Gamer-tag: BERSERK NOMAD Map Variant Link: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/berserk%20nomad/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 Game Type: Flood(normal) Number of players: Plays best with 16 players but will also play with 8 Description: When scientist found a cave system hidden deep under the surface of Earth, they were expecting to find a new type life form, but not a dormant cell of the flood virus. When the scientist tried to move the flood viruses out of the cave system it infected some of the scientist. They turned into the flood and began killing everything in the compound, after a few hours no-one was left alive. So, many years after the incident a team a UNSC Spartans were sent to the underground compound to investigate why their had been no communication from the compound to the outside world for months. The Spartans found.........Play the map to find out! This map includes very well crafted sight lines and is extremely fun to play with friends. The atmosphere of the map is very intimidating and makes you think what has happened to the compound. Also, this map has great aesthetics and good dynamic lighting. Screen Shots: (The screenshots from Ravine are not from the "Mangle" map, Just the ones from Erosion) https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/berserk%20nomad/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=Image&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0
  2. "What is the Matrix?" "The answer is out there Neo, and it will find you, if you want it to." GT/Creator: TheBloodbath22 Map Name: The Matrix Supported Players: 2 - 16 Supported Gametypes: "Enter the Matrix" Flood variant. Download here: https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/games/halo4/filebrowser/details/5788e3eb-f4ca-488a-b561-37050541594a .......and Flood, Oddball, KOTH, Slayer. # Description: It's 1999. A trailer comes out, and it's Keanu Reeves saying "whoa". It's the very last thing you'd expect when you walk out of the theater absolutely certain you've just seen a sci-fi classic that will stand the test of time. What I have here is a city connected to the Subway from the original Matrix, with certain buildings and areas recreated from the very first film. The map was designed for free roam flood, and thus the only fiction that made sense was to survive an outbreak of Agent Smiths, borrowing from Reloaded. Because he actually turns you into a Smith, just like an infection. As this is an entire city, ordnances are available to draw people around the map, dare you to make run for supplies and more powerful weapons--and vehicles are not only present, but completely accessible by anyone including flood, just as in the Matrix. Humans have a jump height of 150%, while Smiths also have the ordinary Flood speed 150% in addition. But with vehicles and ordnances, you must survive a whole Five minutes to win. Thank you so much for looking over my hard work. I hope it plays well, as this is my very first Free Roam infection map--ever. Enjoy! 3. I'm posting the exact same thing I posted when I submitted this to the Infection submissions Gamertag: Onemanstronger Map: Vanquish Gametype: Ride or Die Description: Whenever you play Flood, especially in Halo 4, the Spartans are always the ones being hunted. So I decided to make a gametype to change that. Ride or die is a flood gametype wherein the Flood are the HUNTED! Here's how it goes: Flood spawns in the beginning of the game and have to ride vehicles or they die. I reduced their melee damage to so little that they would have to be forced to ride a vehicle to take down spartans. The vehicles on the map are: Scorpions, Wraiths, Ghosts, Gauss Warthogs, Banshees and Mantises. Meanwhile, spartans all have Power weapons with three loadouts to balance: 1st loadout: Rockets, Gravity Hammer, Plasmas, AA Efficiency and Hardlight Shield. 2nd loadout: Spartan Laser, Energy Sword, Plasmas, AA Efficiency and Hardlight Shield. 3rd loadout: Incineration Cannon, Plasma Pistol, Plasmas, AA Efficiency and Hardlight Shield. Spartans have 2x Overshield with normal regen rate. Damage Boosts and Speed Boosts are spread across the map. And finally Last Man Standing traits: 4x Overshields with a faster regen rate and unlimited Armor Abilities Best-played with 16 players: 4 initial flood and 12 spartans for maximum CHAOS! But you can adjust it with the amount of players you have Tips: Spartans do not take the leap of faith without looking where to land. Here is the link to my Map Variants: http://www.halowaypo...le&startIndex=0 And the link to the Game Type: http://www.halowaypo...le&startIndex=0 Here are the pictures: This is a simple map that I built in the lowest part of Erosion to make use of the cool rocks Here are where the vehicles are located: This is the leap of faith where only flood should only go This is how high the place is! No height damage for flood Please feel free to comment! And please try it out It's really fun
  4. Gamertag: hmhm70 Map: Parasite Gametype: Parasite Screenshot: Link (This screenshot doesn't do the map justice) Description: I created this map, although it says created by DDez Drol. DDez Drol makes modded maps for forge to expand the budget, which I used as a canvas, thus saying he is the creator. This is an 8-16 player flood map using the game variant Parasite. It is based off of a small town which gets less domesticated towards the flood spawn point. It is better with more players than less. The number of flood is a simple math problem. Divide the number of players by two, and subtract one. If there are an odd amount of players, round down. This map took me about 5 hours to make and I tested with friends yesterday. This is my first flood map and it turned out great. I made it as un-campable as possible and tweaked the gametype so it is fun for both flood and humans. The weapons placed on the map are shotgun, railgun, and sniper rifle. The shotgun is the most powerful although the zombies can easily overpower anyone with the shotgun. You spawn with an assault rife as humans and a magnum. There is a warthog, but the road is collapsed (jump) and there is debris all over the road making the warthog not so campable. There are lots of fun places to go on the map, and it will have you running and shooting like crazy.

