  1. A map with a camp ground theme. Its an awsome flood map(recomended 8-16 players). My gamertag is jesse101000 so go to my fileshare and download it.
  2. To put it simply, im looking for people who play custom games in h4, preferably flood. If you still play please please send me a message/friend request. My gamertag is Thirteen Sloths, il probably be changing it to something less *** soon but when I do il just post it. Also feel free to leave your gamertag if you do play.
  3. HOGS FROM HECK Gamertag: treez0 (for those who tried to look up my gamertag and it wouldn't work at the end is the number 0 not the letter O) Map Name: HOGS FROM HECK (Updated 27/02/2013, Fixed some problems with the Teleporter not work for some warthogs) Link: http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/treez0/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 Gametype: Sunday Driver Link: http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/treez0/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 Description: Hey guys this is treez0 bringing you another old favorite created by Darth Human in Halo Reach. I have Recreated & Revamped it into Halo 4, Best played with 4-16 players. Have Fun.... (I will post a video soon) Video: Images:
  4. Map Name: Spartan Space Castles 4.0 File Share Gamertag: CROOKLYN05 Canvas Map: IMPACT Last Updated: 2/21/13 Tags: ctf, halo 4 Supported Game types: Slayer, KOTH, Dominion, Slayer, Flood, CTF Best Gametypes: Dominion, Slayer, KOTH, CTF, Dominion Intended Team Size(s): 8-16 player (Big Team Battle Best) Initial Ordnance:5 2- Jet Pack 1- Sniper 1- Railgun 1 - Auto Sentry Random Ordnance: Default Weapons on Map: None Armor Abilities/Powerups on map: Default Supported Vehicles: Mantis, Warthog, Banshee Budget: ####/10000 - 9900/10000 Screenshots: http://www.chamink.com/SSC-AD-Ver-2.jpg Video Flythrough/Overview Link: (This fly through is of 3.0 but both are alike) Map Description: Two Legendary Factions once Ruled here. Until one day, the Greed for Power and Control turned allies against each other. When the great war of the S.S.C's ended. All that remained were two abandoned behemoths that lay in ruin as the devastating reminder of what war can bring. Spartan Space Castles 4.0, is a map that utilizes the space provided on impact. I was always of fan of Halo 1's Blood Glutch. Just the size of that map was awesome. Countless hours playing Blood Gulch, CTF and just playing in the huge terrain that it provided. This map features two castle bases. Each is equipped with auto turrets and vehicles. All vehicles can travel where as possible. Even across the walkway. The walkway provides a means of getting across the span. There are two banshees at each base as well. There are plenty of ways in and out of the castles and around the map. It is really made for Big Team Battles, just based on the shear size of this map. Again I like maps that feel like campaign maps where you travel and cover vast areas of the board. There is a tunnel system in the back of Castle Beta to make for some fun close encounters. I also wanted to add some detailed pieces like the damaged doors and command centers to give it more of a campaign feel. Enjoy! Does this map use players trait zones? No If so, please provide the details for each trait zone: Additional Info (optional): Map is still being adjusted tested and updated. Thanks for checking it out. www.chaminkproductions.com
  5. [uPDATE]: The map has been edited so now it doesn't look like the one you see in the photos. Frame rate has been fixed. Hi, this is my first post here so excuse me if I don't have a thumbnail. Hello everyone, this is my new freeroam infection map Gamertag: Pol Wah Map: Voltage Control (in my fileshare) Gametype: Phagein (or any other Flood gametype) Players: 8-12 The video says it all about the map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbcRGo29ahQ Thanks, see u around!
  6. The map is in my fileshare (WoodChuck5562), it is called isolation. There is also a game mode called isolation flood. Descripton: Its a dynamic map and there are three parts to it. The map was built on Impact. There is also a game mode that goes with it. I recommend playing with at least 5 players, but it works best with 8-12 players. With more than 12 people the survivors have a tough time staying alive. Here is information about each piece of the map: 1st- The survivors start in a circular room with flood spawning in an elevator shaft on the side of the room. There are warthogs and mongooses in this room but they will be useless until later. A small hallway leads off from the room and there is a "launcher" at the end of the hallway. When the portal opens after 2 minutes you will be able to launch yourself to the next section of the map. 2nd- There is a small outpost on a large meteor which you are able to move around with low gravity. Once inside the outpost you will be able to grab some shotgun ammo and have the option to take a teleporter to the next section (you will be able to teleport back to this part of the map). The teleporter opens up after 1 minute (3 if you count the 2 from before). 3rd- You will be teleported to a small room in a medium sized satellite. There are two hallways which lead off in different directions. One is a long hallway and the other takes you to the 3rd story (you start on the 2nd) which has a few rooms. Once on the 3rd story you can get onto the outside of the satellite then get back in the way you came or get in through a window on the 2nd story. The window will drop you off at the end of the hallway which is the other path you could have taken. Then there is a staircase that takes you to the bottom/1st floor. There is another long hallway then a small room at the end which has a random weapon in it. Ive tested this map several times and if you have the right amount of people it can be fun. The survivors need to work together to survive the first 2 minutes before being launched to the next section. It takes a couple of tries before they figure out what to do if they haven't played on the map before then once they figure out how to survive together they should be able to make it to the next section most of the time. Usually about 5 survivors make it to the outpost on the asteroid then only 2 or 3 survive the journey to the satellite. How well they hold out on the satellite varies each game. It is the easiest spot to survive but only a few people make there so there are lots of flood by that time. Hope you like the map. Please check it out on my fileshare, my gt is WoodChuck5562.
