  1. Agent Locke. Confirmed by Frankie. All the sound effects in the trailer didn't convey the gravitas of the name enough, plus it was Arbiter speaking. Just because you're troubled, doesn't mean you are "mad". Forward Unto Dawn's Lasky was certainly troubled with the UNSC. Cortana was troubled with the UNSC. Halsey was troubled with the UNSC. A bunch of people have been 'troubled' by aspects of the military, which is certainly something to be expected considering your job is now to kill millions in the protection of your people.
  2. Proof please. I really don't think Locke would be "Mad" at the UNSC.
  3. As long as the matchmaking system isn't utterly idiotic then there is no reason why playing badly shouldn't demote you. I'd be very happy if we had divisions back.
  4. How do we know Locke doesn't like the UNSC? And yes, it's been 100% confirmed. Marlowe was the casting call name for Halo: Nightfall for the role of Agent Locke.
  5. :P Confirmed by Frankie, Agent Locke IS Marlowe. Marlowe was the codename during casting.
  6. I don't like the armor shown in the Beta trailer. Looks like it's made out of Plasticine. And it is only a small portion of the game itself; just the 'arena' parts of the game. :/
  7. Apparently, Frankie confirmed it's Marlowe though I think that's just random internet stuff. If Marlowe's surname is Locke, then yay. Because the new character is called Agent Locke by the Arbiter. ://
  8. He's back. Even if it was for the MC collection trailer, we know for a fact that the situation the Arbiter is in will tie perfectly into Halo 5.
  9. That vote system though. 3 votes for 3 maps on 3 different games, and it basically loads up that game's engine and map to play a game of multiplayer on? <3 <3
  10. Was that the Arbiter telling the Guardian to follow the MC's story? If that's the canon reason why we get to play through the entire MC campaign, that's cool. Plus, Halo 2 multiplayer remake? YES. ARENA MULTIPLAYER FOR HALO 5? YES.

  11. GMT is 5 hours ahead of EST; however, when people say EST they usually talk about 'Eastern Standard Time' in accordance to the USA's east coast states, all of which have clicked the button for DST. With DST having been activated, so to speak, stuff is now an hour ahead for EST; that's why the difference between EST and GMT is 4 hours now. Of course, GMT is a fairly ambiguous timezone; it wholly depends on where you live even if you're in GMT.
  12. GMT = 4 hours in front of EST. Don't worry; there is a 100% chance that people on the internet will put up the entire press conference.
  13. No. I've seen it. If you think I'm wrong I guess you could ask a mod to wipe my post.
  14. "I am better than the average journalists in the american system" <--- I've heard you say this countless of times. Is this not proclaiming that you are better than the system or are my eyes deceiving me? As for RP's, this place never had the big potential for it. An RP isn't sustainable with 3 or 4 or 5 or so people; that is possibly the number of people in a small interaction thread. I've lost hope for RP's on 343i.org; not with the current population of people who have an interest in cohesive storytelling. Not only that, but I've always maintained a belief that for an TBRPG to do well and survive it needs to be sandbox instead of linear; most of the Halo RP's we've had on this forum have all been linear.
  15. watch doge probably has the most replayability out of all those and if your aim is to pretty much stall till Destiny/Halo 5 then yeah, it's the way to go.
  16. dang timezones Team Black was my first guess BB?
  17. MLG X-GAMES WTF. Replay that game between Envy and Curse. WHEN YOU TRIPLE CAP THE ENEMY TEAM THE GAME SHOULD NOT SPAWN THEM AT YOUR SPAWN AND GIVE THEM 2 FREE CAPS AND TRAP YOU AT B. GG GHOSTS.

  18. Ahhhhhh...... Director, it's BBCode. Not BBC Code. Stands for Bulletin Board Code。
  19. Not everybody has Gold, an active console playtime, or even an Xbox. We aren't a site dedicated to playing the Xbox together; we're a site dedicated to talking about a game franchise we know called Halo. The ability to change my name a billion times to reflect the things I love, the things I enjoy, the fads I jump on, the points I stand behind, only further enforces the feeling of community. It has never, ever been hard for me to figure out where a person's post is, nor is it hard for me to figure out gamertags considering most people put it in their profile, which is visible just by hovering over a person's name or looking at their post itself. It certainly isn't hard to figure out who is who; all it takes is 2 buttons to be pressed. I joined and made a name I loved. Then switched to a name I loved. Then switched to a name I loved. Then switched to a name I loved. And I love it.
