  1. first of all 343 doesnt check the forums, they just have mods who maintain the forums. i saw it in a post by someone by i forgot where i say it for your list 1: my favorite unsc air vehicle was the hornet in halo 3 2: after earning it, some players would look seeminly ugly like a purple left leg, a blue right leg, a brown belt, an orange left chest, a green right chest, a gray left arm, a red right arm, a yellow head. get what im saying? 3: being able to drive the vehicle in 1st person would be nicer than 3rd person, plus the revanant was to overpowered. all one player had to do was stay up close to a wraith and just spin with the tank so they cant die. that was really annoying 4: being able to edit the vehicles, my suggestion was vehicle editor. a warthog with no turrent and 3 tires (like the bulldog on halo pc). envoirmental effects would be nice like the water height, being able to set where the kill boundaries are (though some players may get make a small area so you die upon spawn), time of day would be nice, and fire, and debris to make some maps look more like the player's game intentions, also being able to decide if the vehicle is wrecked (like when a warthog explodes, it could add to some scenry detail) 5: bigger forge maps would be nice. also, have any maps been made over the lake on the map erosion? ive managed to recreate a halo reach map there and it was pretty big also, theres a halo 5 forum http://www.343industries.org/forum/forum/119-halo-5/
  2. nothing's going to change and nothing's not perfect. its like asking "hey 343: can you change this little thing just for me". there's 2 choices 1: dont use the weapon 2: ignore it personally, i see no problem
  3. new vehicles would of been a nice addition. i mean really, theres: -new ENEMIES -new WEAPONS -new LOCATIONS -new STORY -new GAME MODES -no new vehicles their teleport is great but do they really feel like a trans-planet teleport when they could get in a flying vehicle and enjoy the ride. i sure hope H5 has new vehicles dont get me wrong but the unsc aquired a mantis but the covenant didnt (that you can use and wasnt in a previous game)
  4. 1-Agrees: the blocks are about 1/4 the size of reach's and the bridges are wider 1-Disagrees: some pieces are bigger though im not sure which ones 2-Agrees: piece limit does limit some building specs, you just gotta work with what you have 2-Disagrees: there were limits on reach. do remember, the forge is basically reach's with some changes 3-Agrees: highly doubt forge world will come to 4. there are some spaces to use like a little off the ground on impact and the open lake area on erosion 4-Agrees: dont really got anything 4-Disagrees: objects actually show shadows now as reach's left the default lighting as if nothing was there 5-Agrees: agreed. sometimes ill launch a mongoose off a grav lift and want to watch it lands without building a platform first so i can be a player and watch it 5-Disagrees: got nothing 6-Agrees: i could never align my maps by hand 6-Disagrees: i use edit coordinates 7-Agrees: textures are too boring, might as well look as the motionless sky 7-Disagrees: reach's textures were a fresh batch from the ancient look of 3 8-Agrees and Disagrees: havent used those gravity volumes and trait zones 9-Agrees: got nothing 9-Disagrees: having the coliseum window square instead of reach's window helps fill spots on maps that 2 windows had to fill 10-Agrees and Disagrees: didn't notice anything missing 11: add underwater since reach had some underwater maps

  6. this sounds intresting, i would like to try them as long as they are setup the same way as the other maps. plus, if i could, i would like to test out some of my games

Proud, there's a player commidation for perfections ive remade my other 4 loadouts and they dont seen to be working. about 5-12 kills per game with 7-15 deaths i may have to party up with someone or i can be 98% done with commidations and just ignore perfection -ive tried camping but the enemies managed to outnumbered or flushed me out -tried hit and run and either a vehicle was around the corner or players saw me coming usually vehicles dont last long. either by a pp, getting shot at, or someone who hides behind it and waits to board ill try new tactics and see what i can do or i can hope that im playing against a team who doesnt know what their doing like new players who rarely play halo
  8. 343 cant just release fixes for a single player for every single issue. anyways, i had a similar problem and couldnt get one of my reach maps to load but it appeared as a different map. it wouldnt load after a restart. try some of these suggestions 1) did you exit the game and then reloaded it? 2) did a console restart work? 3) is the back of the disk dirty or scratched? 4) is your console dusty? 5) did you select the correct storage device? 6) does the map appear in local files? what about temporary? 7) were any players in the game who might of saved the map? 8: remake the map and then put it on file share? only use 8 as a last resort by any chance, are you sure you didnt delete the file when "clearing out file share"
  9. i dont know what your youtube is. i hope you will check this topic anyways +im chill, it takes alot to make me mad (not going to list) +i love forging though i dont know why i cant recreate my reach maps +i would love a custom game night but no one wants to come -dont have skype +im 22 -dont have a mic or listens to voice chat plus i can get some advice on my maps and games so i know if their good enough for matchmaking
  10. i had some problems with spawn points when i tried setting them on one of my maps. if the playable area is too close to Return To Battlefield (default), try adjusting the map. or you can set the spawns at little off the ground and set the psychics to fixed or phased and hopefully the spawn wont get deleted anymore. ill sum up for you if you didnt understand 1) make sure the spawn point is clear 2) make sure a regular default boundary isnt showning on the spawn point 3) set the spawn point's psychics to fixed or phased a little above where you want to put it hope that helps