  7. I already submitted this map before but it wasnt on my file share but now it is. The map is called isolation and the gametype is called isolation flood. My gt is WoodChuck5562. 8. Gamertag: NOBLE E 2552 Map name: "The Burrows" Game type: Standard Flood / "Biohazard" Description: [Recommended 8-16 players.] "During the siege of New Mombassa in 2552, the metro tunnels collapsed, trapping hundreds and cutting off the city's last hope for salvation." I've been working really hard on this map for the past week and I've finally gotten it to look and play exactly how I want it to. The Spartans spawn in the main atrium, which has a very creepy atmosphere thanks to the lighting. They usually hold out there until after the initial bloodbath, at which point they hold out in the tunnels or the maintenance shaft. The main problem with this map would've been the lack of LOS blockers, but I managed to solve that problem by putting down various barricades in the tunnels. The maintenance shaft is interesting because of the pipes, which are low enough to jump over, but high enough to not see over. Positions around the map are defendable, but not too defendable, which encourages movement. The crushed train also looks really cool. The Flood navigate the map via teleporter. Sorry for no link, Waypoint doesn't allow my version of Safari. And I had to use a camera for the screenshots, my capture card is black and white at the moment. My YouTube account is "creativegaminginc" if you're interested, but I don't have any videos yet due to my capture card. http://www.youtube.c...nc?feature=mhee And don't tell me to get a haircut, I got one today, haha. Update: "Biohazard" Game Type The Flood have the Overshield visual effect to achieve a "nuclear" or radioactive look, which makes it scary when you're in the train and you see the zombies emerge from the darkness through the windows. They have access to all three armour abilities and a radar, while humans have no radar, but do have Promethean Vision, so they mostly rely on natural awareness and it makes it all the more frightening when you turn around and find a zombie there. Humans are each given one grenade which must be used wisely. Rounds last seven minutes respectively. Update 2: I will soon be changing the name of the game type to "HazMat" as it better fits the game type what with the bright yellow armour that Spartans are forced to wear combined with the radioactive Flood. Biohazard will be used as the name for my upcoming map, which will be a nuclear mining facility. Really, another update? Alright, so it seems that 343 has finally fixed the dynamic lighting (THANK YOU!) so this map will soon be getting some upgrades.
  9. Alright, so by now everyone pretty much knows that 343 completely screwed up the flood mode in Halo 4. Flood, as it stands, is pretty much dead. The only hope is that 343 will fix their mistakes in an update. And since there isn't any reason to think that they can actually spot their own mistakes, the community will have to do it for them. This thread is for the issues with Flood that need to be fixed in an update. I'll list all the issues I've noticed, but PLEASE point out anything that I've missed. 1) Forced Human Color The putrid green armor color that every human is forced to wear may not break Flood games, but they are hard as hell to look at. Leaving aside the issue of why anyone would choose that particular color, why force our skins in the first place? Did 343 never see a game of infection in the past Halos? Infection was one of the few gametypes to actually let players use their chosen armor colors. What has 343 gained by taking that away? There should be the option to allow players to use their chosen colors and the option to CHOOSE a color to be forced on the players 2) Cannot Place Weapons on Map I honestly can't fathom how this happened. Why in God's name can't we place weapons on the map? My only guess is that 343 was just to lazy to actually add the option to turn off weapon spawns to the custom game interface and just left it set to "off" behind the scenes. Sure, we can use ordinance to get around this. But that clutters the HUD with white markers, and in some games, it might be important for the humans to not know which weapons are where. 3) Flood Cannot use Anything but the Energy Sword Once again, how did this happen? Its as if no one at 343 had ever played a custom game before. Limiting the Flood to the sword prevents most, if not all, of the minigames that were made in the past Halo games, as well as preventing any new minigames that might have been made with the new weapons and armor abilities. Not to mention that since the sword has a ridiculous lunge range, it might have been useful in many situations to equip the flood with gravity hammers instead. This absolutely crushes the versatility of Halo custom games. 