Hope you found this as interesting and hype-boosting as I did! Even more than ever I'm excited to play this game--the degree of customization you'll have over both your character and your gameplay (Based on playstyle specified by loadouts) will be simply amazing. And this isn't even the final form!

Wow...I like a few of the Helmets now...looks like a good variety for plenty of mix and match. I also like the fact that there are 2 skins for each weapons (with the exception of a third through pre-order or exclusive bundles). Tons of skins for armor as well so people will look individual for sure, especially since you can change the colors. I am so stoked for halo 4 to come out

I'm glad I could be of assistance. I have some new accoutrement as well. If you're the kind of person who would rather recline and watch a video rather than sifting through scads of imagine files, I have found an all-inclusive Halo 4 Armor video from Pax. Who knows, maybe it has something that Benishroom and I missed. Once again, if this is privileged content I'll remove the vid in an instant. I'm sure that this list at least includes Scanner and Strider, acquirable through purchase of the War Games map pack.

 

In the latest Halo 4 bulletin (Actually at the Halo 4 Pax Panel) two revelations took place. One is the reassuring announcement that the list of color options for armor will be expounded upon or refined, and the other is the momentarily saddening deconfirmation of the Mark V helmet, as well as the declaration of the armor shown as Pax being everything that's shipping with the game.

Yeah Ferret I read that too...sad day, I really liked the past versions of MC's armor. It also appears that the armor is wearing in the campaign is not going to be for everyone, BS Angel states that it is a "Cortana Special" that only Chief gets to wear. The Mark VI armor we get is a slight variation of Chiefs.

 

I like the fact that they are adding pale colors to the original bright/ solid colors. Still having 32 helmets to choose from for the most part is pretty sweet in my opinion.

I could use a lot more visor. Too many of the helmets look very foreign and strange. Unlike 3 and Reach.

But, they have Scout. And better than Reach Scout. So woot.

I actually like Halo 4's version of Halo 2/3 Mark VI armor. Even above the originals.

Is it me or does the Vanguard helmet look like a wider, fatter Mark V Helmet without the sensor thingy above the visor?

 

Not a striking resemblance but seems like a Halo 4 style Mark V.

 

The other major thing is its visor, if it was a wider set visor, that'd set it straight.
