One of Ubisoft's next entries into it's popular Assassin's Creed franchise, Assassin's Creed Rogue, is coming to PC in 2015. So far, Assassin's Creed Rogue has been labeled as the last generation counterpart to Assassin's Creed Unity, which is exclusive to PC, PS4, and Xbox One. IGN.com reports that Assassin's Creed Rogue is sharing one platform so far with Unity, the PC. Ubisoft confirmed the game will launch primarily on the PS3 and Xbox 360 this holiday, and in early 2015 the game will launch on PC. When questioned about the idea of a release on the current generation consoles, the Xbox One and the PS4, Ubisoft declined to comment, not answering with a 'yes' or a 'no'. So it's all but confirmed Rogue will come to the Xbox One and PS4, and it will definitely come to PC in early 2015. Ubisoft Sofia also teased the modern day portion of the game, saying we'd get a peak at it in a few weeks. Whether this means an announcement soon or us finding out once we get hands on on the game, which launches in about a month, is unknown. If you were excited for the Coagulation remake in Halo 2 Anniversary, Bloodline, than I have an awesome picture you'll love to see! Coagulation has been one of the most hyped up reveals in Halo 2: Anniversary, with scant details and no pictures but one of concept art surfacing, that is, until now. Halo4Nation.com posted the picture, and Hell Verruckt linked me to it, so thanks Hell/Self Destruct! Clearly there have been changes from the last iteration in Halo Reach, the map tone is truer to it's Halo 2 counterpart with a gritty brown colour palette. As well, a new addition to the bases, a glowing blue or red spire on top of the bases, has been added. There is also a strange formation to the left, and a blue light emmiting from an unknown source in the back of the blue base. It is likely that this is a still unfinished variant of the map, as there is a lack of vehicles and weaponry, and what seems like a barren terrain compared to the concept art. If you're interested in picking up a PS4 this holiday season for LittleBigPlanet 3, a bundle has been listed that might be right up your alley! LittleBigPlanet is a universally praised game, even if you're a hardcore PC elitist who lights every PS4 they see, you most likely like LBP, and with the third coming out, it's no surprise people are excited. Amazon.co.uk listed a bundle today including a PS4 and, you guessed it, LittleBigPlanet 3! It will be available for £386.78, or about $617 in US dollars for people to get a scale of the price. It includes the typical features of a PS4 bundle, the game, a jet black controller, the headset (ear pieces), and of course the jet black console. The bundle will launch in Europe on November 21st, 2014, and it is unknown if the console bundle will become available in the American regions any time soon. It seems lately European countries have gotten the better end of the stick in terms of bundles, with a Driveclub bundle, a TLOU bundle, and of course, the White PS4 Destiny bundle with the logo inscribed on the console. If you're one of the four people that wasn't disappointed in Creative Assembly enough to boycott their products, than I have great news! IGN.com reports that Total War Attila, the newest entry in the Total War franchise, has been announced! The game will feature the historical figure, Attila the Hun, and run for 60-70 years in-game. The main event in the game will be Attila's rise to power, when he is born and reaches adult-hood in 395 AD. You can play as either the Old Roman Empire or the New Roman Empire, but the most risky approach is being around the steppes in the Far East, where Attila will spawn. The only strategies are to attempt to divert Attila to enemies on the map or to defend yourself as best as possible. As well, new features have been added like the ability to raze cities when they are too damaged and a damage count from sieges to your defenses. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Nathan Drake Render Revealed Fans of the Uncharted series by Naughty Dog have been scraping at the facets of every little detail to find some new piece of info to quench their urge, prepare to be quenched in this case. GameInformer.com reported on one of Uncharted's game developers, by the name of Kurt Margenau, posting what looks like an in-game render of Drake's face. This was posted to celebrate Naughty Dog's 30th Anniversary this week, honoring all of their past titles, (except Crash Bandicoot). It is clear that this is an upgrade, with more detail going into Nathan's face alone than ever seen in an Uncharted game. Drake looks quite a bit older as well, with a rougher face than we last saw. It is unknown how far into the game this photo is, or if more work will be done to the render, so expect changes from what we see here when the game launches next year. Ryse: Son of Rome PC Version Removes Micro-transactions Are you excited for Ryse: Son of Rome coming to PC? Yeah, me neither, but anyway the game will be removing the Xbox One's addition of micro-transactions according to GameSpot.com. Crytek attempted to explain how the game wasn't just cashing in on a dying title, with the removal of microtransactions, new visual features, etc. Among other things, they gave the usual explainations of improved visual textures, all the downloadable content, and all that other juicy content that no one asked for and no one wants. One actually kind of interesting new addition though is support for the Xbox One controller for the game on PC. It will launch on October 10th, so go pre-order now! Or don't, doesn't affect me. Police Called Into Gearbox Studios for Bomb Threat As if people weren't doing enough illegal or flat out crazy things in the gaming industry, we can now worry about car bombs near studios. This article was reported by GameInformer.com, today, Texas police were called in to the Gearbox Studios parking lot with reports of a car bomb. Randy Pitchford, who was in the building at the time, sent out a hail of tweets updating the situation as it went on. Police weren't able to find anything, however it is unclear if this was even a threat or possibly a 'Swatting' scenario, swatting being someone calling the police to an address despite nothing unusual going on, usually a form of trolling. Nothing is known besides the fact that everything is all clear at this time, though I'll update if I find more info. Microsoft has announced the newest version of Windows, Windows 10! Wait... What?! You may not believe this, but Microsoft has announced Windows 10, no, not Windows 9, Windows 10. IGN.com reported the news, hailing a list of new features like improved flexibility, app windowing on the desktop, and more. Also, they have a new multitasking feature implemented, allowing people to do two things at once, sort of like on the Xbox One's pinning feature. A program for those who want to test the new OS first has also been revealed, when this will launch is currently unknown. The system is set to launch in 2015, a confirmed date has yet to be revealed for this as well. Below is an example screenshot of the new UI menu. Halo is licensed to Microsoft, and in particular, Xbox, so while Microsoft realistically could put it on Windows, why would they? Their new Xbox One is being battered 3-1 by the PS4, they need these exclusives to stay exclusive unless they want people to migrate platforms. I am a multiplatform gamer, but, I don't have any hopes of Halo: Reach, let alone any newer Halo, coming to PC or PS anytime soon.
