  1. I've highlighted one example for you. Your welcome.
  2. Did you know that the Brute Choppers were originally made (without weapons) by a Huragok aboard Tartarus' uncle's Ship on Harvest? Two were made from memory as gifts to the humans however these were discovered by Tartarus (I think?) and ordered to be made into combat vehicles instead, to be used by the Brutes aboard.
  3. Correct. I highly recommend that you read The Flood which is the second novel of the original trilogy of Halo novels. While it is mostly just repeating what you see in Halo CE, it does fill in the necessary gaps. I wont spoil anything but you should check it out OP.
  4. Wow these are so well done! Instantly bookmarking this so I can download all of these once I get home from work
  5. Haha loved the commentary on your video and the map looks like it'll be fun too. Will be bookmarking this so I can grab it off of your Fileshare once it is working. Nice work man
  6. Yeah that fine tuning little lense zoom would be fantastic. Magnets help for most things but I think adding the fine tune zoom lense would make this Forge amazingly good.
  7. Goldeneye maps and Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear maps. They're looking good so far
  8. I think with something as detailed as Halo 4's Forge in its current form, it will certainly improve over time with appropriate and constructive feedback from the community to 343i. Complaining about something without offering something constructive destroys the feedback you are trying to serve up to 343i. If I was a developer such as 343i, I would ignore the whining portion of the community and only listen to those who thoughtfully and constructively brought their idea's to the table, along with suggestions for existing/new elements of the said game. Want an example? I'll use one of the dot points in your post: 2) Cannot Place Weapons on Map - Right now for Infection gametypes, there is no ability for weapon placement on maps. I feel as though this limits the forging community such as myself who also enjoy creating custom gametypes and variants. What I'd like to see (if possible) is the ability to enable this option or disable it (depending on how you want your custom Infection gametype to behave) to broaden the potential offered to the custom games and forging community The point of my post? Complaining gets you no where and makes you look silly Think before you post. If you want something to be considered seriously by whomever you are addressing your feedback to, express it in a mature and constructive matter. That's the best way to get the sort of resolution that you're looking for.
  9. As the title says. I enjoy the side story here but it is just stupidly easy even on legendary and far too short. I thought Spartan Ops would be a challenge but it is just a cakewalk. Is this going to change over time?
  10. Hi guys, Might be a bit of a silly question (I'm not getting much game time with Halo 4 due to work) but can I play Coop campaign with more than 2 players? Or is it restricted to 2? I was thinking about this the other day. I remember Halo 3 being 4-player for coop which was awesome but I don't remember Reach having 4-player Coop. And yes, I tried Google but I'm not getting any help there. Thanks people
  11. You should probably be saving yourself an arm and a leg by getting a recharge kit for your controllers. In terms of durability, it really boils down to how the controller is used by the user. If it is thrown against the wall repeatedly, dropped, stepped on, etc then it will start to wear and tear. These controllers are designed to be incredibly durable but like all technology, over use/age will lead to a general deterioration and potential compromised integrity That being said, 2-3 years isn't that long but it could be faulty if it keeps losing its ability to pair up with your Xbox 360

    New Weapons

Yeah it'd be neat if they did a retro pack with say, Halo 2 maps and Halo 2 weapons (like the SMG, Brute Plasma Rifle, etc), then did the same for the other games
  13. You'd probably be better off jumping into a coop game and getting the other player to grab the terminal for you. As far as I know, once a terminal is obtained in coop, it is saved for both of the players. Hope that helps!
  14. This is fantastic! I'm assuming that you have put this on your fileshare? I'm asking because I would like to download this
  15. From what I have played with so far in Halo 4's Forge Mode, I've liked it and I think it is a step in the right direction but a few things I would have liked to have seen (Not sure if these are all not in Halo 4 as I haven't played around in Forge enough yet to be adept with it): -Weather selection. This would have been an awesome addition. Night time? Day time? Foggy? Raining? <-- I've wanted this for a long time. -Too many Forerunner structures. This is starting to get stale. It would be good to have a structure 'palette' to cycle a particualr piece of scenery (ie, you could pick a Forerunner/UNSC/Covenant variant of the structure you picked) <-- This is a step in the right direction -Once again, I'm not sure if this is covered in the zone trait thingo's but it would be good to remove abilities like jumping, creating kill zones, etc to help with map creation ideas -Grouping Forge objects. (ie, you create a group name, and link them to a cluster of objects so that you can duplicate them as a group and manipulate the duplicated group together. Would help with absolute structural symmetry when making maps with two bases, etc) I do hope they start expanding in what Forge can offer
  16. Did the DLC code prompt you to download the skin or did it say that it was invalid? If it says that it is invalid, perhaps call Xbox Support and see if they can verify this being the case or not. Could also potentially be a case of an employer of wherever you got the code entering it before handing it out (there is a slim chance but it is possible). I'm not sure they could do anything about it but if Xbox Support confirm that the code was used prior to you receiving it, then it might be a case of having to go back to the store you got it from and dispute it, which (so long as you are polite) should end in your favor. Previously having worked in a videogame store for several years, I do know that generally speaking, pre-order codes were given not really based on pre-order counts of the said store. Say a store made 20 pre-orders, they might still get given 40 pre-order codes unless the publisher was strict with the particular DLC item/code/freebie numbers. If however you were able to download the actual DLC item to your console, just turn your Xbox 360 off, turn it back on, sign into XBL and launch Halo 4. I had a few issues with my DLC codes but after doing that it worked. Failing this, call Xbox Support and they might be able to assist. Hope that helps. Good luck!
  17. Agreed. Spartan Ops does need to be MUCH harder and longer though. Very lackluster in its current format.
  18. I really enjoyed the campaign. Like you, I played it on Legendary for my first playthrough and to be honest, before getting close to the release date of Halo 4, I was very apprehensive but as a Halo CE day one purchase fan who has followed the series since, I can safely say that it was probably my favourite game out of the lot. It was a MASSIVE wink to the hardcore fans like me and others who have read all the books, and other lore and I thought the story telling in this game was particularly superior to its predecessors. The music score in this title as well was amazing. When I first heard that Halo 4's soundtrack would sound very different to the Halo tunes we have loved since Halo CE, I couldn't picture it working but the new tunes that have been crafted for this have been fantastic. One minor issue I did have however was the fact that (I don't know if it is just me) the sound quality drops during cutscenes. It goes from crystal clear sounds when playing to slightly muffled when using my surround sound headphones. It'd be good to get someone official to confirm if this is the case or not and why it happens. **minor spoilers** Another issue I had was with the first Halo 4 terminal cinematic with the Elite's talking. I'm nit-picking here I know, but their voices sounded strained and not fluent enough to sound natural. When they were speaking their 'language' to one another it just sounded like gibberish and didn't actually sound good at all. It was audibly easy to tell that the voice actors had no idea what they were saying either. I'm not sure if 343i used the services of the Language Creation Society or a group similar to assist in creating a Sangheili language but a suggestion I'd make is that perhaps in future, get whoever designed the language to sit near the recording booths to assist the voice actors with proper pronunciation of specific words or sentences. One thing I thought was especially neat was the fact that it seemed as though some of the best moments in previous Halo titles were re-iterated in Halo 4 such as the warthog/ghost runs, the mission in the jungle environment, etc. I've played Spartan Ops and finished it. I really liked how it was almost like a secondary short campaign but it was just too easy and short. I hope the next chapters are much longer and much harder. I really like the multiplayer as well. Playing Flood mode is great (the only gametype I have played so far) but it scares the crap out of me whenever I get swarmed by Flood Spartans So all in all, very happy with this title! Nice work 343i!