4) Alpha Zombie Traits Disappear upon Death Now I know 343 never played a custom game. Or at least not Fat Kid. Because that's how I figured this one out - as soon as the humans killed the Fat Kid, he spawned as a regular, weak zombie, unable to do anything. The gametype was completely broken. And don't think this is a problem for just one specific scenario. There are plenty of times when giving certain traits exclusively to the one or two Alpha Zombies is the difference between overwhelming humans or making the infected team too weak to do anything. Now, I'd actually suggest that instead of completely changing the Alpha Zombie traits back to the way they were, 343 should make this a changeable option in the menu. Alpha Zombie traits could disappear "Never," "Upon Death," "Upon Converting X Zombies," or "After X Minutes." But my God, at least allow us the first option. 5) Flood Loadouts Cannot be Customized How can 343 be so arrogant as to think that their arbitrary choice of Flood loadouts will perfectly suit every single Flood game variant? Could they not think of a situation in which a player might want the Flood to have access to Promethean Vision but not the Boost Pack? What if someone wanted to give the Flood jetpacks? I don't think any more needs to be said. 343 really shot custom games in the foot with this one. That's all I've been able to find so far. Once again, please add anything that I've missed. And even if you don't have anything constructive to say, please post to say that you think that the above problems need to be corrected. 343 won't acknowledge these issues unless enough people are speaking out about them. Added From Thread 6) Sprinting Cannot be Changed Obviously, speed is a crucial factor in Infection. The inability to tweak, enable, or disable sprinting for both humans and Flood will be a thorn in the side of many Forgers. 7) Game does not End when the Flood or the Humans Run out of Lives 8 Cannot Remove the Waypoint for the Last Man Standing There are a lot of Infection gametypes that rely on the humans' ability to hide. Now, the Last Man in those gametypes has basically no chance.
  10. Gamertag : Suryantoko Map : The FALLING FLOOD! Gametype : FALLING FLOOD! Recommended Player Count : 8 - 16 THIS FLOOD MAP IS LIKE NO OTHER, most flood maps have a 'head 2 head hide in a building to survive' infection map. But this is different. FALLING FLOOD takes place in the Ravine of the map Ravine. Flood have to parkour their way down the Ravine and tactically kill the Spartans from above. Kind of like Ezio going for an assassination. Spartans spawn on the bottom of the Ravine and try to survive while Flood try to mutilate them above. The game is in 3 levels, Flood have access to 3 teleporters, which will spawn according to when the next level is ready for Spartans. Each teleporter sends you to different spots in the level. E.g teleporter one will send you to 3 spots on level one and Flood make theyre way down from there and so on for the next 2 levels. Each level the Spartans will have to hold the area until a passage or teleporter will spawn. WATCH ABOVE SPARTANS, FLOOD KILL THEM FROM ABOVE!
  11. Based on AnEpicPotatoe's NZ_insanity I bring you NZ_Spore. Based on impact, it begins as segregated spawns, one in a small courtyard and one in the main room downstairs. they battle through the rooms against the oncoming hoard to reach the main upstairs room where you can activate the power ( a turret ) It has the same weapon drops as the original and follows the same NZ_Survival game type. Players 12 - 16 as starts with 5 zombies Gametypes Flood NZ_survival Map created by AzureXPD and Absentduckling3 On Absentduckling3's file share Gametypes coming soon but I presume you already have it as its popular

  15. Map: Flood Factory Gametype: Flood factory This is a flood game type for 8-16 players. Its a large map with a large factory type building where the humans will hold out. The flood spawn in a room where teleporters will take them to the outside or the factory as well as there is a spawn on the roof that lets flood drop on the humans. Theres is i a balance of power weapons are well as a static warthog that you can use for its turret. There are two turrets and three mongooses.
  16. Hey guys, i was just wondering if anybody is as much in love with the halo universe as i am. To be more specific the Forerunner saga. I've already read the first two of the Forerunner books and would love to just discuss it with people who have also read the books and are as much looking forward to the third and last of the Forerunner series. I really want to discuss the conversation the Didact had with the primordial towards the end of the second book. Talk about how awesome ancient humans must have been during the Forunner-Human War. Talk about how you guys feel about their 'Religion', so to speak, of upholding the mantle and of being the guardians of all life. That and everything else that makes Forerunners an amazing fictional race. Seems as if we could actually learn a lot form this fictional culture. And to Bungie and 343 for making/continuing such an awesome universe. Hopefully 343 that this will not be the last we hear of the Forerunner, I want to read more books regarding their culture, maybe even everyday life for a Forerunner. Maybe even some small conflicts that the forerunner had to overcome in their long years.