From the album: b0b is here's maps

ZombieSitter: designed for flood and gravemind The map is titled "ZombieSitter", is set in Ravine, and is an asymmetrical teleporter map. Players traverse the map one of two ways. By utilizing either the "recycler teleporters" (Jump off the map at various speeds/angles/physical positions, and teleport throughout the map) players can cycle throughout the map by jumping directly off to what would otherwise be death. The teleporter then transports the player to one of the many reciever nodes hidden throughout. This map is purely for flood and gravemind. Elaborating on the term "zombiesitter", the map drops the flood off at the top of the map, and the spartans babysit with their guns. There is nowhere to hide in this map, so last man standing zone exists across the entire playable area. Adittionally, Ordinance may be called in to assist with the babysitting.

  9. GT:H3YL0W Map: Flood Parkour Gametype: Flood Parkour Player count: 2-16. Recommended: 8-16 Description: Humans make their way through an EPIC parkour (obstacle course) map going stories high off the ground in a GIANT colosseum! If they make one wrong move and fall down to the first floor, the flood infects them. Very fun minigame!!! Visuals of the map are in this youtube video.

  11. The Flood. You either Love or Loath it. Many people loath it due to the library missions in Halo CE/Halo 2 as well as Cortana from Halo 3. I admit Cortana was tedious at times and the Libraries could become frustrating, but thats no reason for pulling one of the most dangerous threats (in theory) from a game where all the awesome ancient tech is based around combating it. The flood in the original trilogy was good, but after reading the books and terminals about it, the fungus zombies didnt seem to portray the unstoppableness-ness that overwhelmed the Forerunners and caused them to commit cosmic suicide. In game i think the flood needs to become scaryer. Slithering in the dark, ambushing you, literally tearing through allies. The spartan flood in the Infection gametype of halo 4 has a giant claw, so lets see it put to use. Another thing is the weakness of flood. In halo 3 you could almost dissolve combat forms with a nasty look. Halo CE had it right. 2 clips of 60 round MA5B ammo and the ******** can still hop up off the floor. Now in many topics Ive seen Deadspace fans gloating how their necromorphs are scaryer. And to be honest I have to admit the flood isnt as scary in game. But in concept the flood should be able to make Chief nervous. Im trying not to express my sadistic side, but i think non scripted marine deaths by infection forms in Halo 3 were amazing. Graphics and gore upated with modern software and you have a greusome yet amazing incentive to protect your AI buddies. If 343i made you respect your marines (rather than using them as meat shields and ammo mules, get them to give you ammo or help you in some way without the scripted cutscene like events so you DO want to keep them alive, even for just sentimental reasons) then when they are tron in half and eaten in front of you, you might exact revenge rather than laugh. I know I beat the crap out of Spark when he killed Johnson. -Imagine this. You are running along through Halo 5 with a couple of AI buddies [that arent in any way significant to the mission], theyve been talking to you, weakening and killing enemies, supplying you with ammo and generally being helpful [yes i am still taling about Halo marines here] when suddenly jimmy-bob AI is grabbed by a Combat form and torn in two, while the other AI is making horrible gurgling noises as an infection form burrows into his rib cage. This would make me go on a rampage. Why not make us care about our AI buddies, then have the flood come rip our bromance apart? Gameplay wise we need variaton with flood. Halo 3 should be seen as a concept point for 343i. Pureforms were a good idea but never seemed to be as big a threat as they were made out to be. Why not have a stronger flood force where most infection forms were tank strenght. Not requiring a rocket launcher to take down [thats just crazy] but making them bullet sponges. Force a player to fall