Joining game and then kicked out to Main Menu in Multiplayer

I try finding a game, I get to the UNSC emblem rotating around and then right when I'm about to enter the game, it kicks me back out to the main menu. It seems to happen at random times. Sometimes I get in, sometimes I don't. I haven't been able to play Capture the flag at all. This happens when trying to play any game type though.

 

I have an older white xbox 360 w/HDMI. I tried deleting the files off my hard drive and then putting them back on and no luck. I have another xbox which is my brothers, and with the same disc, it seems to work fine for him. Any suggestions?
