out of Halo 4.
  21. In Halo 3 spartans and Sangheili had the same hit-boxes you didn't have to change you shots at all. If you died, it was because your opponent was better than you. In Halo Reach you knew you were going to fight the Sangheili beforehand and would be ready.