back as a staggering wall of flood marches at you. Infection forms can stay as popcorn, its part of the games now and actually suits them, but noone seems to panic when they are around. If you have AI allies around these little guys should become your worst nightmare. Buddies now oozing with green slime and floodflesh turn and rip into you. Wall to wall popcorn is never a bad idea. new types? Take a leaf from Halo wars and have infected grunts/jackals in game. I know in the lore they are infected to become food and flesh for the hives of the flood, but we should get to see this. Flood growths could also be interesting. Halo 3 gave us the Mature spores that released infection forms but why not the stalks and tenticals of halo wars? the ranged pureforms could become stationary and allow for proper assault flood controlled areas objectives in campaign. Summing it up, scary and overwhelming is what it needs to be. With promethians and covenant requiring tactics and flanking to overcome, this updated flood should be the break from noobcombotakeoutthewatchersthenknights tactics and it should open up your inner Rambo. Tactical decisions would still be needed, but more along the lines of 'do i have enough ammo' or 'which flood should I avoid and which do i shoot at from range.' Another benifit of Flood returning would be the return of sentinel weapons. The sentinels in Halo 2 were awesome, and if you havent already you should look up the concepts for other in game sentinels. I can imagine massive fights between variations of flood and sentinel and promethian that you must navigate. It also means flame weapons can make a return. The bodies dissolving from forerunner weapons in game actually serves a purpose (apart from us thinking 'Ooh.... pretty...) by destroying bodies so flood wont infect them [this could aslo allow for a flood firefight- check out some of the other topics ideas on this, people come up with good stuff]. Story-wise i think the flood should remain as an extragalactic parasite. A biological weapon from the precursors? Thats kinda lame to be honest. I would prefer that when the precursors buggared off to the other galaxies to explore and do precursory things that they came across an entire galaxy that was consumed by flood. Not knowing what the flood was they were overwhelmed and consumed. Now the flood has the ability to travel the distance between galaxies ['cept the precursors sabotaged their engines to save life here in the milky way]. The flood manages to send one small cluster of spores and hive on a ship back to the milky way where the humans found it.... And the cannon story follows from there. This -and i know its a stretch- could be the return of the flood in Halo 5. A precursor vessel filled with highly evolved flood slips into the milky way after jul m'dama activates a forerunner device that could contact the precursors. The Ship offloads and starts a massive infection of covenant space. **** gets real and the Array become an option for the UNSC to wipe out the huge flood incursion. Promethians can get involved somehow. Everybody wins, original trilogy and new age fannon fans. Id Like to see your ideas on my ramblings and any additions/subtrations you would make to the halofanboy opinions i vomited in the essay above.
  12. Gamertag: Auxi Klutch Map: Excavade Gametype: Outbreak Party Size: 10-16 Description: After the project was completed, what remains of the battered compound is left abandoned and forgotten. This is a free roam flood map based on Impact. The map starts out linear just to get to the complex, once inside it becomes free roam. The complex has the illusion of being completely underground which adds its own theme and aesthetics to the map itself. The flood are given teleporters to enter the complex quicker and easier. This map is a lot of fun, hope you download it.
  13. Gamertag: Auxi Klutch Map: Docks Gametype: Contagion Party Size: 10-16 Description: Lost, with what ammo remains, you must survive to the end. This map is a linear style of map with 3 stages. Flood count starts at 2. Teleporters are given to the flood to help advance them throught the map, also to add better gameplay for the humans.
