  2. On this week's Destiny Drawing Board, Bungie took a look at a new all terrain vehicle, the Shrike. The Shrike is sort of an all terrain mobile bike, it is quick and nimble, and somewhat standard issue. It lacks in it's ability to be offensive and is used more as a means of transport or exit. The shrike is a fully modifiable vehicle and comes standard issue with three different paint schemes to match your guardian class. Tom Doyle stated: "The Shrike is something that you'll upgrade over time in Destiny, Right off the bat, the Shrike has three distinct paint themes that correspond to your particular Class." The vehicle was made as a way to get rid of pesky menu fast travel and to create a more immersive experience on Destiny's worlds. It is made to represent your guardian and how you play. Though the article was rather short, it included a selection of photos and renders of the Shrike in action. All photos in the spoiler box below. What do you think of the Shrike so far? 8. Respawn has revealed how you can enter into the Titanfall beta on Xbox One and PC! On Titanfall.com, instructions are listed on how players can get their hands on Titanfall early, by accessing the beta of the game. This beta IS exclusive to PC and Xbox One, and no Xbox 360 beta has been announced at this time. Beta signup ends on February 14th at 4:00pm PST. On the website, simply click your platform and an email may get sent guaranteeing your code on Xbox One or PC. Seats are limited, so it is vital to enter as quickly as possible if one were to get their hands on a key. 9. You know the usual drill, where I get the stars of this forum's reactions on pieces of gaming news from around the globe, today I have a very special member with me today. This month's member was a recent addition to the Promotions and Events and has been my friend for a long time, give it up for... Onsoku- Wait wait wait, I made a mistake. I meant give it up for... D-38 Boss! EK: Since Battlefield 4's buggy launch, fans of Titanfall worldwide are incredibly scared that Titanfall will launch in the same form or worse, do you think that EA has wiped that slate clean, or that we will see Titanfall brought in a messy state, based on past EA Performance with triple A titles? D3: Truly, no game is safe from bugs nowadays. Battlfield 4 had many issues, but predominantly because it was rushed to match CoD Ghosts. Do I think Titanfall will have bugs? yes. Will it be to the extent BF4 had possibly, but unlikely. EK: With the recent pushback of the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, do you believe the last generation of consoles should stop distribution of new games as they seem to lack hardware for next generation games, leading those games to be brought down? D3: I don't think the older systems should NOT have new releases, considering the hefty price of the next gen consoles, however, there are certain games, such as Battlefield 4 and GTA V, that struggle with the older gen systems. I think companies should take a bit more time to make the older console versions a little more compatible. EK: Do you think the fact that Titanfall is an Xbox and PC Exclusive actually harms the game and it's sales and that Respawn and EA should consider broadening the title's launch platforms? D3: I don't think it would hurt to expand to PS4/3, but I dont think it's necessary, as the large number of Xbox fans, and PC only gamers will do well enough sales-wise. EK: On the subject of sales, do you believe Titanfall may sell less due to it's exclusion of Single-Player features and an only online system, as players will see this as not being worth the $60 price tag? D3: That may be an issue later, as player populations drop. without a singleplayer, Titanfall will eventually become unplayable. Even Chromehounds (One of my favorite games) had a singleplayer, but now there's no online servers, the game is practically pointless. EK: Do you believe that Titanfall will match or even exceed the sales of it's rival's system seller (which releases just weeks apart) Infamous: Second Son, or will it bomb compared to Sony's flagship PS4 seller in March? D3: That could go either way. Titanfall is a new IP, with a lot of hype around it, whereas Infamous: Second Son is the third game in the Infamous Series. Personally, being a huge fan of Sucker Punch Productions, (Sly Cooper FTW) I'm leaning a little more towards Infamous. But like I said, it could go either way. Thanks to Boss for the wonderful interview and tune in next time for another volume of Reactions with the Stars of the Community!
  10. Fishy but if that fails... WUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUMBO PATRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK Whichever you chose floats my boat.
  11. EA Predicts their new franchise, Titanfall, is going to be around for a very long time. With Titanfall's exclusive Xbox and PC launch coming up shortly, EA is already in discussion on Downloadable Content and Sequel titles. Originally during the Stifel Technology, Media, and Entertainment Conference, covered by Gamespot.com, Titanfall was spoken about. As most have already heard, Titanfall may not be exclusive to Xbox and PC in the future as the license is limited. Adding to this sequel news, Blake Jorgenson, EA's CFO, has predicted a long-term success for Titanfall. His statement said nothing but compliments to the new shooter, as he stated that Titanfall: "piece of IP that is now very different from anything you've ever seen, very exciting gameplay. As you can imagine, [Titanfall] will be a franchise that's around for long, long time." Titanfall will be releasing on March 11th on Xbox One and PC, the Xbox 360 version will be launched about two weeks later. A closed beta has been confirmed and details of the way to access it have been kept under the rug with Respawn. Will you be purchasing Titanfall sequels and DLC?
  12. I smell a Skyrim mod to come from this... Sword looks deadly, but not exactly like the energy sword, though, that's probably impossible. Still looks awesome.
