  2. Does anybody else here besides me watch Farscape? It is a bloody brilliant series that was produced by the Jim Henson Productions starting in 1999. It has Ben Browder and Claudia Black in it. Both of whom also were on Stargate SG1 (another fantastic series). It is about an astronaut (Ben Browder) who gets sucked through a wormhole while running some theoretical tests in the space "above" Earth. This sends him to a distant part of the galaxy where he ends up on a living ship called Moya. This ship is known as a leviathan. It is full of prisoners which the astronaut ends up teaming up with. They go on tons of misadventures and all the while they are being chased by a group called the Peacekeepers. They have multiple reasons to chase them down but in particular they are after John Crichton (Ben Browder) because of his relationship with wormholes. They think he can turn them into weapons and they want that knowledge for themselves. This lands them into mess after mess. A thrilling tale with a cliffhanger ending to the series until you watch the miniseries called Farscape: The Peackeeper Wars. That picks up right after the final season and wraps everything up nicely. The characters evolved dramatically through the series and you find new ones every now and again which changes the whole dynamic of all the original characters. Please tell me I am not the only one who watched this... Also I am making this because I just finished watching the whole series and the Peacekeeper Wars and am utterly taken with it.... again.
  3. Ridley Scott, known for his work on Alien and Blade Runner, will be working with 343i, Microsoft, and other legendary film industry names to produce a separate Halo Digital Feature. The Halo TV Series has been under wraps for quite some time, and rumors began circulating as to whether a film might be in production. According to TheWrap.com, we have a separate feature on the way for the Halo franchise. Listed people include the legendary Ridley Scott, Paul Scheuring, and David Zucker, taking on the roles of Executive Producer, Writer, and Assistant to the Executive Producer. Sergio Mimica-Gezzan, known well for Battlestar Galactica, is confirmed to direct the feature. This will likely not hit the big screen and remain as a digital or DVD copy at best. Additionally, Microsoft said that this film is, “completely separate from the premium Halo television series executive produced by Steven Spielberg, which is still on track.” as well they stated that the plot would follow a, “surgically-enhanced super soldier who is not Master Chief”. View attachment: halo__television_series__by_f1yingpinapp1e-d6zys54.jpg With this news, do you think this feature is in good hands? Do you think production of this could affect the main TV series? Let me know below! Credits to FlyingPineapple on DeviantART for the fan-made image.

  5. CIA admits Area 51 is real, but still won't let us see the aliens quoted from http://now.msn.com/area-51-real-after-all-according-to-cia-documents?ocid=ansnowex "The truth really is out there – in the Mojave Desert, that is, with newly declassified documents showing that Area 51 is indeed a thing. The hundreds of pages of documents, now with George Washington University's National Security Archive, reveal that that the site was used for decades after World War II as the base for the government's U-2 spy plane program. " "The name Area 51, rather unimaginatively, came about due to the site's map designation, though the site was officially known as Groom Lake. The documents contain no mention of aliens, UFOs or Mulder and Scully, but we're not letting go of those paranoid dream just yet."
  6. Since I have nothing to do currently I'm going to begin to do drawings of xenomorphs that have been crossed over into other games and movies. The first one is going to a xeno hybrid with a creature from avatar, which will be uploaded as soon as I'm done.. All of them will be hand drawn, and please excuse any poor quality pictures, for my camera is garbage.
  7. Hello there Im Reclaimed Halo (my xbox gamertag too) , i have created an Aliens map based on the second movie of Aliens by James Cameron. The map is a recreation of the control room in the terraforming colony. The map consists of the Coms room, and Med lab, the famous dank tunnels, a cefeteria, and two storage rooms. I even placed the coms room windows facing the wierd formations of rocks on impact, because they resemble the wierd terrain on the planet of LV-426( like in the movie). I created the map as best, and lovingly as i could, since i am a Huge ALIENS fan. The map name is: Hadley's Hope ( here is the link to the map on Halowaypoint.com) : http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/reclaimed%20halo/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameMap&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 There are two map gametypes for the map, one is for 4 throught 10 players while the other is 10 through 16 players. ( here is the link to the gametypes) : http://www.halowaypoint.com/en-us/players/reclaimed%20halo/halo4/fileshare#!/?section=GameSettings&SearchDate=7&SortBy=2&view-select=Tile&startIndex=0 The gametype and map both have smooth gameplay. The map feels like an Aliens map with the hallways,m and the gametype gives the humans a saw and shotgun, The aliens are faster than humans, but to counteract that it takes 4 hits to kill a human while the humans dont regenerate their shields, and the Aliens dont have armor abilities. And from my test it truely feels like Aliens with alot of people in your lobby.