  14. GT: Shadow KryPTiiC and HornetAssassin5 Gametype: The Journey Map: The Journey: Part I The Journey is a linear flood series that follows a group of humans as they escape the flood. The first part starts in the city, the second part takes place in the sewers, the third is also in the city, the fourth part or finale is a secret. Their is initial and personal ordanance on the map as well. For download go to my fileshare. On each map their are four rooms and this map, as well as the rest of the series is very fun. Will be posting other parts of the series soon. Shoutout to my forging clan Mk25 for helping me and Hornet test the map. https://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/shadow%20kryptiic/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 The First room The Second room The Third room The Final Room, Look for the manhole that hints the humans are next going into the sewers. Thanks and please download. (:
  15. Hi everyone, this map is made by Wolferious and myself, Pol Wah. It is obviously a Nazi Zombies map so its played with Anepicpotatoe's gametype or my own, NZ_Phagein. In this map I used my own new mecanic for opening doors which works with crate smalls. You have to throw in BOTH of your grenades for it to open. Em... I really don't know what else to say... I guess its a medium sized infection map... I like it... Well, thats about it. Stay awesome guys. (The map and gametype are in my fileshare) These are the opening doors
  16. Hello there Im Reclaimed Halo (my xbox gamertag too) , i have created an Aliens map based on the second movie of Aliens by James Cameron. The map is a recreation of the control room in the terraforming colony. The map consists of the Coms room, and Med lab, the famous dank tunnels, a cefeteria, and two storage rooms. I even placed the coms room windows facing the wierd formations of rocks on impact, because they resemble the wierd terrain on the planet of LV-426( like in the movie). I created the map as best, and lovingly as i could, since i am a Huge ALIENS fan. The map name is: Hadley's Hope ( here is the link to the map on Halowaypoint.com) : http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/reclaimed%20halo/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 There are two map gametypes for the map, one is for 4 throught 10 players while the other is 10 through 16 players. ( here is the link to the gametypes) : http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/reclaimed%20halo/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameSettings&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 The gametype and map both have smooth gameplay. The map feels like an Aliens map with the hallways,m and the gametype gives the humans a saw and shotgun, The aliens are faster than humans, but to counteract that it takes 4 hits to kill a human while the humans dont regenerate their shields, and the Aliens dont have armor abilities. And from my test it truely feels like Aliens with alot of people in your lobby.
  17. A map with a camp ground theme. Its an awsome flood map(recomended 8-16 players). My gamertag is jesse101000 so go to my fileshare and download it.

  19. Map Name: Spartan Space Castles 4.0 File Share Gamertag: CROOKLYN05 Canvas Map: IMPACT Last Updated: 2/21/13 Tags: ctf, halo 4 Supported Game types: Slayer, KOTH, Dominion, Slayer, Flood, CTF Best Gametypes: Dominion, Slayer, KOTH, CTF, Dominion Intended Team Size(s): 8-16 player (Big Team Battle Best) Initial Ordnance:5 2- Jet Pack 1- Sniper 1- Railgun 1 - Auto Sentry Random Ordnance: Default Weapons on Map: None Armor Abilities/Powerups on map: Default Supported Vehicles: Mantis, Warthog, Banshee Budget: ####/10000 - 9900/10000 Screenshots: http://www.chamink.com/SSC-AD-Ver-2.jpg Video Flythrough/Overview Link: (This fly through is of 3.0 but both are alike) Map Description: Two Legendary Factions once Ruled here. Until one day, the Greed for Power and Control turned allies against each other. When the great war of the S.S.C's ended. All that remained were two abandoned behemoths that lay in ruin as the devastating reminder of what war can bring. Spartan Space Castles 4.0, is a map that utilizes the space provided on impact. I was always of fan of Halo 1's Blood Glutch. Just the size of that map was awesome. Countless hours playing Blood Gulch, CTF and just playing in the huge terrain that it provided. This map features two castle bases. Each is equipped with auto turrets and vehicles. All vehicles can travel where as possible. Even across the walkway. The walkway provides a means of getting across the span. There are two banshees at each base as well. There are plenty of ways in and out of the castles and around the map. It is really made for Big Team Battles, just based on the shear size of this map. Again I like maps that feel like campaign maps where you travel and cover vast areas of the board. There is a tunnel system in the back of Castle Beta to make for some fun close encounters. I also wanted to add some detailed pieces like the damaged doors and command centers to give it more of a campaign feel. Enjoy! Does this map use players trait zones? No If so, please provide the details for each trait zone: Additional Info (optional): Map is still being adjusted tested and updated. Thanks for checking it out. www.chaminkproductions.com
  20. The map is in my fileshare (WoodChuck5562), it is called isolation. There is also a game mode called isolation flood. Descripton: Its a dynamic map and there are three parts to it. The map was built on Impact. There is also a game mode that goes with it. I recommend playing with at least 5 players, but it works best with 8-12 players. With more than 12 people the survivors have a tough time staying alive. Here is information about each piece of the map: 1st- The survivors start in a circular room with flood spawning in an elevator shaft on the side of the room. There are warthogs and mongooses in this room but they will be useless until later. A small hallway leads off from the room and there is a "launcher" at the end of the hallway. When the portal opens after 2 minutes you will be able to launch yourself to the next section of the map. 2nd- There is a small outpost on a large meteor which you are able to move around with low gravity. Once inside the outpost you will be able to grab some shotgun ammo and have the option to take a teleporter to the next section (you will be able to teleport back to this part of the map). The teleporter opens up after 1 minute (3 if you count the 2 from before). 3rd- You will be teleported to a small room in a medium sized satellite. There are two hallways which lead off in different directions. One is a long hallway and the other takes you to the 3rd story (you start on the 2nd) which has a few rooms. Once on the 3rd story you can get onto the outside of the satellite then get back in the way you came or get in through a window on the 2nd story. The window will drop you off at the end of the hallway which is the other path you could have taken. Then there is a staircase that takes you to the bottom/1st floor. There is another long hallway then a small room at the end which has a random weapon in it. Ive tested this map several times and if you have the right amount of people it can be fun. The survivors need to work together to survive the first 2 minutes before being launched to the next section. It takes a couple of tries before they figure out what to do if they haven't played on the map before then once they figure out how to survive together they should be able to make it to the next section most of the time. Usually about 5 survivors make it to the outpost on the asteroid then only 2 or 3 survive the journey to the satellite. How well they hold out on the satellite varies each game. It is the easiest spot to survive but only a few people make there so there are lots of flood by that time. Hope you like the map. Please check it out on my fileshare, my gt is WoodChuck5562.

