Unfortunately no, the only way to play Reach multiplayer is with a Reach disk. Installing the game to your hard-drive just makes it easier for the X-Box to read the disc, and decreases loading time. It also helps fill in the blanks if the disc is a bit scratched. OT: my advice is to go to a local pawn shop (preferably one that doesn't know much about games) and pick up a used copy of Reach, and install it to your hard-drive. You will still need the disc to play it though.

In the community playdate yesterday, I got show-stopped while assassinating Ms. Mystic by Aztec A**hawk. After I spawned, I sprinted like a madman, assassinated Ms. Mystic, then got the double kill + revenge because I assassinated Aztec while he was trying to ninja me.

Wrong. The bullet rifle (while not NEARLY inaccurate as it's cousin the DMR) had a .015 chance for the first bullet not to hit your intended target, which an expanding variable for each of the following two bullets with the last bullet having little chance to hit inside the reticle. However, unlike the bullet spread in Halo Reach, EVERY pull of the trigger had the same chance to hit your intended target (.015 for the first bullet and an expanding variable for each of the following two bullets). Do I like bloom? Yes. I like to know where my shots might land. Do I like the ridiculous bullet spread in Reach? No.

I don't see a problem with it as long as they release them both the same way and don't have a ranking system for the PC so they can focus on the ranking system on XBL. I remember in Halo 2 there were so many people modding and cheating in ranked games that it wasn't even a game of skill anymore, just a game of who has the better mod.

I will be forever bewildered by the fact that over 85% of gamers BEGGED for 343i's TU, then when the TU Beta came out, they begged for it to be integrated into normal gameplay. Now it's not even IN normal gameplay, just a few select playlists, and people are like "o u suk 343i i h8 u cuz uv du TU chang it bak or gtfo". GTFO newbs.

That's cool and all, but 2585 would be about 32 years after Halo 3... And it says the Spartan IV project was conceived in 2585, which isn't possible because Admiral Parangosky told Dr. Halsey about the Spartan IV project IN 2553. Why would they wait 32 years to put it into effect when they were in need of them at the time to quell another rebellion in the outer colonies and to defend themselves from a possible attack from Sangheili forces who were trying to assassinate the Arbiter? Not to mention that in March of 2553 Sanghelios was bombed by an unknown force, which ended the book Glasslands (which many consider to be a prequel to Halo 4). It's well thought out, just needs a bit of date changing.