  17. After an earthquake, an old facility that studied the water of an underground lake was destroyed, and was made home for the flood. As scientists go in to explore it, they discover what happened to the isolated facility. Best played with 8-14 players but can hold up to 16. Use with my Hell on Earth gametype, or any other flood game mode. Map made by Shadow KryPTiiC Sorry for no pictures, i don't know or have any way of attaching pictures to this. If you can help message me on xbox live or reply down below.
  18. I am almost finished making a new flood map (Just need to make some minor changes but the map is currently playable with very few issues). The map is called Isolation, I will have details below. If you are interested in playing on it go to my file share (its not on my file share yet) or send me a message and ill invite you when I'm playing (GT: WoodChuck5562). Its a dynamic map and there are three parts to it. The map was built on Impact. There is also a game mode that goes with it. Here is information about each peice of the map: 1st- The survivors start in a circular room with flood spawning in an elevator shaft on the side of the room. There are warthogs and mongooses in this room but they will be useless until later. A small hallway leads off from the room and there is a "launcher" at the end of the hallway. When the portal opens after 3 minutes you will be able to launch yourself to the next section of the map. 2nd- There is a small outpost on a large meteor which you are able to move around with low gravity. Once inside the outpost you will be able to grab some shotgun ammo and have the option to take a teleporter to the next section. (you will be able to teleport back this time) 3rd- You will be teleported to a small room in a medium sized satellite. There are two hallways which lead off into different rooms. One hallway is short and leads to a large room and the other ends in a small room with a powerweapon you can pick up. This hallway is long and in the middle of it there is a window you get onto the outside of the satellite on. Ive tested this map several times and if you have enough people it can be fun. Its challenging surviving the first 3 minutes. You will need to work together to be able to do it, but once the portal opens it will be easier to survive but not too easy. It will take some practice to get good at the map. Please leave a comment if you are interested in the map. I also have a gamemode that goes with it: Isolation Flood. Just send me a message on xbox live and I will invite you when im playing on the map. Hope you enjoy it!
  19. The first one is a CTF map called Gravity, great for 2-8 players. It is small, and contains 2 mongooses, 2 ghost, and 2 banshees. There is an indoor and out door area(the outdoor area having lower gravity). The map is perfectly symmetrical. The second one is made for a custom flood mode in my fileshare called "Gravemind"(in my fileshare). The map is called "Highway to He11 V2". Please give feedback so I can improve these amps and hopefully get them added to mathmaking.
  20. A Bunker that was used during World War 2, seems to be a safe place to hide from the zombie outbreak, but the group of humans soon learn the bunker's secrets. It is linear and it can also be free roam. Best played with 10-14 players but can hold up to 16. Use with AnEpicPotatoe's gametype NZ_Survival.
  21. MAP NAMES : corruption, flead space, strand ed game type : flea now in Deni snipeS fileshare screen shots from strand ed coming soon
  22. MAP NAMES : corruption, flead space, strand ed game type : flea now in Deni snipeS fileshare
  23. MAP NAMES : corruption, flead space, strand ed game type : flea now in Deni snipeS fileshare
  24. Flood is arguably one of halo's most fun game type and some flood forgers are constantly putting out maps that deserved to be featured. So far thfe has put out very few flood maps and me and a lot of other people are a little disapointed.
  25. Just wanted to see what you guys would like to see in upcoming downloadble content for Halo 4. Personally I would like to see: The return of Halo 1+2+3+Reach+ODST Vechicles, Weapons and Armor Infected armor pieces (i.e More Flood Armor) Underwater maps (also the ability to swim, if not then simply to be able to go into water in maybe some kind of Scuba Mantis) Playable Elites agian Back body armor: Swords, Katana's, Machetes etc. (could play a part in assassinations) Flags on poles, bags of skulls (think Predator) Customizable styles for your Jetpack The return of bigger Forge Maps The Ultimate Map Pack: Every map, ever released on every Halo game. Ever. Even DLC ones. (Excluding Wars) Firefight's return Duel-Wielding (Probably not a good idea on the whole, but you never know...) Damaged armor i.e Needler rounds stuck in it or a crack visor, it would look kick-ass! More Armor's to unlock past level 50 and just more in general More Specializations (and with that, more ranks to get to) Playable Brutes(?) Forerunner Armor (One of the top on my list) More armor abilites Stun, Tether (i.e Didact force choke) Teleportation ( perfect for n00bs ) AND..... Blood Gulch. Any more ideas that I have I will post on here. Oh, and if anyone from 343i sees this post, Please do consider these ideas to prehaps put in, or just ignore them as the ramblings of a crazed fan-boy. Ether way, thanks for making such a fantastic a astounding game for us to cheirsh and enjoy.
