It can't save games from the kind of mistakes that Bungie made with AA's in Reach. So as long as they are doing some good quality control in house should be fine. I kinda wish they had an open beta so that we could all get a little sneak peek at some of Halo 4's multiplayer action. On the other hand, I'm thankful because if they DID come out with an open beta there would be 1000's of "I hate this 343i change it" threads popping up every five minutes. Maybe, just maybe, they will search for reach players who meet a certain criteria (Playtime, for example,) and randomly distribute them. Then promptly get co-opted by an activation employee to betray 343s secrets. Then it turns out at the end of the beta that the activation employee was a plot by 343 to see who the devoted fans are...then those fans go on to take over the company.
