Popular Post Drizzy_Dan
Hello all thanks for clicking the Wrapup, let's get into it!: Primary Announcement: January 23rd was my 2 year joinday! Secondary Announcement Which is Not as Important as Primary: If you're missing any site Awards, RedStar has given you the chance to request them in our new Missing Awards Thread. COMMUNITY EVENTS All Day Ricochet January 25th marked the official start of Community Events for the bright new year. RedStar kicked it off with a fun filled Ricochet gametype lobby that continued for hours. Credit to our wondrous Site Moderator RedStarRocket for hosting the Event and we hope to see you guys at more. We're glad you guys had fun at this one. Shame I couldn't make it myself.. Drawn By Fate Community Event The absolutely stunning banner above is the winning submission by Total Mayh3m in the Drawn By Fate contest. Drawn By Fate asked members to submit any graphic artwork to the site to use for a banner on our YouTube Channel and Facebook page. Above is runner up banner creation by JL or Magical Love. It looks very cool and I'd love to see it as our YouTube banner maybe. And lastly, an honorable mention to Edward Kenway's banner which is just great looking. An awesome contender and I hope it gets used for something even if it didn't win. Click Mayhem's banner find other awesome submissions by other awesome members. Let The Games Begin 2v2 Inter-Community Tournament Whether you're registered here on 343iCF, HaloCustoms, or ForgeCafe you'll be able to participate in this awesome multi-forum tournament. The 2v2 tournament is only in the signup phase right now so get into it while you can because there are some amazing prizes you can win. I'm not going to link them here because I love making you guys actually click links so click the banner above for Red's announcement and to find out what the prizes are. Winter Conclusion Forum Battle http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sH_AcL9St8o It was another one of our whacky ninja Co-head of Promotions and Events' Ninja vs Forum battles and the comments only say good things! Judging from previous comments I think these are going to continue as they are always successful in entertaining. Everyone who attends Community Events gets the Gamer Award: If you have any Community Event ideas post them here. FEATURED INTERVIEWS Zelda - Quite possibly the nicest person on the forum. Welcoming of all unless you have an unruly attitude and was quite pleasant in our interview. *I've resumed interviews but am waiting on interviewees...* FORGE THFE Submission Forums Move to HaloCustoms It's official now, THFE has moved their map submission forums to our Affiliate site, HaloCustoms. Psychoduck has made it clear that it's been great being hosted here but realized that although our Halo Community is excellent, our Forge aspect is not as strong whereas HaloCustoms is stronger in that area. Along with that, he helped build HaloCustoms and is on Staff there so really it only makes sense. We're not saying goodbye to our THFE Affiliates for good, we love Psychoduck and Able SirThomas and their crew all the same. And we'll be working together again in the future. Featured Map: January Beer Pong Turbtastic is not new to being a Featured Mapmaper in the Wrapups. Known for his MarioKart 64 track remakes, he recently made this fun looking minigame called Beer Pong. The objective is to run your Mongoose through the shields and into the "cups" to eliminate them. First team to hit all the cups wins! Who doesn't like a good game of pong? Video provided by 0LAH. GAMING NEWS Black Tusk to make new Gears of War Microsoft has bought the rights to Gears of War from Epic Games and plans to continue the franchise. Given the job of doing so is Black Tusk Studios. Adamj gives you the inside scoop. ForgeCafe's New Site ForgeCafe has just recently switched to IP Board which is what our site runs on so it has never been easier for a 343iCF member to branch out to our Affiliates before than it is right now. Please go check it out and tell me that that's not something you can pick up in an instant. You know where to click if you wanna find RedStarRocket's announcement. Siri-like Search Engine 'Cortana' Coming This Fall Like a Halo fan's dream come true, Microsoft intends to bring a voice controlled Cortana search engine to us for the Bing App owned by Microsoft. And yes, Jen Taylor will be the voice of Cortana. Beckoningzebra gives you the details, just click above. For more Gaming News check out the latest on our Front Page. HOT TOPIC: January Conspiracy Among our Staff- Part 2! Easily the hottest topic of January. In 2 days the thread got 80 replies from Staff and Members alike gaining it the HOT tag almost instantly. As a part 2 to Yoshi's original Conspiracy thread, this one rekindled the members' growing suspicions about the Staff and created mass hysteria even getting @343iBot involved. And now the creator of the thread, Edward Kenway, is our new MoM?? Funny how things work out eh members? Muahahahahaha MEMBER OF THE MONTH: January Our January Member of the Month was none other than our crazy forum ninja, onsokumaru. Since he joined, onsokumaru showed great attitude and enthusiasm for this site and introduced Events that members enjoy today. His cartoons might be a little weird and I have no idea where he gets them from but don't be fooled, this guy is serious when it comes to his job of keeping you guys entertained with Community Events! Don't worry Edward you'll have your nice minus green section of the Wrapup all to yourself next week. Announcement thread. MoM Post. NEW STAFF New year, new fresh Staff.
