  1. im not a dev. that would be for 343 to decide. most likely (if used), it would be a dlc skull. this line got my attention based on the previous posts, we are just 2 bricks walls that refuse to move. wasnt trying to offend. (posts: 5, 8, 10-13) plz just color the text next time instead of adding numbers to a numbered list. or quote each line as the point have you seen the weapon properties on a weapon in forge mode? you got the following options: 0 1 2 3 4 5 with the current setup, all the ai have 5 with bottomless clip. each difficulity would probably have the following amounts with a the dlc skull easy: 0 normal: 1 heroic: 2 legendary: 3 not most, only half (not including me) agrees [4]: ☢Self Destruct☢, Corporal Hicks, Teker, Minutes To Midnight disagrees [4]: Bob, Majora ~Maestro~ Jackson, Spyro, Axilus Prime

  5. i have the war games pass and every map pack the main problem is that every player in the lobby must also have the required map pack (as you stated above) when the dlc maps due appear, its either pick a gametype you dont like on the map or dont play the map crimson dlc did appear about a few weeks ago (i think the week before the championship) we need official dlc playlists for each map pack this isn't 343's official site. they only have a team of mods watching us what im going to do is... get all the future map packs first explore them in forge to get a feel for them play the temporary, 1 week playlist(s) of the new maps search and hope we find them since they will be added to playlist rotation for current playlists

  9. i was playing ctf on ragnarok for big team skirmish. when i was scouting to see if there might be any sneaky enemies. my teammate's mongoose flips my undamaged ghost and i commit suicide. don't worry, they both are killed in the enemy base http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MceOAXwhang
  10. its not cheating if its normal gameplay. its cheating if the enemy manages a lagswitch, doesnt allow respawning when its enabled, or when the loadout you selected is changed to something you didnt edit i even have my problems with players who are better than me. all i can do is try again or quit the match and find another. if worst comes to worst, i can try to file a complaint if i notice any evidence that goes beyond gameplay (which is about every 1 in 100 games)

  12. first, this thread is about halo 4 general discussion second, you say that i want the easy way out? i never take the easy way out. have you looked at the players? we are the sitting ducks. have you tried playing legendary with no allies and no other weapons other than what you spawn with? have you tried taking on a group of 15 prometheans who have the advange and who also know your every move before it even happens? third, with matchmaking you can resupply or pick up a new weapon. at least everyone in the game (excluding flood), has to play by almost all the same settings. which means that no one has an advantage until the killing starts fourth, the last quote, i was talking about matchmaking because all the matches ive been in, thats what ive seen players do (except in areas where theres no cover) fifth, i see no point in replying again, as we will just be flooding this topic with your "ninja enemies" and "easy way taker" points. and my "enemies should feel it on the other foot" point as fifth said, the enemies should feel it on the other foot, not just on easy, but for all difficulites. having them run out of ammo trying to survive until they find another weapon, trying to survive a 3 shot kill from the under powered weapons, having to fail because they couldnt do more to save the objective if you cant see it this way, imagine this: 1,000 promethean knights with incineration cannons and binary rifles 1 path to the objective 100 wraiths, and 1,000 banshees waiting for you basically: being outnumbered with little hope of pass consider: this is a final exam. your score goes higher with more kills and goes lower with more deaths. your lucky to even score a 50 let me put it another way. you like multiplayer? be on a slayer team by yourself against 15 other players. all you have is a plasma pistol with limited ammo and you cant pick up another weapon, not even melee does nothing. your enemies all have rocket launchers with bottomless clips. all it takes is 1-2 shots to kill you since your damage res is at 50%. your dam mod is at 75%. your enemies dam mod is at 200% and dam res is at 200%. now you tell me how you expect to kill all 15 of them in the same life or do you expect to give them 1 million kills before you can finish them off

  14. i have decided to start posting any new maps i make in this here topic, instead of filling up the forge zone with 1 separate map maps posted before this topic starlight damnation info when i have to upload new maps, i will remove the oldest ones by the earliest date contact me if the map you want to get is not there submit all feedback by a pm and mention "{map name} feedback" in the subject please dont reply to this topic as it can help keep flood down and save valuable posting room information of how new maps are posted new maps this update: 3 map 1: halo store map 2: inner pillar of autumn (1st half) map 3: inner poa (2nd half) info about the next update a btb space map speed training maybe a few others not listed
  15. the marines stink as it is. no matter how many times i have let them drive, they let the warthog get to on fire points or end up driving off a cliff. when you give them a power weapon, they may get 1 or 2 kills but generally betray their teammates. sure its great that the marines spray and may help with a few kills. your enemies also kill your allies isnt that what half the players do? appear in sight, fire a whole clip, take cover upon low shields, repeat until either dead or enemies cleared i think i get it. have them start with weapons that are weak to medium weak and have them scout to find better weapons like we do no im not looking for the easy way out. its so much challenge on the last mission where you have to activate switches to lower the composers shield. if you die btwn the long flight and the shields lowered, you lose your better weapons and have to fight your way back up with default crappier weapons only to be ambushed by an incineration cannon. your saying that you want that happen on every mission? i have beat legendary solo, though it was very tough on half the missions. if you are feeling the heat of a plasma, most likely your stuck well said you 2 another intresting idea would be to have your ai enemies have limited ammo while you and your allies have a bottomless clip

