Feedback: Notifications on 3 or 4 player splitscreen block my view

I have some feedback regarding a specific issue.

 

When playing with 3 or 4 LOCAL players on split screen, the blue kill / death notifications that pop up get in the way of my view (player x killed player y, you were killed while reloading, etc.) In 3 player mode, it doesn't affect the first player -- it only affects someone who has a 1/4 screen-sized area. To make matters worse, the aiming reticule and the notification text are practically the same color, so when the notifications cover up the reticule, it is very difficult to aim.

 

This is a hard thing to describe, so I've included a picture.

 

 

It would be great if there was an option to disable the kill/death notifications, or move them to the bottom of the screen, or change the color of the aiming reticule, or something. This is really annoying and can make the game almost unplayable in 3-4 player split screen, especially if there are a lot of notifications happening.

 

If anyone from 343 is reading this, it would be great if this could be fixed in a future release. Thanks!

I really do hope this is fixed, that looks like a terrible problem!

I feel your pain man, my thought on this is unfortunately local play has become something of the past and there is only a couple playlists that support 3-4 local players. This is just one of those things that gets overlooked cause it's just not used as much. Hope it gets fixed in the future cause I still like local play.

Yeah the killfeed needs to be fixed in Halo4, I play exclusively split screen now because I dont have my xbox and its beyond frustrating to lose a 1v1 because someone died and the text crosses my reticle.
