  1. Bluepoint Games has been given two extra weeks to work on the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall. With Titanfall receiving such critical acclaim and being nearly a month away from launch, fans will be saddened to hear that the Xbox 360 version of the game has been delayed. This was recently announced at Ea.com by EA's Vice President. The original release dates, March 11th in North America and March 13th in Europe, have been pushed about two weeks back for the current generation version, with a March 25th launch in North America and a March 28th launch in Europe. This push does not affect the Xbox One and PC versions of Titanfall. View attachment: titanfall-gamescom.jpg When asked, Electronic Arts' own vice president Patrick Söderlund gave defense for the push back, saying: "To give them the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe. The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers has an awesome experience." With these steps, the game may not launch in as bad of a state as the previous EA title, Battlefield 4, but has this decision made you want to switch your pre-order to a next gen copy?
  2. Minecraft Playstation 4 delayed The Playstation 4 version of the popular game Minecraft has been delayed because it 'failed' the final testing stage. It was only last week when 4J Studios announced that they had finished Minecraft for the Playstation 4 and were awaiting a green light from Sony. Today 4J Studios announced that Sony found issues with the game and that it failed the final testing stage. This means 4J is going to fix it and go through the entire process once again. "Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of MinecraftPS4. We're fixing, but we need to go through the process again." -4J Studios Minecraft for the Playstation 4, along with the Xbox One and Playstation Vita versions, was set to release this month. But since August is almost coming to an end it seems more and more unlikely that these versions are going to be on the shelves in time. Has this delay affected you in any way? Let me know down below! 5. The PS4 will be delayed until early 2014 for Europe as Sony released some of their other hardware late in Europe but plans for a 2013 release for the US and Japan still seem to be intact. More details below This article is from Gamingbolt Sources have told Edge that the PS4 will indeed be releases in Japan and the United States at the end of this year, but that it will miss a 2013 European release date and come out in the region early in 2014. This might just happen. Sony has had a history of releasing some of their hardware late in Europe, a la the PSP and the PS Vita (which released late in US too). Edge also detailed several new features that the PS4 will boast of, according to its source, in its article. The first one was an improved version of the PS Eye. The PS4 will also ship with a redesigned controller. “[it will be] the same size as an existing DualShock but features a small touchpad in place of the existing Select, Start and PS buttons,” reads the reports. “The tech is based on Vita’s rear touchpad, and is similarly responsive in use.” “A new Share button on the controller will, when pressed, launch a new feature that will allow screenshots and video to be distributed online,” the article added. “The PS4 hardware will continually record the most recent 15 minutes of onscreen action (with no processing penalty, claims our source), which users will then be able to edit and broadcast via the Internet.” The PS4 is likely to be announced on February 20th.