    did you try Team Objective since it's objective focused. also, i think i have seen it under Multi Team. you can also try Grifball since its Bomb Ball and it helps with the Oddball Beatdown commendation.
  17. your comparison is hardly anything since your controlling a single player game with co-op to a game with multiplayer and other features. now, if you were to compare halo 3 to halo 4 that would be different
  18. ah, ok. a map generator? now that would be something to see. as for map remakes thats what their probably doing. recreating maps that both 343 and the community liked. before champion was announced, we thought castle was the last pack since all other halos have followed the 3 map pack releases (though time btwn releases varied). elephants wont be coming back, unless 343 was to edit the campaigin vehicle on that one halo 4 campaign mission. the heavy variants from halo 3 were my favorites, though we played the non heavy variants 3/4 the time. maybe i should try to get back into halo 3, ill doubt ill still be as good as my youtube videos (search "thequaliva" and look for playlist "halo 3"). im also going to attempt some other remakes

  20. the problem with the campaign search feature is that on halo reach, you would get a random mission and 3 choices: normal, heroic, legendary. most of the time we were playing normal. you can also choose None Of The Above and cycle through various missions 10 times. if 343 was to implement campaign search, you would get 3 random missions (excluding prolouge and epiloge) all on the same difficulity. if your allies quit out, you would be basically playing campaigin solo. and what if you wanted to put skulls on? the players in the co-op mission would be probably fighting over which skulls are activated and which ones they dont want i get what you saying for spartan ops matchmaking, you basically want reach's firefight matchmaking playlists (1 to find 4 players, the other to do by yourself). i even thought it was a good idea to allow players to vote on different episodes, missions, and difficulites. the problem with that is, the votes would be scattered and 4 different episodes would have 1 vote each. not even the tie resolver would move a vote so another episode can have 2 votes. 343 should implement a matchmaking search system so you can search by episode, vote for the mission, and then vote for the difficulity in addition to power-ups being present on maps for halo 1, halo 2, halo 3, halo reach, they should be on the maps and the ai cant pick them up. there are some weapons placed on the maps for episodes 6-10, though im not sure of any in particular. ordnance drops for spartan ops should give ammo or grenades. instead of you dying, waiting to respawn, and having to kill an enemy to obtain their weapon. for map remakes, someone has to remake the map to its exact layout, has to submit it so the community can like it and submit it to 343 and hope they like it with legendary skirmish, you left it blank auto forging can have too many problems. how will guilty spark know what you want to build? what if 343 builds a map layout that you dont like? i rather stick to manual forging and just build off whatever idea comes my way. there would be way too much extra scripting that 343 wouldnt want to do to make "auto forging" choices balanced. the problem with auto invite is, what if you didnt play any custom games with anyone else or cant get a custom lobby started, would it invite all your recent players who you met over halo 4 (only to have the invites turned down), or would it spam them every minute until they either A) block you or B} join your last statement. you want to go back to halo one and have players look around for ammo, equipment, and vehicles without the prompt to pick it up. then you want a button to pushed that alerts all your allies where its at just so they can mess with you by telling you where its at and then taking it. would the same concept apply to Free For All or some other gametype? to sum it up campaign search: NO spartan ops search: MAYBE power ups/weapons on map: MAYBE map remakes: TAKES TOO LONG auto forge: NO auto invite: NO scavanger hunt: NO
  21. im not sure why, but i think that if the dlc checking while searching detects one player who doesnt have the maps that ruins it for everyone. just like when the champion maps come out, the dlc playlist will be up for a couple of weeks and then its back to searching for players sure would be nice if 343 would put up a dlc playlist for all the map packs as for playing the other maps, ive only had it happen once (not when the rotating dlc playlist appears)

  23. does 343 have to copy the game modes from the latest call of duties? luckily, theres one gametype i like in AS or i wouldnt touch that playlist if you enjoy shortcuts instead of working for it, then have fun. tonights special will be a delicious ban with a side of a console ban want to inform 343 and microsoft to? they will surely understand
  24. i had the same problem. i pre-ordered halo 4 and got a code for some armor. i never was told about the code until i noticed a new message from XBL with a few codes. i forgot what they did but i believe they unlocked all specializations before they hit 50 (there was more than just wetwork and operator, but they were locked) answered there
