  1. You have to be The Director to overthrow The Director. Then you become The Director. Except you're already The Director.
  2. In my opinion, they could have been better. The expectations were set that what you did in the previous games would effect the ending of ME3. Then the actions you took in the previous games had no effect at all. You could do absolutely anything and still get the same three endings. They definitely could have put more into the endings that they did.
  3. Ha. About 1% of our genetic makeup. That and our ability to create a vast amount of tools is pretty much the only thing that separates us from the rest of the animal kingdom and the "proto humans" that came before us. Which premium service? If I can afford to, yes. Yes I will. Probably twice.
  4. You should create a post requesting that it happen again. This post is really old, and so this counts as a "thread revival", which means I have to lock it.
  5. Fixed that quote tag for you. The American Revolution (also known as the American Revolutionary War, The American WAR of Independence, or simply the Revolutionary WAR) was in fact classified as a war. I don't know why you think it doesn't, but it not only does but is. It included thousands of troops, quite a few battles, and lasted just shy of a decade. If you think it wasn't a war because there was no declaration of war, the only time in history that a declaration of war was required for a war to be considered a war was when Nixon was trying to cheat veterans out of benefits. A war is a war despite there not being a declaration of it being so.
  6. BulletStorm. Probably for post count. lol
  7. If you haven't seen it yet, check out Ask The Director 2.0 http://343i.org/216

  8. Well that's what a pessimist would say. The meaning of life is to end. Everything dies. That being said though, that's just the meaning of life. The PURPOSE of life is to do things with it. What things? All things. Life is the ultimate "choose your own adventure". The only time you've not achieved the purpose of life is when you are on your death bed and you don't think you have. If you die regretting a decent chunk of the things you've done in your life, then you haven't fulfilled it's purpose.
  9. Anything and everything. It's not. The meaning of life is death. Because of the French. They made it no longer be a Revolution and turned it into an actual war between the colonies and the British Empire. They basically decided to help the rebels out and ended up bringing the English and French war to the states, overruling the revolution. I had that response prepared because I predicted that someone would ask that. lol
  10. Because I don't have "underdog complex".
  11. GDR, because the rebels only win in the movies. Baryonic matter as well as potentially some other "substance" that we cannot yet see or explain fully.
  12. So far, 100%. Also, he has two candy bars and the potential for diabetes.
  13. Because that's my voice. My voicebox offers me two options. Speaking such as the way you heard in the podcast, or yelling.
  14. I do have eyes, but only the worthy may see them.
  15. Sour cream is dubbed so due to it's taste, not it's freshness. And there can still be some serious food-borne illnesses that can grow on bad sour cream.
  16. There's no such thing as infinity to the second power because infinity isn't a number, it's a concept. Infinity times anything except for 0 is literally infinity. Some mathematicians have gone so far as creating an "infinity type 1 and infinity type 2", and proceeding to create long, complex mathematical problems on this basis. Their work is completely shattered, however, when someone poses the questions "What's the difference between the two types of infinity?" It's basic math. Even ants can step on the toes of giants, however the giant shall barely even notice. The best subforum to post in is completely dependent on your post and your personal preference.
  17. Even if you COULD multiply infinity (which you can't because it's not a set number), it would still be infinity because it isn't a set number.
  18. It's because of one of the definitions for the word "set". In this case, the definition would be: an apparatus of electronic components assembled so as to function as a unit. An alternate reason may be that the components that make up the television set are for two different actual devices. One for picture and the other for sound. At some point in your life I'm sure you've seen/heard of a television set where the screen would display a movie or tv show but there would be no sound, or the screen would remain black but you could hear the sound.
  19. If I was a duck, I would definitely prefer bread.
  20. It's a possibility that she is still alive, but I wouldn't put too much stock in it. The Librarian was more known for organic beings and not Artificial Intelligence, so the odds of your theory being correct aren't very good. My stance is that yes there is a glimmer of hope for Cortana, but there isn't enough information available yet to say for sure. Butch. And Blue. I think that is a VERY good question.
  21. Did you know that in Halo 3's mission "Crows Nest", if you aggro SGT. Johnson by killing friendly marines or trying to kill him, he will kill you in one shot.
  22. Actually, in the way Priceless and Worthless are used price and worth don't mean the same thing. Having worth, in this case, indicates that whatever the subject is it has value to it, while not being specific to what that value is. Price, on the other hand, means that the value of that object is specific. So, for instance: Object A is desirable, therefor it has worth. After finding out what that object is worth, a price is set for Object A. Object B is desirable, and therefor has worth. However, it is so desirable that one cannot find something of equal worth to set a price for Object B and cannot set a price. Therefor, the object is priceless but not worthless. Object C is not desirable, and therefor has no worth. Since it has no worth, it is worthless. Technically, this makes it priceless as well, however one could say that the price is $0.00, making it not priceless but still worthless. After two years of quality posting and abiding by the rules of the forum, I was asked to be a community moderator when a slot on the team opened up. Simple as that. Openings are very rare, however. It appears the "when" is 6/12/2014, the "how" is by typing something and pressing "post", and the where would be a secret. Somewhere on the site you don't have access to.
  23. Yes. You mean there was something other than the Halo segment? But I kid. For me it was the glimpse at Fable Legends. I love the Fable series (well, kind of like Fable III) and can't wait to hear more on it.
  24. The godlike powers mostly. Because the first one wasn't. Heck, the first one was pinned until I locked it.
