  1. One of the most anticipated Minecraft Packs, the Halo Mash-Up Pack, has had a recent reveal of more screenshots for some pre-loaded fan-favorite maps from the old and new days. The Minecraft Halo Mash-Up Pack seems to be a block-filled redesign of some old fan-favorite worlds, as Halo Waypoint has shown. According to HaloWaypoint.com, in a short blog update, a short number of old favorites and new beauties will be included in the new world. These include the famous Blood Gulch, Lockout (or Blackout from Halo 3), Valhalla, Halo, Sandtrap, and Guardian to name a few of the multi-player ones, with Silent Cartographer and the Cryptum in which the Didact is awakened is also going to be included. 40 character skins will also be included in the pack, letting us play as some of our favorites from the series, on our favorite maps. As well, music and textures have been changed to make for an awesome new Halo experience on Minecraft. View attachment: Minecarfthalo.png What do you think of the return to our old favorite locations, are you excited to play on Blood Gulch, Lockout, or any other of the additions? 7. I traded in my entire game collection in order to get the map pack pass, and limited edition in game content. I've bought ever limited edition version of Halo since my gun metal case for Halo 2 that I still have. My Halo 3 tin, my Halo 3 ODST nothing special lol. Halo wars, Halo reach 150$ edition. Now my Halo 4 box of fun won't let me use the map pack pass. The only other passes I've ever bought were for Gears 3 and Call of Duty, those downloaded right away. Now I have a Halo 4 Map pack pass, and all I can find online as a solution is a thread from waypoint telling me I could download it between 7 and 9 AM. WHAT IS THAT? So I paid an extra 10$ with 800 MSP to download this map pack since I missed the 2 hour window? If its only a 2 hour window that you can get it, how do you expect all the people that bought the pass to be able to get it?
  8. Dear 434 industries, thank you for all your handwork and everything that you guys did to make Halo as successful as it is now. However, I have a request that me and a few 10 others and maybe even more people really would like to have. We were all extremely excited last year from hearing that Halo 4 was going to come out this year after Halo Reach and the anniversary came out. We are all veteran players who owned and played Halo since it came out in 2001. All of us pre ordered Halo 4 in limited edition, and two of us bought the Halo 4 Xbox. However despite all the excitement and expectations, our positive feeling fell to rock bottom when we realized that our games came in Chinese voices. Including all the books and special stuff that came along with it. Halo Reach at-least had the book in English! We are international students living in Taiwan from the U.S. We tried to preorder that game in completely English, but apparently it came in English text and Chinese voices. Which SUCKS!! We are making a request for all the gamers and Halo fans out there who would like to enjoy the game in the ORIGINAL VOICE. Even multiplier is not in English! Please try and make a downloadable English language voice pack for people who needs them. WE WILL BE WILLING TO PAY MICROSOFT POINTS IF IT TAKES! Please help our wish to come true, we can't resist the game in Chinese, it's torture. Master Chief sounds like a robot and Cortana sounds like a little girl. Worse, the War Games voices are extremely lame! Running Riot got translated into, KILL KILL KILL in Chinese For all gamers and Halo fans out there, please help me let 343 hear our voice and help us make this request come true! Please Sincerely, ~ Lolb4udie Edit: I have created a Halo Waypoint page, please support us! https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postsm1756781_English-Language-Pack-Request.aspx#post1756781
  9. Right, I've been playing halo ever since the release of Halo 3, and the maps for forge have never been great. Until Halo: Reach's "Forge World". And basically the maps on Halo 4 are shabby to say the absolute least! And yes i do know that Bungie owned Halo: Reach, so if not Forge World, please bring out a massive new map, built with forge in mind. Just an open map which is perfect for building anything! I've also noticed that the maps on Halo 4 don't have a very high border, so height is an issue for most maps. So again, please bring out a map made for forge! And another thing, why on earth don't you get any Human aircraft? in the campaign you are accessed to The Pelican, which is an amazing new feature in Halo, so why not use it for online game play? where it is used and cherished most?! So please, give everyone what they deserve, Bring back Forge World. Sincerely, Players of Halo.
  10. Im mexican but man! i hate the spanish campain of Halo4 it just doesnt feel right when you hear Masterchief or Cortana... do you think that 343 will ever launch a DLC containing the original voices of the game? or like a language pack including all the translations?

