  1. Following the recent cuts in sales, Nintendo is on it's way to a full blown shutdown. With the recent announcement of the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS' projected sales being cut down drastically, the company took a huge hit in their stock, going down 17.09%. The share price now sits at $14.89, compared to the almost $18 it started with today. To make things worse, their numbers seem to have gone down an incredible amount when compared to their amount less then a week ago, at over $19. This number was the highest it had been since 2012, and was a signal that the company might finally be out of their array of oncoming losses. Following both of these announcements, Nintendo's CEO Satoru Iwata gave an apology to all of the company's investors, and also stated today that he would not be resigning due to these events. "There will be no major management shake-up in the short term," Check in on my previous article about the price cuts if you would like the full picture of what is currently happening to Nintendo, and how this particular event came to be. 3. At the VGX, one of the main highlights was the announcement of No Man's Sky, which has players, console and PC, revved up in anticipation. But recently, an alleged 3,000 person beta circled around the web, Hello Games, the developers, is now warning people to avoid this, as it is a scam. The developers took to their twitter, cautioning anyone looking into this beta system, the company said below: "Hey, so if you hear about any kind of No Man's Sky beta, it isn't anything to do with us," When investigating the site, there are telltale signs of a scam, as it asks you to "click this button" to access it. As a friendly warning, don't unless you want a virus of some kind. Source: Twitter.com
  4. Linkin Park, they are just... -smiles as rainbows leak from teeth like radiation- If you could have a one-on-one Skype chat with a fictional character of any game, which character would you choose?
  5. Jet Pack bro, I could just fly everywhere, all a Lightsaber can do is swish-swish If you could be featured on the cover of any current gen game, what game would it be?

  8. Nintendo is now ever closer to falling off that slippery slope they have landed on. Nintendo's recent Next-Gen console, the Wii U, was met with positive feedback at launch, but since it has dwindled due to a lack of exclusives and games. The company originally targeted the sales of the Wii U at 9 Million consoles, they have demolished this number down to a mere 2.8 Million by the end of march, a major loss on their part. The successful 3DS also took a hit, going down from 18 Million to 13 Million. Nintendo forcasted profits of 55 Billion yen originally, but they are now in a deep hole expecting a net loss of 25 Billion yen. It is sales in the US and European markets causing this, as they were significantly lower then Nintendo expected. "In particular, sales in the US and European markets in which we entered the year-end sales season with a hardware markdown were significantly lower than our original forecasts, with both hardware and software sales experiencing a huge gap from their targets," As said, the 3DS surprisingly did not perform to the best of it's abilities either, as it was seemingly met with critical success at first. Currently, we are not aware of the 3DS' earnings, but it likely fared better then Nintendo's Wii U. "Using the US market as an example, Nintendo 3DS became the top-selling platform in the last calendar year... however, the estimated annual sales of the Nintendo 3DS hardware remain significantly lower than our initial forecast at the beginning of the fiscal year." 11. The next Hitman packs an array of surprises for us on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Square Enix and IO Interactive has recently revealed some interesting details about the next Hitman. In an open letter, they said it will follow Agent 47 at the peak of his Career. He will be "stalking prey" across the globe with his familiar handlers, Diana Burnwood and the whole of the ICA. The game will go back to the basics of what Hitman is, using a diverse pack of tools, tricks, and devices to take out groups of targets across an array of exotic locations on Earth. The game will be taking a different route, being non-linear and open. The maps will be sandbox-like in approach and checkpoint-free. This is to create a living, breathing environment with believable levels. As an added bonus, Contract mode, where you can make your own challenges in the world for players to complete, will be returning in the next game. A scare also recently launched that the project was shut down, thankfully, this has been put to rest by this news. Source: IGN.com