  13. Happy 1 Year Anniversary for the WSW! Maybe you should do a 'Best of the WSW' thread with the best stuff from other WSWs? Good job Drizzy!
  14. Welcome to the forums friend! It's cool to have other fandoms too, as you can tell by my name, I'm a huge Assassins Creed fanboy! Have a fun time, and play by the rules!
  15. If you plan to buy the Wolf Among Us Season Pass, be wary, as you could be asked to pay twice. The Wolf Among Us Season 2 was seen as a bit of a slide down from the intensity of Season 1, but it still ranked very well among the charts, and with it's launch came a cluster of glitches, one being exclusive to Xbox Live users. When the Season Pass is downloaded, and users attempted to access Season 2, they were asked to purchase it again from the marketplace, despite already owning it. In a post on Telltale Games' own website, Telltalegames.com, they stated that they are working with Microsoft to resolve the issues, and are, in the meantime, passing out free codes to Season Pass owners as a reimbursement for the issue. The company expects the issue to be fixed within the next several days, and asks users to be patient about the problem. What do you think so far of The Wolf Among Us and are you excited for Season 3?
  16. The Limited Edition Titanfall Controllers for Xbox One have begun shipping runs. With the recent announcement of Titanfall being delayed on the Xbox 360, a bit of joyous news has hit the internet as a user on Reddit.com confirmed his order for a Limited Edition Titanfall Controller for Xbox One had begun shipping from the Microsoft Store. He said it would be arriving sometime during the week. The controller itself has received critical praise for it's aesthetic appearance and overall form, and it remains to be seen if it can top the standard Xbox One controller gameplay wise. Another gamer reported his credit card had been charged, a sure sign that the order has been confirmed and is now beginning the shipping process. Unboxing videos will be for sure floating around in the coming days for Microsoft's snazzy new Titanfall themed controller. Will you be ordering the controller alongside Titanfall, or just Titanfall or the Controller separately?
  17. I understand your situation, not fully, as I am a male, but I've seen my fair share of jerks like this who like to make fun of people, honestly, attacking them back makes you just as guilty. My advice is ignore them, or simply ask them to stop, usually, harassers will stop if you ask them to, kindly I might add. There are the small percentage who won't, and they are the scum of the internet, so simply ignore them. I'm not saying ditch online all together, try to find people online who are kind and respectful, and add those people, when you have enough, play with them. Trust me when I say, 75% of guys aren't like this online usually, and 99.9% of the guys on this forum are as respectful to girls as they are to other guys, I saw like one incident once so that's the .1%. Anyways, just ignore the pestering jerks, or seek help from a friend. Added note: Don't proclaim you are a girl like said above, it's fine to speak, but don't say stuff like, "Oh, you just killed a girl are you happy?" THAT is a trigger for guys to begin annoying you, just play like normal, and there's less of a chance of something like this happening.
  18. I like you, I like you a lot. You hate the demon bread Bnus, so I automatically like you. Welcome to the forums Buddy!
  19. Bluepoint Games has been given two extra weeks to work on the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall. With Titanfall receiving such critical acclaim and being nearly a month away from launch, fans will be saddened to hear that the Xbox 360 version of the game has been delayed. This was recently announced at Ea.com by EA's Vice President. The original release dates, March 11th in North America and March 13th in Europe, have been pushed about two weeks back for the current generation version, with a March 25th launch in North America and a March 28th launch in Europe. This push does not affect the Xbox One and PC versions of Titanfall. View attachment: titanfall-gamescom.jpg When asked, Electronic Arts' own vice president Patrick Söderlund gave defense for the push back, saying: "To give them the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe. The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience." With these steps, the game may not launch in as bad of a state as the previous EA title, Battlefield 4, but has this decision made you want to switch your pre-order to a next gen copy? 22. Well, it's a top down shooter based off Halo, my guess is its okay. From the reviews I've seen it's mediocre, if you liked Halo Wars, this isn't remotely halo wars... It's a shooter made to entice HW fans, but really, it's the same formula as most halos before it. For 15 dollars plus microtransactions, wait until its a bit less.
  23. The System Requirements and Origin limitations for Titanfall have been revealed. Titanfall, being developed by Electronic Arts, is no surprise similar to past EA titles in it's restrictions and specs. Starting off, when asked about it during a fan tweet on Twitter.com, Vince Zampella, Respawn Boss, revealed that Origin is required to play Titanfall on Computers. This is likely to cause some annoyance as most PC users run on Steam, a system of game purchasing made by Valve, which has received mostly positive reviews compared to the mixed to negative reviews of EA's system, Origin. To add fuel to the fire, a previous EA Published Title, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning did not require Origin to play. Another piece of news for the PC version of Titanfall, the system requirements have been revealed, and have received positive feedback. People praise the low RAM requirements, but have given negative comments relating to the required 64bit version of Windows. The full list of requirements is also at Vince Zampella's feed at Twitter.com where he originally posted this info. Are you boycotting buying Titanfall all together after this announcement?