  22. Gamertag: NOBLE E 2552 Map name: "The Burrows" Game type: Standard Flood / "Biohazard" Description: [Recommended 8-16 players.] "During the siege of New Mombassa in 2552, the metro tunnels collapsed, trapping hundreds and cutting off the city's last hope for salvation." I've been working really hard on this map for the past week and I've finally gotten it to look and play exactly how I want it to. The Spartans spawn in the main atrium, which has a very creepy atmosphere thanks to the lighting. They usually hold out there until after the initial bloodbath, at which point they hold out in the tunnels or the maintenance shaft. The main problem with this map would've been the lack of LOS blockers, but I managed to solve that problem by putting down various barricades in the tunnels. The maintenance shaft is interesting because of the pipes, which are low enough to jump over, but high enough to not see over. Positions around the map are defendable, but not too defendable, which encourages movement. The crushed train also looks really cool. The Flood navigate the map via teleporter. Sorry for no link, Waypoint doesn't allow my version of Safari. And I had to use a camera for the screenshots, my capture card is black and white at the moment. My YouTube account is "creativegaminginc" if you're interested, but I don't have any videos yet due to my capture card. http://www.youtube.c...nc?feature=mhee And don't tell me to get a haircut, I got one today, haha. Update: "Biohazard" Game Type The Flood have the Overshield visual effect to achieve a "nuclear" or radioactive look, which makes it scary when you're in the train and you see the zombies emerge from the darkness through the windows. They have access to all three armour abilities and a radar, while humans have no radar, but do have Promethean Vision, so they mostly rely on natural awareness and it makes it all the more frightening when you turn around and find a zombie there. Humans are each given one grenade which must be used wisely. Rounds last seven minutes respectively. Update 2: I will soon be changing the name of the game type to "HazMat" as it better fits the game type what with the bright yellow armour that Spartans are forced to wear combined with the radioactive Flood. Biohazard will be used as the name for my upcoming map, which will be a nuclear mining facility. Really, another update? Alright, so it seems that 343 has finally fixed the dynamic lighting (THANK YOU!) so this map will soon be getting some upgrades.

  25. Gamertag : Suryantoko Map : The FALLING FLOOD! Gametype : FALLING FLOOD! Recommended Player Count : 8 - 16 THIS FLOOD MAP IS LIKE NO OTHER, most flood maps have a 'head 2 head hide in a building to survive' infection map. But this is different. FALLING FLOOD takes place in the Ravine of the map Ravine. Flood have to parkour their way down the Ravine and tactically kill the Spartans from above. Kind of like Ezio going for an assassination. Spartans spawn on the bottom of the Ravine and try to survive while Flood try to mutilate them above. The game is in 3 levels, Flood have access to 3 teleporters, which will spawn according to when the next level is ready for Spartans. Each teleporter sends you to different spots in the level. E.g teleporter one will send you to 3 spots on level one and Flood make theyre way down from there and so on for the next 2 levels. Each level the Spartans will have to hold the area until a passage or teleporter will spawn. WATCH ABOVE SPARTANS, FLOOD KILL THEM FROM ABOVE!
