  1. Destiny was a great success. It had a good launch, especially compared to many other games that launched this year. It's story was virtually nonexistent, but it established a fantastic world for future storytelling. RNG is RNG, nothing to complain about there. The gunplay is some of the best there is and raiding is the most fun I've ever had in a video game. However, the best sign of a game's success is the community that forms around it and Destiny's community is easily the best comunity in gaming today. Destiny suffers from a lack of content and nonexistent story, but has nonetheless managed to secure a fairly large community of hardcore fans. It's a great success and it can only get better from here.
  2. I'll try to make it. My gamertag is TrueGhostlyotto.
  3. Perhaps it was invented by one and the other started to use it. The ships might look the same because they could not improve on the design.
  4. How good is Amnesia: The Dark Descent?

    1. KhevaKins

      KhevaKins

Ok. I didn't think it was that scary but it is fairly decent if you can get past the fact your guy cries while in the dark.

  5. I won't be able to attend on Friday, but I'll be on all night on Friday and most of Saturday. Anyone who wants to play can invite or join me anytime. GT: TrueGhostlyotto
  6. What time are you guys usually on? I could use some help with missions that require multiple players.
  7. How do you guys have so much money? I'be only got the cheapest garage and spend most of my time on completely broke.
  8. Saints Row 3 is easily one of the best games ever made.
  9. You know why they call it the American Dream? Because you have to be asleep to believe it.
  10. That quote is not taken out of context. The Spartan-III's were sent on suicide missions.
  11. Here's an exact exact quote from your source. "They would be trained in companies of 300 to 330 at a time, and then sent on suicide missions that the UNSC could not accomplish even with the elite Orbital Drop Shock Troopers."
  12. No, they called the Spartan-III's suicide squads. The Spartan-II's were meant to survive and keep fighting. That's why the Spartan-II's got the Mjolnir armor and were trained from the age of 6, while the Spartan-III's got the SPI armor and a few years of training. And in Reach they didn't send Kat, Carter, or any of the others because Noble Six and Jorge were the only ones and the ship and Jorge literally threw Six off it to make sure that he (SIx) survived.
  13. No, the Spartan-II's were not suicide squads. They had the most improvements of any of the Spartan programs. The Spartan-III's were suicide squads. And the Spartan-IV's have to be enhanced a lot or they wouldn't be able to wear the Mjolnir armor without shattering every bone in their body.
  14. I like Cortana, but there's just no plausible way to bring her back. The Didact's ship was hit by a nuclear blast, then fell into Earth's atmosphere and (at least mostly) burned up. There is no possible way for her to survive.
  15. Cortana is dead. She was on a ship that was blown up by a nuke then fell through Earth's atmosphere. He's gone. And yes, data can absolutely "die". If I smashed my Xbox's hard drive, then all the data on it would be gone. Cortana was on the Didact;s ship, which was blown up and burned up in Earth's atmosphere. There's just no way she's still alive. If they bring her back, it will just ruin the story. It'd be like bring back Sgt. Johnson or Captain Keyes.
  16. Aren't the Spartan-IVs more advanced than the Spartan-IIIs? The Spartan-IIIs where trained as suicide squads and the Spartan-IVs where meant to survive.
  17. You can see the rupture and it's nowhere large enough to fit the ship through. And she wasn't on the Didact, she was on the ship. She just manipulated the hardlight bridge to stop him from killing Master Chief.
  18. The ship wasn't going through slipspace. There was a slipspace rupture below the Composer, but it was nowhere near large enough for the ship to go through. Most of it probably fell to Earth and burned up in the atmosphere or was blasted far off into the depths of space.
  19. She meant that most of her was still on the Didact's ship, which Master Chief had just blown to shreds with a nuclear bomb.
  20. For me, it's Skyrim. I played it for a little while, but it got stale fast.
  21. Chief can't find her because she's gone. (Can we really call an AI dead?) There's no way to bring her back that wouldn't ruin the story. Halo 4's entire campaign was building up to her sacrifice to stop the Didact. If she comes back, then it stops being a sacrifice and becomes meaningless.
  22. Not everyone wants a Halo game similar to Halo 3. Some people like the direction the Halo 4 is going in and some people liked Reach. The Halo community is pretty much divided and we probably won't get much of a say in how Halo 5 turns out because of that.
  23. I like this idea. It gives the Covenant a counterpart to the Mantis and really seems like something that they would use.
