  1. Welcome! Have a good time.
  2. Troll. Don't spam. really.
  3. I am of mixed opinion. In some ways I think it is good that 343i have listened to community, however it is important to note that the majority of the Community are hardcore, die-hard Halo fans who have been here from the very beginning, and they cannot make up for the casual, or normal Reach players. Back to the TU, I think some of what they have done is good, some not. I don't like No sword block, for example.
  4. I really think that having armor effect gameplay would be a huge mistake if it were to be implemented. Halo has always had the edge over other games such as CoD in the fact that you are always playing on a level playing field, which really does show off skill. Having armor effect, say, hitboxes, or allowing you to 1 hit melee but walk slower, would put a distinct disadvantage to new players, meaning they find it harder to rank up. This will go on in an endless cycle resulting in those who got the game earlier being able to have an almost permanent advantage over their opponents.
  5. It is just a codename, it may not be the actual name.
  6. Had to wave by to the Spanish Exchangers today :(

  7. Calm down. Believe it or not you are part of the minority, and whilst it may not seem like it in the forums this is because usually the more hard core style halo players like yourself sign up. I don't have a huge problem with cR, I believe that the way you can tell if someone is good is not through their rank but how they play in a game.

Welcome to the site, it's good to see you getting stuck in.
  9. Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your stay.
  10. What map pack? 343i are now exclusively working on Halo 4
  11. I don't spam off grenades as soon as I see someone. If I think a grenade or even multiple grenades will benefit me in a battle situation then why would I not try to give myself the edge over my opponent and ultimately come out on top, helping my team to victory? Yes, spamming of grenades can be annoying, but isn't it annoying when you are shotgun-meleed or sword blocked? If it helps you then I don't see the problem. As for the matter of people throwing grenades at you, then you have to get our of their way. Hang back and throw grenades, like them, or stay back and pick off headshots because the grenades have taken down the opponents shields.
  12. Not everyone did. I did, however some members have been here from the very start. Would be great to see you sticking around.
  13. It isn't going to die soon. It still reaches over 70K players a day. And that sounds like its coming from a noob who sucks at the game.
  14. There probably will be - to continue the trend of Halo 3 and Reach

  15. Great great editing, great clips. Brilliant Montage, you don't see many Halo ones these days. Great job, And welcome to the forums.
  16. Halo should be 1st person. Not only is it "not Halo" to have it 3rd person, but it offers certain unfair advantages to people in 3rd person - especially if you have the option to choose. Recoil looks visibly less, you have much better peripheral vision, meaning you can see people sneaking up on you. It would be cool to see certain actions in the 3rd person, for example evading or assassinating.
  17. Of course Reach isn't going to be like Halo 2/3. It is a different game. Would you like them to release the same game every year? No.
  18. IGN: Earlier reports were right on the nose. Apple has finally sent out invitations for the iPad 3 event for March 7, showing off what looks to be a hi-res tablet display. The event will be held at 10AM PST at the Yerba Buena Center for Arts in San Francisco, the usual location for company's big announcements. Apple's next iPad is expected to be equipped with a Retina Display, an updated processor and cameras, and possible 4G LTE connectivity.
  19. IGN: The next-generation Xbox may be codenamed "Durango." Crytek senior technical designer Sean Tracy wrote the following message on Twitter: "Enjoying the Durango developers summit in London. So far, great swag and interesting talks." Tracy deleted the tweet soon after it went live. Keep in mind that Durango likely wouldn't be the final name of the project, similar to the Wii U's Project Cafe codename. Previously, the successor to the Xbox 360 has been largely referred to as Xbox 720, though that codename has never officially been sanctioned by Microsoft. Rumors last year also suggested that the system was codenamed "Loop." For now, Microsoft hasn't made any announcements about its next console, and all codenames are only a rumor.
