The Director
D: The Director's gonna have a baby!? That can be part of a rant. Heh :3 Yes, I am going to have a baby. lol Is it possible to change the color of your iris without using expensive surgery or contacts? Does subliminal messages work for doing this? Nope. Eye color is naturally blue (or light grey/violet as the case may be), but becomes green or brown with additional pigmented cells that are added to your eyes based on your body's genetics. There is a procedure that will disrupt the layer of cells that causes the color of your eyes, leading your body into removing these cells, leaving you with blue eyes. They accomplish this by using low-energy lasers. However, the procedure is technically surgical and is also pretty expensive (they estimate $5000). It's also not available to the general public at this time, as they are still doing studies to determine efficacy and safety. There will be people who will tell you that you can change the color of your eyes through a number of means (including drinking copious amounts of coffee, meditation, subliminal messaging, and even colored eyedrops), but these are usually the same people who would use poison ivy to treat ED. Eye color is like skin color. The only changes one can make would be temporary at best, and harmful to one's health at worst. When are you going to go on another banning spree? I miss the shoutbox being all black and stuff. There are some big things coming soon, and as such I'm a bit too busy for comical banning.

The Director
What are your views on the community as a whole? What members would you consider to be your friends? 1. Well, the community is one of the largest communities across any game/universe that I've ever come across. That being said, there are some pretty deep fractures within the community that cause in-fighting as well as drive some away. After the release of Halo Reach the only thing that kept me a part of the Halo community was the community itself, so there's also that. 2. Basically everyone on the moderator team and a few staff members and 'normal' members. I'd prefer not to name names as it would hurt feelings as well as be taken as favoritism. The Director
How many fires am I allowed to start before I'll be perma-b&? Any fires you start in real life will likely not result in any disciplinary action here on the forum. Unless you posted graphic imagery about the fire. If you are referring to flaming, then it is entirely dependent on the severity of it.

And congratz!) 1) if it's a boy what shall you call him? 2) if it's a girl what shall you call her? I have a deal with my fiance that if it is a boy I get to name it Albert Andrew Nolen III and if it is a girl she gets to name it. She hasn't chosen a name as of yet. Wam
Please analyze this situation using your sociological and psychiatric skills: Tim is an American 16 year old boy. Tim is a sophomore at his local high school. He has found a girl in which their likes and friends are similar, if not, the same. This girl's name is Miranda. Miranda and Tim have been classmates, and they are the "What's up, How's it going?" kind of friends, though they never really talk when alone, as Tim gets very shy around Miranda. He is very observent. He notices that Miranda only talks with her friends and she will only talk to Tim if her friends talk to him. Note that Tim and Miranda do the occasional "Hi" in the hallway , and Miranda occasionally says, "I'm tired." whenever she is with Tim. What is your analysis of each character, Tim and Miranda, and what solution do you recommend Tim to get that "Dream Girl"?

Note that Tim and Miranda do the occasional "Hi" in the hallway , and Miranda occasionally says, "I'm tired." whenever she is with Tim. What is your analysis of each character, Tim and Miranda, and what solution do you recommend Tim to get that "Dream Girl"? Well, if Tim knows enough about Miranda to know that they share some of the same likes/dislikes then it's entirely possible that Miranda feels the same way about him. So Tim has a couple of options here. 1. Tell Miranda that he likes her and is interested in spending more time with her. This has the possibility of backfiring, however is also the most likely to result in a dating relationship with Miranda. 2. Go out on a limb and strike up more conversations with Miranda. This will be difficult with the given shyness, but will result in more overall knowledge of her and give Tim the option of asking her out on a date in the future. However, this could easily end in a 'friendzone' situation. 3. Go out with a girl who isn't the dream girl to gauge Miranda's reaction to this news. Miranda will likely play it cool, but it will also give her a chance to see how Tim acts in a relationship, and if she's interested in a relationship it will go more towards whether or not she goes out with Tim. My advice to 'Tim' is to not get his hopes up too high, though. Most high school relationships end, even with 'dream girls' and 'dream guys'.

The Director
So, in light of recent events.. Why do people think April Fool's Day is funny? April Fool's Day (or All Fool's Day if you prefer) is a day that allows for even the most serious person to exercise their inner troll. Everyone has a sense of humor, some more ridiculous than most, and April Fool's Day has evolved to allow people to display their sense of humor in clever and/or crass ways. It is a celebration of humor, which is why most people find it amusing. It is fun to trick people and to avoid being tricked.

In this case, I think it's safe to assume that everyone has a really bad sense of humor, then. Most pranks I've seen are either mean, downright cruel, or just unfunny. Like, remember when that ASL Ice Bucket challenge was goin' around, and they had a downie kid do it? Instead of ice water, they dumped fecal matter onto him. Really funny, isn't it? /sarcasm

The Director
If were possible to eat your entire body, would you digest yourself? No, because the stomach relies on messages from the brain and blood from the heart to digest. So a baby on the way huh? How much are you going to sell it for and where can I pre-order? Nope. I'm going to use the child for world domination. So now that you're pregnant, TD. Are you going to still pull off the "Typing Torso?" My torso is fine. I'm not the baby-carrier. The Director
What career do you have and do you enjoy it? (I'm aware this is considered personal, only answer if you don't mind doing so) At the moment I'm unemployed due to a long illness, but I don't have a specific career that I want to be in (except game design, but I can't afford the schooling necessary). As long as I don't feel as if I'm being cheated at my job, I usually enjoy it, and I'm a jack of all trades. So far I've been: A United States Marine (General Under Honorable Discharge) A Walmart Deli Associate A Recycling Specialist Insurance Salesman A Roofer A General Contractor's Apprentice First and Second Tier Technical Support under contract for Apple I've never been fired (or even close to being fired) and I've never found a job that I couldn't do with a bit of training. The Director
Sounds good. Why were you discharged from the US Marines? Why so many different jobs? What makes you not stick to one type of career? 1. I got injured and there was a lot of stuff going on with my family back home, so when they offered it I said okay. Either that or spend over 6 months being a drain on the government, which I didn't want to do. 2. Primarily pay. Each of those jobs had a higher pay than the last. With the exception of insurance salesman to roofer, because I had to quit my job due to a lack of feasible transportation. Who's the prettiest member? Me. Duh.