  12. thanks again everyone. for a perfection ill try active camo with hit and run tactics plasma pistol is a must for btb i generally try to use those assault weapons and sidearms for regular infinity slayer

  14. how many of you have played a few games and noticed at least 1 of your teammates aren't even playing? at least every 3 of 5 of my team games i played have 1-3 afk players who just stand there and are basically "free kills" for the enemies and my team usually loses all because of those afk players. also, i wonder if our team would of won if those afk players weren't afk at all. after playing COD MW2, i noticed that those afk players got booted after a certain time. i believe that the same concept should be applied to matchmaking. the concept could be that if a player was stationary without any button input or rotation, they could get booted after about 1 minute. some of you may spot a flaw with this: an afk player could do a button input such as reload (to not get noticed) so that the booting counter is restarted and the player can resume "being afk". the idea i have in mind is that if the player isnt moving and getting score points (even assists) they should get booted and hopefully a teammate joins who isnt afk. one thing to consider, how will the booting counter work if the match is nearing completion. one other thing your probably thinking "what if that afk player is my in my party or is a friend of mine. this would be useless then" personally, i believe that afk should be afk in their own game or on the menu, not in matchmaking matches dragging the team on a final note, some team combinations do just fine with afk players. also, afk players may just be afk so they can rank up hopefully, this will be implemented in a future update what does the halo community think about "AFK Players In Matchmaking Matches"

Trifle10 here and im asking if anyone wants to help test some games. ill even post what the games are so you know what your joining. ps, the beta testers wanted! topic didnt go well. the first game is Fiesta Arena on Erosion 16 player FFA the arena is a box shape the spawn area is double layered which means you could spawn anywhere you move at a quicker speed than normal the game went pretty quickly with 2 players Loadout Random weapons 1 Frag Dexterity the next game is testing default Infinity Slayer on the map Aspahlt this map takes place above the open lake on Erosion get onto the rooftops and you get Return To Battlefield go too high or try to leave map walls and you instantly die this map was created in Halo Reach and was added to the BTB playlist the map has the same layout as its reach counterpart only a few changes were made -the 2 machine turrents near laser are replaced with plasma turrents -the revenant is now a mantis -test the map if you want to see whats changed the next game is testing a multi team gametype on the map Grand Mars grand mars building (or BLDG) was my multi team map i created in reach since i didnt know how to submit maps to matchmaking at the time, it remains on my file share i recommend you see what the reach version looks like first, before trying this map is on Erosion -i am still building it. had to do many changes next game Is VE (Vehicle Elimination) on 6 maps you have 10 seconds to get into your vehicle and approach the arena (the distance is fairly short) destroy the others with your vehicle and be the last one standing 8 players compete the vehicles to test are banshee, ghost, mantis, both tanks, and default warthog -10 rounds -you wont be one hit ko'd -in 2 player testing, it took about 6 or 7 scorpion shots to end round the next games take place on the map Impact this is a game for 1 player. its called Armory. i have 5 different variants -your goal is to use all the ammo from all the weapons -you cant swap out weapons until A) weapon empty the weapon has no more ammo -not recommended to fire at the weapons Armory 2 is on my file share Station 45 is a BTB map vehicles are scorpion, rocket hog, gauss hog, ghost each team has the same amount of weapons and there on the ground -testing defualt Infinity Slayer with 16 players a gametype to test is Splockets splockets is spartan lasers and rocket launchers it was part of action sack (reach) that's all for now
  18. to host a lobby, go to war games and instead of find match, the box next to it is custom game. select your gametype and map that time is too late for me since im gmt -5 the specific options above are nice but i dont really know what kind of map i would be joining? a deathrace? a flood variant? anyways, good luck with the game and also try messaging your recent players and ask your friends that are coming to message their recent players. i know the feeling of no one coming to game night. i posted a topic yesterday called beta testers wanted! and so far no replies, so ill just post what kind of games would be tested. when i messaged the last 30 recent players, only 1 replied

FleshBack, Intresting Combo for BTB perfection DMR Plasma Pistol Plasma Grenades Camo (for stealth) Mobility Ammo or Ordinance priority my btb loadout is about the same BR Plasma Pistol Plasmas Hologram (replaced Hardlight) Shielding Stability (Rogue, replaced Ammo) Tip: Grab a Sniper rifle and try to get kills. If you're lucky, get other snipers from ordnance an try to kill enemies from afar. Desmond, most of the time someone else gets to the sniper first. snipers are kinda rare in my ordance choices, so my best bet is that i can get one from a fallen ally/foe stick with your teammates, they can help you get kills faster and safer. in my btb matches, most teammates are scattered about the map. but usually if we do go as a group, i just hope i dont be the first one sniped lol my other precision class carbine RGN dmr frags jet pack firepower explosives my objective class storm rifle pistol frags thruster mobility ammo 2 other automatic classes ar lightrifle plasmas camo firepower ordance priority suppressor SHA boltshot pulse promethean vision grenadier dexterity those are my loadouts and thanks for the input in advance
  21. i tried searching for maps, screenshots, gametypes, and films using the default ANY search feature. surprisingly, the results turn up no files found. has this been fixed or has anyone else expereinced this? Update: its working now
