Map: Covenant Crusier

Gametype: Infected Cruiser

This map is meant to be played with the gametype "Infected Cruiser". It makes it so that all the zombies are Elites. The scenario of this linear style infection map is that a squad of spartans have crashed their pelican into a covenant cruiser. The air is running out and the humans have got 10 seconds to scavange what weapons they can from the crashed aircraft and to run to the breathable zone on the other side of a shield door. What they don't know is that the Elites on the ship have become infected by some sort of virus and they are charging at the humans from different tunnels and airvents which can be found throughout all the ship. Covenant weapons can be found all over the ship and the humans have to switch to these since their ammo will be low. The humans have to fight their way through the cruiser (time-mapped events allow them to move forward) to finally find salvation inside a drop pod which seals them of from the zombies during the final moments of the game. Recommended player count is 8-14, 10 being the best.

Okay Sweeps, i have test played it and this is actually the third version of the map, I have made a few changes to it, mostly tweeks to make it easier for the zombies or to not let humans move forward too soon! I understand your critique, but the part issue may be because of lack of walls, blocks etc. However, this is a matter of personal taste i'd say.

I like the theme and the scenery, but it feels like the map is a little small. I've only played this with smaller lobbies so I don't know how well it would do on larger lobbies. But aside from that it's pretty good, some areas could be cleaned up, but still it plays well. Nice job!

Very cool theme. I like the structure of the map and you seem to have used a proper FX mix that compliments your environment very well. I must ask however, since the concept is that the Elites are infected, are you using a gametype which forces infected players to be Elites? I just ask out of curiousity. Anyways, other than that, the map seems rather well built and features what I think are some nice and original ideas. Keep up the good work!

It looks nice and very smooth. While I'm not normally a fan of filters (too expensive) I think that you've managed to integrate yours well, which isn't something you see often. I like the idea, and it isn't something that has been overdone from an infection perspective. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to your future productions.

It plays pretty well in my opinion in a lobby with 8+ players.

Yes indeed, the gametype forces zombies to be elites. I think the energy sword that the zombies use as weapons fits better with elites as zombies. I experimented a bit with the special fx and I think it matches the map well :)