Available for PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 for $10 or 800 MS points.. Firefight Weapons Pack Players will soon be able to arm themselves with the Firefight Pack, a new Single Player Weapon Pack available for download August 7 for $2 or 160 MS points. The Firefight Pack will feature two powerful new weapons and five bonus weapons to use in the fight to Take Back Earth! The Firefight Pack includes the following weapons: Indra Sniper Rifle: Fully automatic sniper rifle. The Indra's low-powered scope leaves it most effective at medium range, but many soldiers believe this limitation is offset by the gun's rapid rate of fire. The Indra is the first military-grade, fully automatic sniper rifle. It has an extremely efficient heat-sink system that allows a surprisingly large number of shots to be fired before the weapon ejects its thermal clip. Krysae Sniper Rifle: Heavy turian sniper rifle with explosive rounds and an automatic scope for all-range fighting. This turian antimateriel rifle is modified to kill Reaper enemies. The Krysae's scope uses a rangefinder that adjusts to keep the target in proper proportion to the shooter, which comes in useful when the sniper is forced into close range. Its specialized ammunition is both armor-piercing and explosive. In a desperate move, the turians released its specifications over the extranet so that nearly anyone with a fabricator could manufacture this weapon to help the war effort. Reegar Carbine: Quarian electrical weapon that's best at close range. This electrical weapon improves upon the arc pistol's design by generating a sustained current on its target. This weapon is named for the quarian Reegar family, whose marines have served valiantly against the geth. Harrier Assault Rifle: Full-auto Cerberus rifle with low recoil and heat generation. These Cerberus-modified Mattock rifles are fully automatic. Cerberus gunsmiths reined in the recoil issues, resulting in a gun that stays on target but delivers slightly less punch per round than a standard Mattock. As such, the weapon is typically utilized by Cerberus's elite troops who train constantly to make every burst count. Geth SMG: Fully-automatic geth submachine gun. Its rate of fire increases when the trigger is held. This submachine gun works on the same principles as the Spitfire: it shoots superconducting toroids that break apart on impact, retaining an electrical charge that flash-converts the shrapnel into plasma. Unlike the Spitfire, however, this smaller geth weapon has been modified to take thermal clips. Holding down the trigger speeds up its rate of fire, rapidly depleting the gun’s heat sink in exchange for nearly continuous fire. Blood Pack Punisher SMG: Submachine gun with a secondary barrel that fires armor-piercing rounds. The Punisher features a secondary barrel that fires one armor-piercing round per main-barrel burst. It was developed by Blood Pack gunsmiths who found that their vorcha recruits frequently forgot to optimize ammo loads in the heat of combat. This configuration makes the process automatic and highly effective at penetrating armor. Adas Anti-Synthetic Assault Rifle: Electrical weapon that's effective against shields and synthetic targets. Named in memory of the quarians killed in the Morning War on the planet Adas, this weapon's electrical attack has been optimized for medium- to long-range firefights. Alliance marines take issue with calling it a "rifle" since, technically, it has no rifling in its barrel. The quarians shrug this off, as quarian weapon terminology rarely translates flawlessly into human languages. " Source:- Bioware Social Network

  15. So, I, like many others, aren't that big a fan of the armor abilities in Halo Reach. But I'm also pretty sure that no amount of whining will get them removed from Halo 4, or even if that would be for the better. What I am saying, is that I could accept armor abilities, and maybe even grow to like them, if they take more of a back seat in Halo 4, sort of like the equipment in Halo 3, only a little better integrated. Evade, and most of all, sprint, were welcome additions, and I'm pleased to hear that sprint is now a standard ability. It was one of the few things CoD had, that Halo needed. Gameplay-wise, armor lock, and especially jetpack, are pains. The invisibility one is a little annoying, but it don't bother me much. But those are not the biggest problems, as far as I'm concerned. What annoys me the most in Halo Reach multiplayer, are the maps, and how they are designed. They aren't bad, most are pretty decent, but they are all very much designed to make the armor abilities central, most noticeably the jetpack. Pretty much every small-to-mid-sized map in Halo Reach is full of levels and lines-of-sight were you can shoot, but not travel directly between. That is, unless you have one of those cursed jetpacks. (Uncaged, I'm looking at you!) I see many possibilities for integrating armor abilities in awesome custom games and special gametypes, I just can't possibly imagine it to be for the best to have all of them available in standard playlists like Team Slayer, Arena and Team Doubles. At least not in the state that they are today. So, these are my two cents on armor abilities, hope I don't appear as yet another whiner, but I really believe we can have our cake and eat it too! Please don not the armor abilities as central as they are in Reach now, especially the jetpack.