  10. Hi All, Am looking for help later tonight after 10:30pm GMT time to playtest my new map Aliens Dropship a early picture of the map can be seen here: http://www.343indust...liens-dropship/ I've spent about 20 hours on this map so far last week and this week and have it setup to work on slayer, flood, Dominion and CTF map types. But before I finalise a version of the map and upload to my fileshare I need some help to play test the map. Hopefully this will provide me with information on what works and what doesn't work on the map so I can address these before the final release. Ingame footage of the playtest will be used in a youtube video for the map which I'll work on over the weekend. The map is based on Erosion mainly in the Grffball court which doubles as a nice hanger backdrop for the dropship from the film aliens which had been built entirely in forge. There is a section of the map outside of the griffball court which doubles as the bridge of the Sulaco and also is where one of the bases is for CTF and Dominion. Anyone interested in helping out then just send me a friend request. Regards BoA Wrath

  12. Alright check it out guys. I watch a show called "fact or Faked: Paranormal Files" and what they do is look for videos online and try to prove if they are fact or faked by trying to replicate the video through experiments. One was of a flying humanoid in (if I remember correctly) El Paso, Texas, and it's supposed to be a UFO hotspot. People say it's an 'Alien' or 'Witch' or flying humanoid figure. But to me, this looks like Halo Prophet on his floating chair more than a Witch. Take a look for yourselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0hoGaEsIHr0 Okay so chances are, this is definitely NOT a real life Prophet (I mean c'mon). But you got to admit, it looks like one! The Fact or Faked crew said that it was fake, being just a bundle of balloons in a black trash bag. I don't know about you guys, but I don't exactly think this was balloons (or a Phophet lol). Balloons should tip side to side and twist/rotate by the un-even wind currents. Either way, I thought I'd share this interesting video of what looks like a Prophet ;D What do you guys think?
  13. This is not my personal list. The reapers would have been #1 for me. But I agree with the majority of the Alien races on here. Top five alien races who want to kill us. It seems as though the human race (and Earth itself) is constantly under assault by malevolent alien races – at least, if movies and video games are to be believed. We'll admit to having done some particularly heinous things as a race, but just once it seems we should get a break from all these aliens looking to put us in the ground! Discuss what you think about this list. And list your own top 5. If you want give reasons as to why they are in this order. 5. The Covenant Throughout the Halo trilogy (soon to include Halo 4) there's a veritable menagerie of alien goons out to clear us out – with ulterior motives, of course. All because they've deemed the whole of humanity offensive to their gods. The Covenant isn't an alien race itself, but a militaristic alliance of several species all united under a religious pretense – the Forerunner “ringworlds,” Halos as we know them, will supposedly lead them all to salvation. But humanity's completely in the way. The Covenant consists of several races: Elites (Sangheili), Jackals (Kig-Yar), Grunts (Unggoy) and others, all of whom aren't above slicing through Marines with energy swords, or slapping a grenade on your person for a messy finish. Oh, and they've got guns. The Covenant as a collective is dangerous, so we should thank our lucky stars Chief and the rest of the crew are on our side. And we didn't even mention the Flood! 4. Aliens (Xenomorphs) H.R. Giger's horrifying creations have been terrorizing moviegoers and gamers alike for years, and things are about to get a little more real with the upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines. But why are they so chilling? Besides the fact that, you know, they have absolutely no goals other than continuing their biological line at any cost, including the lives of human beings? You know, a lot. Their blood is little more than acid. They violently implant their seed into the bodies of their victims and wait for the offspring to burst forth from their chests, effectively exterminating the host, with the chestbursters moving on to grow up and complete the cycle. Not only are these aliens difficult to kill, as you need to watch for their blood eating through either you or the hull of your spaceship and equipment, but they could possibly impregnate you via facehugger. And you don't hear those coming, usually. All this simply to propagate their species. 3. Locust Though not typically “aliens” per se, the subterranean reptilian race found with Sera of Gears of War has one main goal: to exterminate the entire human race, and then live on the surface of Sera. And no means of annihilation is too extreme: they'll send kamikaze tickers, snipers, enormous beasts such as Berserkers, and any member of the Horde hierarchy to clear out densely populated areas of men, women, and children. Grinders, Corpsers, and more relentlessly pursue humans for this very purpose. And trust us, you don't want to have to go up against a Brumak. The Locust Horde is chock full of no-nonsense warriors who, like the rest of the alien races on our list, would love to have humanity's heads on several billion platters. 2. Chimera The Resistance series revolves around humanity's dalliances with the malevolent Chimera, hailing from an unknown star system – believed to be the “original” inhabitants of Earth. The Chimera are content to eradicate all of humanity so they can encroach on Earth, making it their own. How do they do this? By infecting unsuspecting humans with a mutagenic virus. Victims will lapse into a coma and begin a slow, painful transition into a Chimera by way of cocoon. Throughout Resistance it quickly becomes clear they have no regard for human feelings or suffering – they simply pick numerous victims up at once and take them all to conversion centers, where humans are converted into far more “useful” states. Fair? Not really? Effective? You bet. You've played Resistance: Fall of Man, right? So you know how things end up. 1. Zerg The Zerg operate as one, as a hivemind, and seek to assimilate other races into their own. Much like the aforementioned Reapers, their goals are simply to gather other races for the Zerg swarm and create a master race as the result of an amalgam of the races assimilated before. Swift, strong, and ruthless, the Zerg don't rely on their own technology or traits to advance, only new “units” to be introduced into their ranks and controlled by the Overmind. If you've any doubt what they're capable of, simply observe the happenings of StarCraft and StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty. And then tell us they're not a danger to our race.
