i really like the idea , but it also raises your chances of finding some of the most annoying people on earth in your game. haha, but i still like the idea

interesting theory, but chief, with or without an AI companion is still a death machine. In most of halo 3 cheif doesnt even have cortana and he wrecked the covenant. im sure he would be ok on his own, but the thought of losing this famous duo is sad, assuming the end will come for cortana. it may be posible that 343 guilty spark finds the librarian and brings her to the didact. The didact would be on requiem with chief, and the librarian could fix cortana or something. just a thought

i didnt know that his consciousness was part of the imprint of the Didact. thanks for the fact. it makes the idea of the Didact easier to understand

well, you wont have a firefight mode like in reach and you wont be able to access any spartan ops either. My best suggestion is to just get xbox live, i dont know if thats a problem for you or something, but its the simplest way to solve your problem

he had to do almost all guess work for a year because he had nothing more to work with than the teaser trailer. He gives solid facts that 343 i has announced now, and i dont have anything against him. he isnt the greatest or fastest source, but he deserves alot of credit for the hard work hes done

haha, so im not the first fan of the Didact i guess. Im a bit newer because ive only been a member here for about 2 months and i hadnt seen the other topics yet. but he does seem to be quite the celebrity

oh, thanks for the correction. i was thinking the wrong character but same book. but i thought that after the Didact was supposedly executed, he led a fleet of forerunners against Mendicant Bias( if that was the AI that rebelled). Its been a while since i read the books

everyone will be able to get the specializations eventually. If you buy the limited edition, you imediately unlock, but in the standard version, you need to unlock them as you progress. You get all of the specializations i think, but im not positive

when he gave his imprint to bornstellar, that just gave him all of the Didacts thoughts, memories, tactics, ect. Im pretty sure that bornstellar eventually became 343 giuilty spark. am i right??

well the forerunners ancient enemy(other than the flood) was the precursors. The last precursor was killed by the Didact who was a forerunner warrior. The precursors were supposedly the first race in the galaxy and they actually created the forerunners. The forerunners eventually rebelled and wiped out the precursors. It was also revealed that the precursors and the flood are the same race. The precursors were probably the most advanced state possible of the flood. I think that the precursors may have wiped out all previous life in the galaxy and they need a new species to use as hosts, so they created the forerunners. And after the forerunners defeated them, they had to evovle again from a lower form of their species which is the flood in the modern halo games. Just my theory. But if you want to know more about forerunners, look up topics about the Didact on these forums

this is actually very interesting and i dont think anyone has ever mentioned this before. I never thought that grenades would ordance drops

i alos forgot to mention the terminal at the end of Halo CE. guilty spark mentions something about not having the librarian around to control the Didacts temper and that the reclaimer would rather prefer the flood. This insists that the Didact is very dangerous enemy and for somemone to prefer the flood over something else.......very hard to accomplish. This is just more evidence to back him up as being an enemy

wow, i started a topic about the Didact and since then ive seen a lot more topics popping up about this subject. my topic was about the didact being a friend or foe but i forgot to mention this terminal at the end of CE. if the Reclaimer would rether prefer the flood, then this means that the Didact is probably very dangerous. This also insistes that he will be an enemy to chief. I also think that the Librarian is dead, but the Didact refuses this thought and is still searching for her using an army of prometheans. Maybe the Librarian is on Requiem and the Didact along with the Prometheans are already looking for her

from what i remember, i thought the master builder made the Didact an outlaw or somwthing( im probably wrong) so why would he be leading the prometheans? Also i wasnt trying to say that the Didact wasnt going to be in halo 4 at all. i have a topic about the Didact with a vote on wether he will be a friend or foe with some extra info about him. i think he will be a foe because he sounds like a threat to chief at the end of the campaign trailer, but this topic is very interesting

First of all, no one said the Didact ever controlled the prometheans. also, you mistake the promtheans( such as the large one in the campaign trailer) for the didact. one more hing to add, the librarian is dead, but the Didact still may be looking for her. i hav a similar topic about the didact

I've always been a fan of checking out all of the easter eggs that Bungie has put into the halo games. I'm sure 343 will have some of its own Easter eggs to put into the game. Maybe they will have mysterious dialogues like the terminals in halo 3 and the data pads in reach. Or they might do some crazy stuff like the dancing man in ODST or the Dance club in reach. We may also have to find the skulls before we can use them like in halo 3 when they were hidden. What would you guys like to see in regards to Easter eggs in halo 4???

they give you a code for the skins when the game is released

it was just a glitch in halo 2 and 343 wont let a glitch return. The easter egg idea sounds possible and it would be fun trying to discover it

the campaign is seriously what makes halo special. After i beat it on legendary and get most of the achievements, then i'll move into focussing on multiplayer. and also, halo 4 will have the spartan ops that comes out with a new episode each week. So its like an extra campaign mission that starts fresh each week

i doesnt seem to stand out and i probably wouldnt use that view. but i like to see all the interesting ideas that people come up with like this

i personally wouldnt play a 1v1 mode if there was one. There wouldn't be a large enough variety of small maps to give a different experience each time you played it. It would also support boosting which is something you want to completely avoid in competitive matchmaking