  14. 343 Industries dropping more news at the next generation Halo and inevitably leaking valuable info. 343 Industries released a job listing recently for someone experienced in Online and Connection Engineering to go to work on a Halo title. Taking detailed info from the article, they are looking for someone who will work on a "new experience in the Halo universe." They will be helping 343i to deliver Online and Connected Experiences for the mentioned Halo title. They will collaborate with other designers, to deliver polished code as well. View attachment: New-1.JPG1.JPG To qualify, the person needs to have Experience with services development and at least 5 years of C++ Expertise. Finally, a big red flag, "Experience on a current Generation AAA game title." This could hint at a Halo experience being released on the 360. Furthermore, it could just be that you need experience on the past gen to qualify. So what do you guys think? Is this a current generation title for Halo, or just simply looking too deeply into this? 16. The upcoming game Evolve for PS4, Xbox One, and PC is getting a hefty batch of Pre-Order bonuses at participating retailers. Creators of the immensely popular zombie game Left 4 Dead are releasing a next-gen title called Evolve in fall, alongside this release are some sweet pre-order bonuses, including a skin called "Savage Goliath" and a new monster coming at a yet un-announced release date. If you are unfamiliar with Evolve, it is an upcoming title where you and three friends battle against a fifth person, who plays a monster. More monster varieties and upgrades are available in-game, leading to multiple different outcomes each playthrough. So now that pre-order bonuses have surfaced, are you enticed to Pre-order Evolve? 18. Infinity Ward, developer of the recent FPS hit, Call of Duty: Ghosts, has teased a new Expansion Pack for the game, called Onslaught. The pack is planned to add four multiplayer maps, Fog, Bayview, Containment, and Ignition, one Extinction map, Nightfall, and two weapons, the Maverick Assault Rifle, and Sniper Rifle. These teases came in multiple forms, whether the recent video on the company's Instagram, with the words "Something menacing is coming Jan. 28. Get ready for the #Onslaught." or the leaked photo above. The other DLC names were also revealed, including this one, Onslaught, Devastation, Invasion, and Nemesis were added to the list, with the first letter in each spelling out ODIN, the satellite system featuring prominently in the Single-Player. The pack released first for Xbox on January 28th, and it is unknown when it will release for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, and Wii U. Source: IGN
  19. Titanfall is a completely different brand of game all together, differing from others due to it's lack of a single-player story, and the hope that multi-player alone can sell it. This has made the game difficult to market according to the game's producers. Drew McCoy, producer, basically stated the norm of trailers, with multiple scripted Single-player moments, and how Titanfall is instead a blend of shots of real game-play in a live multi-player, usually at around 3-5 minutes. This of course shows the flow of a normal game, creating a more realistic picture of how it will play. He also explained that this was the reason they took pre-alpha builds to their reveals in places like PAX, so people could have hands-on playtime without them needing to polish a single-player mode. 20. ... WHAAAAAT?! ... Spoiler- "When someone reveals a previously unknown aspect of something which you likely would have rather learned on your own." That definition is from the urban dictionary... A rumor is COMPLEEEEEETLEY different dude.

  22. (I lost a bet) Ooooh, who would lead with patriotic salute, Yoshi would, Yoshi would, Who would save us from the iron boot, Yoshi would, Yoshi would, Who would cradle us from the dark, Yoshi, Yoshi, Yoshi, Yoshi would, Oppressed by the chains of his locks, He still cannot prosper and soar, But if your paths ever cross, He's not that stupid Dinosaur, Yoshi, Yoshi, Yoshi, Yoshi would, GOOOOO YOSHI!
  23. That may not happen. Halo: Spartan Assault is on Windows 8, Halo 1 and 2 were on PC as well, and it's likely Halo 3 on PC has been considered and tested many times. While they may not be on a Sony console anytime soon, it would be amazing if they were, because a Game should be on every platform possible. I don't play PC, but it'd be awesome if Destiny was also on it. I don't play Civilization 5, but it would be awesome on the One and PS4. More platforms mean more success for a game, so why limit it?
  24. What about this incriminating post from earlier, eh? ADMIT IT, YOU ARE ILLUMINATI!
