Its kinda vague, but here goes. I had this friend who had all the coolest games/consoles. I went to his house one day, and we played this game. I had no idea what it was, I just knew I loved it. (I'm pretty sure now that it was halo 2) Eventually, we drifted apart as many friends do. But I had another friend, and we played H3 campaign. I was hooked. Every time I went over there, we would play Halo. Very long story short, going to his house just wasn't enough anymore, so I read all the books, and eventually bought an Xbox and all the games.

I would like to confess that I Yoinked an assassination from a guy on my team who only had 2 kills. Felt really bad for him.

I'm halfway to Legend. Hoping to make Nova before H4.

Right so, I'm new here. And I'm trying to learn the ropes around here. Are there rules? If so, where are they? Is there a forum category dedicated to discussing help/suggestions for this site? I followed 343.org on twitter, subscribed, and liked. Where are my medals? I participated in the repopulate H3 day. How do I get my medal?

I think my favorite is The Ark. That first sniper encounter, and then when you're rolling with 3 tanks and 3 Warthogs? BAWS.

I had it for a while on my tablet, but it was only sized for a phone, so it looked god-awful. But now, they updated it and its gorgeous!

I've been trying to get the H3 MM achievements, and they all seem pretty straightforward. There's just one problem. A lot of them are map/gametpye-specific. Defend This - Get 1 flag kills on any Legendary Map. Flag Dropped - Get 2 flag-carrier kills on any Legendary Map. Road Rage - Get 5 Warthog chain-gun kills on any Legendary Map. Look Both Ways - Get a Splatter Spree on any Legendary Map. Hammer Time - Get 5 Hammer kills on Assembly. Ghost Patrol - On Longshore, get 3 Ghost kills. Post Mortem - Get 2 Kill From The Grave medals on Orbital. Get The Horns - Get a bulltrue on a Mythic map. Delicious Brains - On a Mythic map, infect 2 humans. Zombie Repeller - On a Mythic map, kill 2 zombies. Now I have the Mythic disc, with all maps, but Legendary/Mythic maps never get chosen! I've never even played on Orbital, Assembly, or Longshore! And on the very rare occasion that a Mythic/Legendary map does get chosen, its not the right gametype! I've only played CTF 3 or 4 times, and I've never played one game of Infection. Bungie really screwed up by making these so hard to get. You need 3 things to happen to get them. 1. Get the right map. 2. Get the right gametype. 3. Do what it says. And don't tell me, "just keep playing, they'll show up". Because sometimes I put Reach away and play a full week of H3, and I still don't get to play the correct maps/gametypes. Update: Last night, I got CTF on Avalanche, but it got vetoed! :wallbash:

So, I copied the following from a post I made on HWP. Okay... I'm going WAY out on a limb here: Cortana's first words were, "When the game is over, the King and the Pawn go in the same box." Now, read this excerpt from the site. The highlighted text translates to "When the game is over, the King and the Pawn go in the same box." Coinkydink? Maybe, maybe not. Could it be that Halsey has Vinnevra's geas, and it was awoken in Cortana. Who, then, is Aurora? Maybe Chakas? Maybe someone else?

Hey there... I've had an account here for a while now, just never decided to use it. Now that one of my friends from Waypoint is migrating here, thought I'd pop my head in and see what all the fuss is about. So lets see... what to tell you about myself. I'm an avid poster on Waypoint. Got all the Halos except PC and Vista. Played all the campaigns at least once. I'm 2nd in command of a Reach clan. Not the best in the world, but we're up and coming. I also run a little Halo blog with news, reviews, and whatnot. So.. I guess I'll start posting here a bit now (excuse me if I necro-post), and if I like it alot, I'll start posting a ton. PS: If you could fill me in on any updates from Aurora Cygnus, that would be great. I'm very intrigued by all that, but all the threads about it get locked on Waypoint -__-
