Reach was the last Halo title to come out. Halo 3 and Halo 2 had betas, but they were closed betas and not available to the public. Reach had an open beta, and I hope that Halo 4 will as well. Couldn't you get in the Halo 3 beta via Crackdown or from one of a bunch of online drawings? I wouldn't really consider that to be a closed beta. Darren Stallcup Posted March 24, 2012 Report Share Posted March 24, 2012 I remember watching a video from G4 that frank o'conner said that he wouldnt make a beta for halo 4 simply becuase he didnt want to split the staff from the halo 4 game just to create a beta and that there already too busy. so in this case. it dosent look like it. Now, that means for sure that there will not be a Halo 4 open beta. It probably means that there will not even be a beta like the Halo 3 one.
